This is the hair color product that I usually go for. I've tried other brands few years back and it seemed to damage my hair a lot more than this product. I like the conditioner that it comes with and the smell isn't as strong as other brands and bearable. The color comes out always great and doesn't wash out.

I naturally have medium - light brown hair and over the past couple of months I've been dying it at home trying to go lighter slowly, working up to blonde. My hair was on the orange and then yellow side of blonde and after reading reviews for Garnier Nutrisse in Champagne, I gave it a go.

My hair looks great! At first it still looked a bit yellow, but after a couple days it has toned down and looks quite natural! It's not as light as the color on the box, and I left it on for 45min (I think the instructions say 25-35), but it is definitely lighter and a nice neutral blonde. This is really saying something as my hair always goes brassy. I will definitely use this product and color again to touch up my roots and maybe to refresh the color!

Very pleased!

I have been home bleaching my hair platinum and have had enough of the damage so I want to start henna-ing it, but wanted to start on a base of my natural color. Well we all know hair that is stripped of all of its natural orange, red, yellow pigment layers can turn green if dyed brown, particularly an ash brown. So, I chose this brand since it was on super sale (like $4 w/ coupon) at rite aid. I bought an orange shade (think it was 'auburn blonde' or something; lemme tell ya, it was orange). I applied it on dry hair, left on for only about 20 min and used the little packet of conditioner it came w/ plus more 3-minute miracle. I blew dried and immediately applied the brown shade I also bought, which I believe was called medium golden brown (again to ensure no green would creep up). Same process as last time although I left it on 30 min. Voila, soft, shiny hair that is as close to my natural color that I've seen in a while!!! On to the henna, body art quality only so no chemical interactions, mehandi brand, hennaforhair.com.

I really really like this product. It doesn't dry out the hair. Hair comes out soft and very shiny. Easy to use. I really like it. Unfortunately it really didn't lighten my almost black hair but very very slightly. It kind of took the edge off the black. I used Natural Light Brown. On the box, the color of the hair is VERY light. But on me... it didn't lighten .... maybe i need to keep doing it? I don't know. Loreal Performing Preference is a crappy product overall but at least it DOES lighten the hair to what the box color shows. Unfortunately. I will buy this product again maybe for just the shine i get.... Sigh...

I use the Chamomile 10.0 on fading (natural) medium Auburn hair that I've been lightening with blonde hair color for the last year or so. The Nutrisse is much gentler than Clairol or Loreal products and the Chamomile shade is neutral and lightens it subtly with no surprises; not a 'golden' shade that pulls more red (it is auburn naturally) nor a 'cool' shade that is ashy and might turn it green or gray. This lightens it to a strawberry blonde shade which is the effect I want.
I don't get scalp itch or burn when the product is on my head either which is a plus. I usually have some type of reaction to other color brands, not severe but enough to cause discomfort and there is absolutely none with Garnier. I use it every 4 weeks because of rapid hair growth and this does not dry out my hair either. The conditioner is great but it's only a packet size for one use. I highly recommend this product and I hope they do not discontinue it.

I used this in shade chamomile after reading the great reviews on here and anna saccone review on YouTube. I am happy with the results although I will leave the mix on longer next time. My hair is naturally light brown but was very blonde as a child. I normally get my hair highlighted every 8 weeks but was looking for a cheaper alternative. When I first put mixture on my head I felt a tingling sensation but nothing too bad. I rinsed off after 30 mins and my roots looked quite orangey.. BUT after a few days and washes the colour has settled to a nice light beigey blonde that blends well with my highlights. I think next time ill leave on my roots for 40 mins to see if I can avoid the 'hot roots' - overall v happy with colour- hair doesn't feel too dry and everyone loves the colour! My hubby said it looks better than when I go to the hairdressers!!!

I bought this product in #70 Dark Natural Blonde. My hair color before I dyed it was a light brown and I wanted to go slightly lighter for Spring. After following the instructions, my hair turned out dark brown (with a product that should have lightened it). That being said, my hair feels soft and shiny despite not at all being the color that I wanted.

