I love this cleanser! I probably shouldn't be using it, since I'm a girl, but I needed facewash when I was at my bfs and this was the least manly smelling one so I used it :P But I have mild/moderate acne and have used my share of cleansing products with only moderate success...and this is probably my favorite or second favorite cleanser that I've ever used! I'm considering buying myself one too, even though that's probably weird. It works really well though!

My husband loves this scrub (he has sensitive, occasional break-out prone, and ingrown-hair prone skin). It really makes a difference for him before he shaves, reducing cuts and irritation. When he doesn’t use it, he is littered with cuts. It also makes his skin smoother and softer. We couldn’t find the scrub for a while, but were able to a year ago and he has been using it ever since. We will definitely buy again.

I recently purchased this for my mid-20s boyfriend and he really likes it. He had a lot of little red marks on his cheeks from razor burn and ingrowns. The scrub cleared his face considerably and didn't seem to cause any new breakouts. I tried it once and wasn't as much of a fan but it seems to work for him. He liked the idea of this so much he went out and purchased two other face scrubs so he could experiment and see which one of the three works the best.

This is almost identical in texture to Olay's Daily Renewal Cleanser- creamy, rinses well, and has a tiny amount of grain to it. Too bad Neutrogena left out the best part of Olay's version-the salicylic acid. If it had that, this would be my HG cleanser, but, without it, this is just a regular, rather ineffective scrub. And I really loved the fragrance of this (especially compared to Olay's- makes me feel like i am using an old lady's product)-wish it was available in a deodorant, bodywash or soap (not available in Canada).

The consistency of this scrub is halfway decent, but it has a very strong synthetic fragrance which I just couldn't get past and the price point is quite high for a drugstore product.

I bought this for my boyfriend after he told me that he really doesn't wash his face. WHAT?!?!?! I just couldn't get over it. I wash my face, apply product after product and still don't have skin that looks as good as his. Anyway, his skin does tend to get dry and red around his nose and cheeks occassionally so I bought his this along with Aveda Hydrating Lotion to combat it. He said he liked this stuff, but it's still in the shower months later so I somehow get the feeling he doesn't use it much. I used it once and it was a little rough for me, but it was good enough in a pinch.

Got this for my husband,and he really likes it...it's highly fragranced,lathers well,and not too scrubby(scrubby scares him,for some reason). It makes his face nice and soft and provides great exfoliation,as he uses an electric razor and does not get the proper exfoliation from the regular razor anymore. I tried it, and it's not scrubby enough for me. But he likes it,I like how it makes his face feel,and we both are happy. I am also glad I have him interested in skincare...he also uses the after shave balm. That's enough for now ;).

Even though I'm not a man, I could not resist to try out the sample Neutrogena sent me. I do like this more than the Razor Defense lotion. It did a pretty good job of manual exfoliation. There was a significant "cologny" scent, but it washed away after rinsing the product off. The particles were not as small as some high end exfoliants, but for a rough man's face, this would be excellent. If you think you have thick skin that can handle this and don't mind scent, this might be for you. I would not purchase this but might recommend it to the man in my life :)
