I want to have a green primer to tone down the redness in my face. This primer made my skin burn. It said on the package that it is suitable for sensitive skin. Apparently, there is an ingredient that I'm sensitive to. When I applied it on my face, I noticed a slight smell of cinnamon. After reading countless beauty review sites, I know that a cinnamon-based chemical is used as sunscreen. Maybe that's what the chemical was. The burning happened just a few seconds later. I had to wash it off. It feels like applying peppers to my face. I didn't get a bad rash or peeling skin, but the slight itching is definitely a turn-off. The brush was incredibly awkward to use. As far as the coverage goes, I haven't seen much of a difference at all. Physicians' Formula has more misses than hits. When I was younger, it was a great brand. This primer, along with some other products that Mom and I have tried, is really ruining the company's reputation.

I used this primer for a long time, and for some reason, I guess I just ran out, so I stopped using it! For almost a year now I've been trying all these other primers just to see if there was anything else out there. I found a few I liked, then started to need concealer a lot over my acne spots. I have always used some, but it was getting ridiculous! Then one day, voila...it came to me! This product alone tones down all the redness in my acne marks that I barely need any concealer! I can't believe I stopped using it and struggled for no reason! Now this is, once again, the best part of my makeup routine. Tones down redness, smoothes my skin, and gives a nice canvas for my makeup! I will forever more have numerous bottles on hand!! P.s. I hate the brush on the end, but I just cut it off and dispense the primer into a little jar!!

I bought this so my rosacea would be less noticeable. It did nothing for it, in fact, it actually made my rosacea look even redder than before.

This stuff does nothing for me. I didn't get a waxy consistency like others have said. Mine goes on like a thin moisturizer, and disappears. It in no way helped with the longevity of my foundation, or the little bit of redness I do have.
Somebody actually stole my Monistat Chafing Gel. Either they couldn't find it in a store (It's hard to find here) or they were embarassed to buy their own. I' mgoing to just reorder another one of those online. It's not a redness corrector but it does the job as far as a primer goes.

After reading the reviews I HAD to try this. I tested this on the inside of my arm over a red scratch, and it seemed to make it less noticeable! Wonderful! I have some red on my cheeks and forehead, so I was super excited to try it. Unfortunately, it did nothing for the redness in my face. I'm not sure why, because I'm not really that red, I don't notice it in pictures or anything. Maybe I need to use more? But the real disappointment is that by the end of the day I felt 3 giant, under the skin pimples starting...yikes. I really want to try it again, but I don't want to risk breaking out horribly. I even had a pump foundation bottle i was ready to transfer it into :( I may just pass it on to a friend instead.

I really like this product so far. I've used it several times, and it makes my foundation (i'm using physicians formula loose powder foundation) look and stay on sooo much better. I have acne, as well as a lot of scarring from it (both those red marks and deep pock marks) on my cheeks, and this primer seems to smooth over that and makes my skin seem so much smoother and more even. Though my skin still doesn't look perfect (which no makeup ever really can do), this stuff really has made a big difference, even though its the first primer i've ever tried. I like the fact that it's a three in one sunscreen, color corrector and primer, though i still wear my regular mosturizer under it. the brush/applicator thing is kinda dumb and unsanitary, so i just use my clean fingers to apply and rub it. Definitely recommended!

I love this primer! I too have noticed there are multiple product reviews in this one review section. The one I am reviewing is the Mineral Wear Talc-Free Mineral Correcting Primer in Green which has a 3 color brush applicator where the product comes out. This stuff is so good! I was very surprised that it actually made the redness in my skin look a lot less red! I can now use less concealer and foundation! It doesn't cause me any breakouts which is hard for me to find as I am so breakout prone. I definetly would recommend it and for the price ($9.95 at Walmart) it's definetly worth it and it's really cheap as far as primers go! I wanted to try the pricey $30.00 green primer by Pur Minerals and I'm SO glad I tried this first so I wouldn't have to pay that!

This stuff is tricky, but it can work. If you have redness issues, you'll find that this can help, especially if you have fair skin and most foundations make you look too peachy. However, rather than peachy, this primer can make you look rather hollow and lifeless. I mix this with the nude version of this primer, about half and half each, which creates a beautiful sheer fair shade. The texture is very nice, ultra-bendable. It goes without saying that the applicator brush is annoying and unhygienic; I wish it were a normal squeeze tube. But Physician's Formula can't seem to resist gimmicky packaging. Here's what I recommend: rip out the brush (easy to do), and dispense the product into an empty foundation bottle from another line. This makes application a lot simpler, and you can pre-mix the colors (green, nude and pink) to create a custom shade for your complexion.

This product made me break out horribly. I would not suggest it. Hopefully CVS will give me a refund.