I used this in "Dark Ash Mahogany Brown" today. This was my fix to the mishap from 6 weeks ago (suffered through the worst fading and disgusting end result the past few weeks feeling fugly, deep conditioning it until it was ready to recolour) last colour was, L'Oreal truffle aka purple hair from Sally's that left my hair so fried, I cut it off... . Anyhoo, this was much easier on my hair, covered evenly, no lighter roots despite the 1 inch of grown from between dyes, left my hair soft, with more dimension and best of all it looks really rich, but NATURAL... a rich natural dark mahogany brown like this is hard to find, it's great because it's what I wanted from my last dye 2 months ago minus the purple! LOL.

Garnier Nutrisse Creme- the one with fruit oil and the avocado enriched hair conditioner treats my hair the best, and the color lasts the longest. I have used Loreal ( Boo!- it dried my hair out) and Clairol (Meh! color didn't last long on me) The blonde spectrum of colors available run slightly darker than the color chart on the boxes appear so you may want to choose a color a shade or 2 lighter ... I use shades 80 and 81 the most and it is a very believable mid blonde on my natural light brown hair.

I used this several times and quite liked the actual colour (Dark Mahogany Brown - a unique shade). And it did cover greys, just not for long. After about 3 weeks I would have greys poking out, not just at the roots, but all over. It's like the colour just faded right off them. And I rarely had much look of roots, so I guess it faded right off entirely. This is actually a good thing if you don't have grey and are worried about ending up with stripy hair! But I don't want to be colouring my hair every three weeks. I went back to Nice & Easy and can't believe the difference. Turns out this Garnier is kind of crap. Too bad about the fun shade!

Chose medium ash brown as was my usual color choice for years in other brands. It is lighter than other medium browns, the gray coverage stinks and after 2 weeks the color washed out of my hair (I use color safe shampoos & conditioners). Terrible product will not buy again.

I usually dye my hair in the salon due to having thick, coarse, black Asian hair and usually wanting the color lifted more than a few shades. In the past I have dyed my hair from a light brown almost blond to red and haven't colored my hair in a few years. Used Feria before and it did nothing to color my hair and left it very dry. Started out with Nutrisse Ultra Color in Golden Brown and it really didn't do anything...was kind of disappointed since it was specifically for dark hair. Went back and bought #535 Chocolate Caramel and it turned out perfectly. I am not sure if the color worked out because it had been dyed previously but I was pretty impressed the color took to my hair and was lightened. My hair didn't feel dry or brittle like it has when I have used Feria which is saying a lot given the natural texture of my hair. Very impressed with Garnier and am going to try some other of the colors to see if I can lift the color a bit more.

My natural color is a medium-light brown. I have been coloring my hair blond for years at the salon. I always got a full foil highlight and an all over high lift color. It cost a small fortune. Now that I have a mortgage to pay, I had to find a cheaper alternative. I used to work in a salon so I am somewhat knowledgeable on hair color. Because of this, I convinced myself I could color it myself. I was super nervous. I picked this up based on the reviews. I have used it three times now. I wanted to use it more than once before I wrote a review to be sure the first couple times weren't a fluke. The first time I chose color #100 Chamomile. It gave me hot roots (bright and brassy). However, after a few shampoos, it toned down quite a bit and my old highlights kind of saved me because they were not brassy, so I could live with it. The next time I chose #111 White Chocolate. It is an ash blond so I was hoping it would cut the brassiness. It did! There is no brassiness in my hair! It made my hair the extra light blond that I love and it didn't damage my hair like the highlighting did. And it only cost like $6. I just recently used the White Chocolate again and I got the same fantastic results. I will continue to use this. I mix it in the bottle and then pour it in a color application bowl and use a color application brush to apply. I had one from my old job, but you can get them both at Sally's pretty cheap. It really helps the application process. I brush it on the roots, leave it on for 30 minutes, put it on the rest of my hair for 5 minutes and then rinse it out. I do not leave it on my ends any longer than 5 minutes because the ash in it will turn it a greenish/grayish color. I am so thankful to all of the reviews on here because without them, I would still be spending $200+ every six weeks.

