If you've seen these eyeshadow palettes in Target and found time to wonder about them...by all means, take them out for a spin, but mind a few pros and cons. Pro: they're sheer, wearable, blend beautifully, and the colours are on-trend without being loud and confrontational. Con: the texture is EXTREMELY dry and powdery, so expect a lot of fallout--you'll want to prep the lids with a moist foundation or primer to help it adhere, and keep a packet of makeup wipes on hand to clean up under the eyes. I have the Shimmering Sands quad and the Diamond Life duo, both of which are in heavy rotation when I'm doing either nuts-and-bolts minimalism or a strong lip.

Great Eye Shadows! I have several of Sonia Kashuk's single colors & group palettes. I like her eye shadows as well as Macs or Ulta's. A little bit more color choices then other department store brands but not anything like Mac. But what is available are of nice quality & the mattes are very finely made. They blend well & hold all day.
The Sweet Nothings have a base with it which would work probably for normal to dry gals but I am a bit oily and Too Face shadow Insurance works better for me.
The Glitter Collection I bought last year has a nice matte plumb that is super nice color for in my shadow crease area when I use a light shade on my lid like Starlight (matte). I just wish it was available in the single palette. The other plumbs are too dark or too purple. I need to take it to the Mac counter (before I use it all up) & see if I can match it. I didn't have any luck with matching it with Ulta. I think it may be a limited collection too.
I like the glitter collections but I usually do not use heavy glitter eye shadows. They just are too glam for work but I have used them as an accent - high light for evening wear. I am older (50) so a little is better for me and I do not like a dark or heavy look. Less is more - but of coarse none is so Bla!!!!
Better then most of department brands out there. I am not knocking department store brands as I do use some, just not the eye shadows. I have not found many that I like as well as Mac. So I do recommend Sonia Kashuk as a nice quality brand to use for eye shadows.
Too Face - Shadow Insurance, eyelid primer. It comes in a handy tube. It’s a little expensive but you get what you pay for. I never ever have eye creases and my eye make up will stay on perfectly till I take it off even 24 hrs later. I have combo skin in the winter (2 months!) but mostly oily skin here in drippy hot Florida! I’ve tried so many but this one is the best. It is the only one that I don't ever have a crease no matter what I did even after a good work out at the gym.

I love her shadows! I have tried the sparkly ones which are to die for and the matt ones. I highly recomed the quad with the sparkly and matt shadows you will love it, It goes on super easy and gives your eves a wet shimmery look. I will buy again and stock up , I like these better than Bobbi Brown sparkle eyeshadows.

I bought an eyeshadow duo in Taunting Teal and I don't really like it. The colors are pretty in the pan but they are so lightly pigmented, the colors don't come out as nice as they look.

PROS:
1. Easily available at Target
2. AMAZING color choices
CONS:
1. Pricier than other DS brands
2. Not as pigmeted as I'd like (but this makes it easier to use the more daring colors during the day, toned down)
Repurchase? Yes. I currently own two duos, Cocktail Hour (01) and Take Cover (46?).

I was really excited to buy my first Sonia Kashuk eyeshadow pallet. I have the one in Sweet Nothings-16. I really like the eyeshadow base, its very smooth and makes my eyes look so soft. The eyeshadows however are not very pigment, which I was very disappointed about. You have to use a lot of product, usually layering on 3 swipes, to notice the color. Maybe because the colors are so light. Its not bad for just a simple eye color over the lid, but then I have to pair it with a more pigmented shade on the crease from another brand.

I purchased a white shimmery eyeshadow to use as a highlight color under my brows. It is chalky and wears off very quickly. More so I think than most eyeshadows I've tried. Even ELF. It looks ok when I first apply it, but the section I applied it to looks naked during the day. It doesn't last. I wore Loreal HIP on the bottom the same day and it lasted all day. Maybe it's just this color, because I haven't tried any other Sonia Kashuk products before.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE the Sonia Kashuk Showstoppers-01 Eye Shadow Quad. It is a small white plastic square palette of four eye shadow shades--all with a significant bit of shimmer. I am a total nerd for shimmer, glitter and sparkle so it's no surprise that I would totally fall in love with this eye shadow set! There is a shimmery white (for highlighting the brow bone, I guess), a sparkly taupe or beige (which I use for my lid), a pretty brown shimmery shade and a sparkly black that I use to line my eyes. These shadows make my eyes pop and stand out, although I guess it might be a little much for daytime. So they're more of a "going out" kind of product. It was $9.99 in Target, and If it is possible, I think I like this even more than the NP Set palette that I thought was just the cat's pajamas before.

Ugh...where to begin! I recently bought the *ShowStoppers* Quad after reading about it in different magazines. I was definitely on a mission to try it and went to every Target around trying to find it. I finally did...and what should have been a totally satisfying moment was a bust! There is NO color to this quad, it is simply glitter. When I pressed harder to try and get more color, I just got chunky glitter. I felt like I was 13 all over again! :-) I was disappointed, because I have tried other Sonia Kashuk eyeshadows and they were decent. This quad might be alright if your planning on going to Vegas...or go-go dancing! :-)

I have Sonia Kashuk Enhance Eye Shadow in Sand, Savory and a duo called Peach Puff. I love them all! The coverage is excellent. I did purchase all of them on clearance at Target so I'm not sure if the colors are around any longer but I love the coverage so much that I wanted to do a review on Sonia Kashuk shadows in general. I'm glad it will go a long way because I assume these colors were discontinued.

