Love this color. This is very flattering for those who need shades with cool under-tones and it's especially good on very dark brown eyes.

Beautiful shimmery silver/pink color on my Asian Lt-med skintone and dark brown eyes. I wear this on the lid with MAC Copperplate in the crease and dark black/brown kohl liner. It's a beautiful, glowy, subtle smokey eye.

I would never have purchased this color on my own - got it as a GWP and I am loving it. It's the perfect light grey/slightly pale blue for a daytime smokey eye. Has the perfect amount of shimmer so it doesn't look cheap. Wears well all day as long as I use my UDPP under it. The one drawback is the major fallout when applying but overall it's perfect. Will definitely be buying backups of this one. Highly recommend!

Stila shadows have only recently become available in my area and I've become a big fan. The pans contain a lot of product - twice the amount of a standard MAC shadow - so are good value for the price, IMO. And so far, with all the shadows I've tried, the quality is excellent and the colour selection is so tempting.
I bought "Cloud" on the encouragement of another MUA member and she didn't steer me wrong. Cloud is a silvery beige - almost silver but with a trace of beige that makes it more to my liking. It has a lot of shimmer/sheen but no full on glitter or chunky fall-out. On its own, on the lid/inner corner, it looks stunning, with some dark liner and mascara. Add a bit of something like MAC's Keep Your Cool to the crease and you've got something simple and divine. A matte highlighter (WnW Brulee or MAC Orb) and you've got a really dimensional and elegant look for your eyes. While I would repurchase this, there is so much product that I doubt I'll hit pan in the next 10 years.
Edit: I loved Cloud before but I'm loving it even more now, since I have come to learn that it is almost an exact dupe for Chanel's Safari (which I became a bit obsessed about getting but was looking for a dupe "in the meantime"). From swatches I've seen and blogs I've looked at, others seem to think these are pretty close to one another so I've just saved myself a fair whack of cash (Chanel shadows are close to 40 bucks here in Canada; Stila represents a much, MUCH better value).

I wasn't originally into the color because I was pairing it with Kitten & Puppy and for me, these seemed the wrong shades.
However after placing this with better palletmates, it's made all the difference. For me, I'm not sure it works with brown colors. Rather, it seems to work perfect with deep blues, purples, and maroons. I'd probably call this silver with a hint of purple. Then again, if you read all of the reviews you'll see the color is up for debate.
This cool tone will work differently on everyone.

This is a beautiful silvery gray that really emphasises my blue eyes, especially with a dash of black eyeliner. I find it lasts all day and I can apply it dry or wet for more impact. The only downside would be the packaging, I would prefer it to be in a stand alone container, rather than having to open the plastic pack to get to the shadow.

I love this eyeshadow!!! Its a gorgeous light shimmery gray. The texture and pigmentation are amazing and it really makes my dark blue deep set eyes pop! This color is very versitile but looks amazing as an all over color with a shimmery white in the inner corner of the eye (just like i wore it today). Overall, i really recomend getting this eyeshadow.

I am a Stila shadow junkie anyways,so thought I'd try this. I have brown hair and brown eyes. I thought this would be greyer, but it looks to me like a silvery taupe (not sure why they named it Cloud?? Not a very nice day if the clouds are this color, lol)
I really like it. I think it will be a go-to base color like Kitten and Starlight- when I want something a little darker than those colors. Of course, the packaging sux, which is why just 4 lippies....
I've worn it by itself with brown eyeliner and with blue eyeliner, and it looks good with both. I'm sure most of my crease shadows (Barefoot Contessa, Smog (UD), etc) will look good with this. All my Stila shadows last forever but eventually I will repurchase!!

Love this shadow. Lovely soft texture that applies smoothly and easily. The colour works great for me as an all over shade with a just a quick swipe of eyeliner. Staying power is good. Packaging is all that lets it down (and I do think it's shocking that Stila expect their customers to pay extra for packaging, particularly since they're products are not exactly cheap), however I've rated it a 5 anyway since I bought it at a reduced price and I like it so much.

I've owned Stila Cloud for years, and rarely wear it. It's extremely cool toned. It's a very pretty shimmery silver; however it's way too cool toned for me. It doesn't look very natural or flattering on me. I'm sure this would be beautiful on certain skin tones.

Stila Cloud is absolutely gorgeous in the pan and on the eye. This shade is one I think everyone should own. I have zillions of shadows, but I can honestly say I don't have anything simliarl to this.
Cloud is a pale silvery taupe with a slight beige tone to it. This shade is mindless and one I think goes with just about anything. I like pairing this with a deeper matte charcoal or black shadow. The color payoff and pigmentation of this is mind-blowing for Stila. It's super soft/silky and applies like a dream. My only complaint with Stila shadows is that even with a base, this seems to fade by the end of the day. Overall though, a shade that i love and reach for often!