I bought and used number 7, dark blonde "almond". I have no idea what part of it is supposed to be dark blonde (my natural hair colour) because it came out dark brown with a red tinge. It makes my skin look pretty good and the colour is ok. But it's not what I wanted. I've used the Garnier herbashine in dark blond (with success) and thinking it was the same company the colour would be the same, No. I won't be using this again. Thankfully my hair doesn't hold on to colour all that well even permanent so it's washing out and lightening a bit.

I've been colouring my Mom's hair for over a year now, and usually I use a cheap hair dye from Sally's which provides amazing colour but not any grey coverage. Recently we decides to try out this hair dye and I loved the application of the product. There were no drips and it was super easy. After my mom washed her hair there was no change from her previous hair colour. She had black roots and medium brown coloured treated hair, and there was absoulutely no change what's so ever. I do not suggest this product to anyone with medium brown-black hair.

I've been coloring my hair for over 15 years, and have tried every color and brand, both at-home and in the salon. I've have been using #82 Champagne Fizz for the last 5 years - IT IS INCREDIBLE!

My color is naturally medium/dark brown, and I get the exact shade of the girl on the front box, which is significantly lighter (and less brassy) then the anticipated color from the color guide on the side of the box. I use two boxes to touch up my roots (about every 6 weeks), and leave it on for 45 minutes, which is about 20 minutes longer than listed in the instructions - the extra dye and extended time probably helps me to achieve the lighter shade.

I also have long, very thick, wavy, out-of-control hair that I straighten every day, and requires a lot of deep conditioning to keep from drying out. I don't experience any additional dryness or negative changes to the condition of my hair at all - if anything, it's more conditioned after i color it (the conditioner they include for use after you wash out the color is awesome).

I DEFINITELY recommend this brand!

I am an Asian girl with very dark brown, almost black hair. However, I have a lot of grey growing in that seem very noticeable to me & are bothersome. The worst part is the "skunk stripe" that I have towards the back of my head. I bught this color to blend away my grays. It did a beautiful job. The skunk stripe just looks like highlights, along with the other random grays. I bought this in #434, Chocolate Chestnut, and it seems to be wearing well. I would totally re-purchase this. UPDATE: I have continued to use this, and am still getting beautiful results. This color makes my greys just look like highlights. After using this color, my hair is glossy and shiny, the color is rich and has dimension, and it feels silky! I like this so much that I keep 3 boxes in my bathroom. I would totally recommend this without hesitation or reservation.

I`ve been using this for years. Mostly the #111 White Chocolate, which is a cooler blonde, to minimize brassyness. I have light/medium brown hair and it is already colored blonde so I only do the roots. After L`Oreal dried my hair out multiple times, I will stick to the Garnier. I really like it, smells nice enough, the conditioner is excellent, and I especially like it when my scalp is irritated as this doesn`t burn the scalp, kinda gentle. It has a Vol 30 peroxide, that lightens 3 levels, so I got an Ion sensitive scalp Vol 40, and just pour the 30 out and swith for a 40. Perfect. I leave it on for 1 hr though! As I mentioned, I only do the roots as it on previously colored hair it might get grayish color (don`t panic if that happenes as after 3-4 washes it disappears!:-) ) Quick, easy to apply, smells nicer than most colors, doesn`t burn. My favorite drugstore brand. (For once in a while overall color I used the #100 Natural blonde shade, and it came out goldish on the roots but beautiful on the already colored lenghts. Just once in a while to refresh color, but after that for the roots I stick to the #111.)

I have tried may at home hair dyes. I must say this product is my favorite. I purchased 434 Deep Chestnut Brown. I love the results. Other brands have left my hair feeling like straw after dying. With Garnier dye it left my hair manageable and soft. I have read some people don't like the smell but to me no hair dye really has a great smell. The dye smell isn't as bad and is more tolerable than other hair dyes. I have a few gray hairs and it did a good job of covering them. Overall I love this product and plan on repurchasing it again.