I bought the eyeshadow duo in golden goddess at target a long time ago, I got it on clearance for like 2 bucks. I love it, I use it a lot in the summer, it's has a pretty gold color which I use on my lid, and a pretty gold brown color I use in my crease. I add a highlight, liner mascara and voila, perfect summer bronze golden eye.the quality is pretty good, not the best but definitely not the worst, they are pretty soft shadows, and have good color payoff, at least for me. I hope after I run out I can find something like this. The only thing I dislike about it is the packaging, it's nice and small, but It has a clear plastic window that pops out every time I go to open it. It also has a small mirror but it's pretty much useless. Other than that perfect duo.

I was pleasantly surprised when I picked this up on a whim while doing errands at Target. I bought a duo with a yellow-gold / bronze color and always get complements when I wear them together. Both colors have a nice pigment, although require a little more than I would use with my MAC eye shadows to show up. Ironically, I was wearing these together when I went to the MAC counter and the MA complemented my eye makeup.
If you see a color that you like, I would suggest you pick up. They're relatively cheap and of high quality. The packaging is cute (comes with a small mirror inside of it), is trendy white (this mac computers lol), but can be difficult to open sometimes. I would definitely repurchase or purchase in a different color if I saw one that intruiged me.

This is one of my favorites... I have the loose shimmery one in steel that I haven't been able to find anywhere else. Goes on like a dream and adds a beautiful sparkle to my lids. Don't know the price point as I got it in a package, but I'm guessing it's pretty affordable.
Would definitely buy (not again, because I never have to begin with) if I came across it!

I purchased my first SK eyeshadow duo in stormy night and I am simply wowed. The deep shimmery grey silver and the cool silver goes on together so well with my dark honey brown eyes... and it lasts all day. The shadow is creamy and smooth and I love how easy it is to blend and I only need a bit of it. I definitely think that it is comparable to many high-end brands and for the price ($7.99 for this duo), it's worth it! The packaging is really nice to considering the price... everything about this product just seems like it's worth a lot more than it is selling for!

I bought this eyeshadow because the price seemed right, and I liked the matte neutrals. It's not terrible, but it doesn't stick when I apply it. I inevitably end up with a dusting of eyeshadow under my eyes that I have to wipe off. Also, they aren't very pigmented. You have to apply a lot in order to get it to show up.

I purchased this shadow duo on clearance at Target, and paid less than $2. This particular pair, Shining Star, is a matte soft pink and a shimmery pale grey. There is a distinct difference in how the two shades apply. While the pink goes on creamy and smooth, the grey turns to dust at the touch of a brush. The pink blends beautifully, while the grey takes layers to appear. In all, this product is worth about what I paid for it. I would not buy at full price unless I found a fabulous shade and knew it would apply like the pink side. Nice enough find if you are not picky about makeup or want something sheer, but I do not see myself reaching for it often.

I purchased the Sonia Kashuk Eye Shadow Duo in Secret Admirer-07 (purple and very light pink/cream) and I'm not very impressed, but not disappointed either. This product caught my attention because of the adorable packaging and because of somewhat pretty shades. What I like: again, the shades are decent and the packaging is cute. There is some small amount of shimmer in this product but it's not overpowering. What I don't like: the colors don't last long unless you use a primer. If you have undereye dark circles, you should make sure to regularly touch up that area or else you can look worn out and tired. Overall, this product is just bland and not a standout in my opinion. I may end up experimenting with other eye shadows, but there's no reason not to repurchase this again.

I bought Sonia's palette in neutrals, and it's amazing! I've purchased it several times, and the colors are rich and long-lasting, smooth, and, except for the darkest color, easy to blend. There's a great range of shades, from pale and shimmery cream to a dark coffee, and there's a primer as well. This is one of my very favorite shadow products and I wear it every day. :)

I own several Powder Partner compacts and think for the price, these are a great deal. Powder Partner's pair two colors: a lighter matte color and a deeper shimmer tone.
The shadows apply smoothly and blend well. Color intensity is buildable and can be layered for more drama. If you use high pigment shadows, these might not offer enough color for your taste.
I use a eye primer (UD Primer Potion) under these shadows. They wear just as applied until I take them off at night. I have not experienced any caking or creasing.
I use the lighter shade as a wash over my entire eye. For day, I smudge the darker shade along my lashline as liner and for evening I take the deeper shade into my crease.
The color selection runs mostly to neutrals. The more trend-conscious color pairings tend to be interpreted to a wearable, everyday tones.
I really like these shadows and would recommend them without question. Some days I want to reach for colors that are flattering and I know will work. These are great for just such a day.