A lot of these reviews seem to be for a variety of green corrective products, from powder to stick to liquid.

Thew review I'm writing is for the new Mineral Wear Talc-Free Corrective Primer green liquid in a bottle with an attached flat tri-color brush applicator at the top.

I have the Soft Green powder & I love it (speckled green & white).
Then I found this brush-ended liquid primer in green & decided to try it. Lately I've been looking for green tinted creams & lotions to combat facial redness.

It looks like Physicians Formula is finally starting to get its green correctors right! Their green formulas in the past were just too murky. Their newer items such as the powder & this primer are much brighter & easier to work with.

The bottle took a lot of clicks & turns to get started (about 50 as opposed to the 10 stated on the box), but once it did I saw a pale creamy green smooth lotion that was easy to apply & disappeared well into the skin while toning down excess facial redness. I like that this packaging is fairly hygienic. I dab some my skin with the brush applicator & then smooth it with my fingertips. The finish is sheer but effective & matte, not greasy.

The bottle contains only 1/2 oz for $8 (on sale). Original price is outrageous ($15), which I would not pay as there are other alternatives out there, this is only one of them. So I recommend always getting this on sale or with a coupon if you find.

Otherwise it's a good corrective makeup product & I'd buy it again on sale.

I bought this in powder finish, and though I don't usually have much acne, when I do this is the first thing I reach for. It's easy to blend and covers whatever I need it to cover without looking all to green- so I don't know what y'all are talking about, but it's not 'shocking' green :P.
I am now a firm believer in correctors as opposed to concealers, and I have a feeling I'll be going into the drugstore for the yellowish shade pretty soon. :]

I use this instead of foundation. I have a lot of redness in my cheeks, nose and chin. You have to blend very well, I use my foundation brush to blend it in.
I really love this product, it saves me a lot of time. It is the base of my make up routine for work.

I have broken capalleries which cause red splotches all over my face. There is almost no area that isn't red. When used sparingly over red areas, this really neutralizes redness and creates a great base for foundation. I have tried other green tinted correctors, but this one is the best.

I purchased the lipstick looking green colour corrective primer. I didn't like how this stuff felt on my face. It was too hard to blend and made my skin visibly green, even under foundation. I chucked out the stick. Then I purchased the powder mosaic green colour corrective stuff, that one was better because it was easier to blend. However it didn't do a very good job at concealing my redness, and would bring out and make more noticeable my dry patchy skin. I used the entire thing and did not and will not repurchase as I keep trying out other green colour corrective products.

This is one of my favourite make up items!! I often get random pimples and this disguises them really well, i often use a cotton tip and dab a really small amount on the area, followed by a dab of foundation, blend a little and cover with pressed powder. When i get dry areas of skin i first apply a dab of vaseline so it doesnt get that flakey apperance. They make another regular concealer and one for under the eyes so i think i may try those aswell!

My HG color corrective primer!! I bought this about a year ago, used it once, and threw it in the reject pile because it was too green. The trick is that you have to experiment with the amount used to balance the skin redness out. What I do is I mix it with my foundation (which is fairly light in coverage) and it's PERFECT. It works wonders with the redness. I love this stuff and I hope that physician's formula doesn't discontinue this stuff any time soon! :)

My skin is very sensitive, so I need something to counteract the redness. A little of this stuff goes a long way, so make sure you don't use too much of it or you'll end up looking green. I don't really like the brush that comes with it so I just bought another brush and it works fine.

I need this product. I have red, roseaca areas on my chin, and cheeks. My skin is very hormonal and breaks out easily. It is also dry, sensitive and super light. I believe if you use this product a little goes a long way. I have tried other corrective color foundations from Almay, Mary Kay, Bobby Brown, Estee Lauder, Dior... And for the price this is great. Super cheap and can be found at the grocery, drug stores or cosmetics places. The green blends pretty nicely and a touch or two really makes my foundation look lighter.

I would never try this product unless you really need it or you will be frustrated with the purchase. You will feel you wasted your time and money. The green will really stand out unless you need it. It is not an expensive product so will feel waxy or cakey. This is an inexpensive corrective concealer that is designed for the reddish undertones of some people. If you skin is on the sallow side this is not the product for you. Look to other options by Physicians Formula.

Not impressed. Doesn't cover very well and has a hard waxy consistency that makes it difficult to apply. Flakes off if you try to use foundation (at least mineral makeup) over it. Would not repurchase.

I bought this based on the reviews and I have to say I'm very dissapointed. It did not cover the redness I thought it would, and it leaves behind sparkles. Who wants that when trying to cover up redness from acne or using it under the eyes?!?!? I'll never use this again.
