I have been desperately searching for a mascara that would not only volumize, but lengthen my short, volume-less eyelashes. I was walking around Sephora when this Stila mascara caught my eye. I bought it (a little expensive, but totally worth it) and it made my eyelashes full and long without making them clump. Although I loved this product, I thought I might be able to find a mascara that did the same thing but had a cheaper price. I switched to Lash Blast, but it did not have the same effect as Stila had. Lash blast was much too thick and made my lashes clump and did not give them the length that Stila did. I threw out Lash Blast and I have been using Stila for my everyday makeup ever since. I love it so much; the packaging is great, it works so well, and the price may be slightly high, but you definitely get what you pay for. I will never switch mascara again <3 <3 <3

Whoever thought negatively about Stila's mascara should definitely reconsider their opinion after they try Stila's new mascaras. They have definitely improved a lot. I heard about a new mascara coming out call "glamour eyes mascara" and was lucky enough to sample it. It is simply A-MA-ZING! I need help in the length, volume, and quantity department when it comes to my eyelashes and this new one really does the trick. I saw an instant difference when I applied it.

Okay, this mascara came in the sephora sampler and I also got a free full size one with some value pack (blanking on the name). There is a reason this is always a freebie! This is really terrible; no lengthening, no volumizing, nothing. Either Stila has to reformulate this mascara or get out of the mascara business. Even the sephora brand mascara did more (and it had its own issues). If you are a stila girl/woman and feel the need to try this mascara, please get it free, if possible. Then you cannot be disappointed that you could've use your money more wisely.

Ugh, this mascara totally sucks!
It flaked and by the end of the day I had dark circles under my eyes from the smudge of mascara flakes. Gross. What a waste of money.

This was my first Stila product. It is way too clumpy. I do not recommend it.

It works but....sadly its not worth. Clumps and flakes....and don't even TRY to get it off. It did make my lashes look good but there is something not right about the formula. Lots of mascaras can make your eyelashes look good but they don't have to be so clumpy and such a pain to remove, even with eye makeup remover.

Horrible! This stuff clumps and flakes like nobody's business.
I just bought new contacts and was convinced there was something wrong with them b/c they were so freakin' blurry. Then I realized they only got blurry after applying my Stila mascara. Lo and behold, I switched mascaras and my contacts are fine.
Crummy, overpriced product. I generally like Stila, but this stuff is horrid.

I took a chance on the Stila mascara because I like all of the other Stila products I've tried. However, this mascara is difficult to apply, clumps, and makes my eyelashes brittle. I doubt that I purchase this product again.

I got this for a great price on ebay, so I gave it a try despite all the bad reviews. I found it was 'okay' for the first week or so. It gave me descently thicker lashes, and a bit of extra length. I don't what happened, but it seemed to dry out into the second week. As it got dryer, my lashes looked so short and stubby! I tried to use it up as best I could, but it really wasn't doing all that much for me. I would never pay full price for this one.

Really does extend my lashes but I have to be really careful applying. Clumps too easily. It clumps on the applicator!
I like the extension it gave me and am too cheap to just get rid of this. So I use this as the base and then apply Urban Decay's Lingerie and Galoshes on over to seal.
Overall, I'll probably continue searching for my HG in mascaras.

I never bought this product (thank goodness!)but while getting a makeover at Sephora from a Stila consultant, of course this is the mascara she used. After 1 minute my lashes were HARD and CRUSTY and STUCK TOGETHER :( I give credit where its due, but this product sucks!

I guess I'm in the minority here, but I love this mascara. Maybe it's because the only other brand I've ever tried is Maybelline Great Lash (didn't like at all), but it really works well for me. Doesn't clump, doesn't smudge, 2 coats makes my eyes really stand out, one coat is enough for office wear. Easy to remove with clinique eye make up remover (the blue stuff). I like the silver tube, price is okay, and I'd definitely buy again.
Oh - forgot to add - I do wipe it off with a tissue before use, maybe that is why it doesn't clump for me. I still get a lot of pigment, even after tissueing (?) it!

I got this in a swap. I'd never tried Stila anything before, so I am really trying to not judge the whole product line based on this. It has a nice, long plushy brush (which I love), and when you apply only 1 thin layer, it works much like my belove 2000 calorie. But when you apply the second coat, all hell breaks loose. It clumps, it coagulates, it smears, it flakes, it smudges. Sigh. I'm so glad I didn't waste my money on this. I'll stick to my Max Factor.

i dont like this mascara at all and wasted my money. clumps at the end and clumps on the lashes. yucky! only thing going for it is that it leaves lashes soft.
Age: 25-29 Skin: Combination Hair: Black Eyes: Brown
Stila mascara is ok. I did not buy this, I got the mini mascaras as a gwp and in the red carpet set. It is ok but it doesn't do much for my eyelashes. I have long eyelashes but I like to wear mascara so they will curl. This doesn't make my eyelashes curl. They just look the same but with mascara.
Age: 19-24 Skin: Dry, Fair Hair: Black Eyes: Brown
This is the worst mascara I've ever used. It clumps. It's so heavy that it weights my lashes down so much I almost cry. It also smudge around and give me panda eyes. Don't get this.
Age: 25-29 Skin: Normal Hair: Blond Eyes: Blue
Yuck yuck yuck. I'm talking about the Stila Sport mascara. I quite like brown anyway, but they only had this in Black. I'd heard quite good things about it but it made my lashes all clumpy and nasty. Wouldn't bother with this one when you can get Maybelling Full & Soft for about £6!
Age: 19-24 Skin: Combination Hair: Black Eyes: Brown
This mascara didn't impress me at all. Sure, it didn't weigh down my lashes, but it also didn't hold the curl. I actually ended up returning this to Sephora.
Age: 30-35 Skin: Acne-prone, Olive Hair: Brunette Eyes: Brown
I dont hate this mascara but I don't love it either. its just a plain mascara that adds a teeny amount of length and darkness to my lashes. More like a tinted lash darkener v. mascara. I prefer a curling thickening formula so i would not repurchase.

So far Stila has amazed me so many times but this one SUCKED! The packaging is very plain and simple which is something I like but the mascara itself was so clumpy on my lashes and when I took out the mascara brush , there was so much leftover of mascara which I had to wipe all off. I gave this an extra lippie for the packaging only.
This is a total waste of money because I am wiping more than I use.
Sighs. this is something I am going to throw into the bin!!!!!
Get this outta my sight!