I use this eyeshadow every single day. I didn't want to buy it at first because I hate stila's packaging, but I am so glad I did. I also realized that you get almost twice as much product with a stila pan than with Urban Decay for a few dollars more, so at the end of the day it's not that bad. People have described the color as a gray/silver but to me it looks like a light purple/silver. I use it mainly as a base or lid color. It's nice and shimmery, but not out of control. Like I'm pretty sure it would be more than okay to wear to most offices. Also, I wear Too Faced Shadow Insurance before applying any shadow. I can't speak for the staying power alone, but with the Shadow Insurance it lasts all day!

This color looks so plain in the pan, but when you put it on it is like magic! It looks so beautiful! I have had a really hard time finding that perfect all-over color that I can wear every day with a bit of winged black liner to look natural but put together, and let me tell you, this is it! I wear this almost every day with a nude lip and it looks so natural but pretty. It is a silvery taupe color which is great for girls with cool coloring, but I think even the warm girls would look good in it. I've worn it with MAC's naked lunch which looked nice. It also looks great with carbon.

This is a new favorite. I've uploaded an EOTD using this on the lid as a wash that can be viewed on the upper right part of the review.
This doesn't look all that exciting in the pan - it looks pretty, just not exciting. The really cool thing about this shadow is it tends to pick up different colors depending on what you pair it with. It looks more silvery gray with Diamond Lil and more silvery beige with Puck.
This is gorgeous and shimmery but not crazy frost like kitten or some of their others. The texture is very soft - so soft in fact you may have to deal with some fallout. But, it sweeps right off so no worries.

This is a gorgeous color, not really gray and not really silver, but kind of a cool silvery taupe. It's perfect for a wash, and it's not as super-shimmery as some of the Stilas I can't abide, like Kitten--instead it just seems to glow. In tonality, it reminds me a bit of Bobbi Brown Sand Dollar or even UD Mauie Wowie--not as green as that, but the same kind of neutral glow, minus the glitter. Love it!

This colour is so pretty! It does seem to change colours i agree!! My favourite is using this colour on the inner corner of the eyes with Cargo "yukon" on the lid and MAC Satin Taupe or Earthly riches (brown shade) in the crease. Gorgeous sexy look. The quality of this e/s is amazing! It's soo velvety and buttery smooth! My rant is the packaging. It doesn't come in any! Just the pan. I find that if you're paying $20some odd for an e/s it should at least come with a decent container! I put my into an empty Anna Sui e/s pot - problem solved. However, I am not one to buy enough e/s from the same brand to fill a tray, so they really should create a better packaging IMO.

It's so funny how cloud comes out differently on everyone. I must say this though, don't buy it purely because of pics you see online, go and swatch it for yourself! I swear it comes out different on everyone!
I'm honestly trying to find the taupe in this (as others have mentioned), or anything that even REMOTELY resembles what it looks like in the pan. In the pan, it's sort of a pinky-grey-apricot colour, yet for some reason, when swatched on my hand it's a shimmery white, then once on my eyes, it's a silvery blue! It's amazing! This is the only shadow i have that changes colour... so yes you should get this because this equates to five or six colours LOL.
Jokes and colour aside, whatever colour it is, it's always very pretty. And the formulation is AMAZING. It's my first Stila product after a long string of MAC and I have to say i'm super impressed. A MAC eyeshadow is, 1.5g and $32 AUD, when a Stila shadow is 2.3g and just six dollars more expensive! And it's so ridiculousy soft and buttery and RIDICULOUSLY pigmented.. it's amazing!

I have been looking for a comparable color in an eye shadow to MAC's shimma (a silvery taupe) paint for a long time, and Stila's Cloud comes very close. I cannot count how many times I've picked it up in Sephora and Ulta to buy, but then decided not to. I finally bought it, and I'm so glad I did! It looks great with my hazel eyes, blonde hair, and with my warm coloring (I'm an NC25 in MAC). Anything silvery on my lids usually makes the hazel color of my eyes stand out. I disagree with those who say this is too shimmery in a professional environment. I am a professional woman and feel the texture and color of this shadow is work-appropriate. But what's up with the container this comes in (plastic container)? Weird. I didn't even know it is supposed to be put in a shadow pot (sold separately). I just use it as is, in the refillable plastic container. It is a very soft shadow that is easy to apply. I will definitely repurchase. I am sorry I bypassed this shadow for so long. I agree with those who say it looks good with greys or browns in the crease.

This is the only eyeshadow that I have every worn that my friends and work colleagues have complemented and wanted to know where I had purchased it. It is a very flattering colour for anyone who has very fair skin and blue eyes. The bonus is it tends to last all day as well.
i have checked with Stila on 29/1/09 and they are not discontinuing Cloud eyeshadow which is very good news.
