When at home, I prefer to use a regular cleanser. Cream of foam, depends on the season. These are a great option for travel. I do find that if I wear both sunscreen & foundation, I have to use 2 to cleanse thouroughly. Since I always follow with a toner, the residue is not realy an issue. These are nice & non drying. I would not repurchase simply because Olay is owned by Procter & Gamble. Animal testing is a big no no for me & I didn't know at the time of purchase.

I really like these cloths. I have skin that tends towards oily, with big-ish pores (in my opinion). When cleansing my face, I prefer something that lathers. I also prefer to remove all of my makeup, including eye makeup, and cleanse all at one and the same time. Before I discovered Olay cloths, I was cleansing with a bar of NARS facial soap. I would wet the bar and then rub the wet bar with a washcloth, and then cleanse my face. DH was like "where are all our washcloths going?". I got some of the Olay Daily Facials Cloths, and also these. I really like having a clean, fresh cloth every day. One cloth is enough get wash off all my makeup--eyeliner, shadow, mascara, even Ben Nye cream foundation. I like both the DF cloths and the TE cloths, although it seems to me that DF cloths are easier to find. I have found the TE cloths only at Ulta, and they seem to stay very low in stock; it seems I am always buying the one and only pack on the shelf! Also, I have never seen the DF or TE cloths in the tub---I have only ever been able to buy the refill packs. I haven't had any irritation, redness, sensitivity, or breakouts from the cloths (both the TE & DF). I noticed though, that with the TE cloths, my skin feels really sensitive when I wax, so there is some retinol ingredient in this. These cloths are so travel-friendly too---i just put a few in a zip-loc baggie and toss it into my travel bag. I think between the TE and the DF cloths, I prefer the DF, but only because the DF is more readily available. I have already repurchased both cloths.

I am pleasantly surprised by these. I chose these as my free reward at Ulta. I didn't realize I was just getting the refill pkg...:) I have used 3x now in 3 different ways:

1. to wipe off my face after massaging in my oil blend (grapeseed, sweet almond and vitamin E). Wet the cloth to activate the lather, wipe in circular motion all over face to break up the oil, then massaged in w/ clarisonic and rinsed off.

2. wet cloth to activate lather, apply in circular motion all over face, use clarisonic and rinse off.

3. same as #2, but not using clarisonic, just rinsed off

all 3 ways worked well. I did use toner after each method = cotton pad was clean :)

I don't like using a washcloth to wipe off my oil, so I usually use the cheapest, non exfoliating cleansing cloths to remove (currently using Equate = love as well, but they don't remove all my mu alone)

I could easily see keeping a supply of these on hand for those nites when I'm too lazy to use oil as this effectively broke up and removed all my mu including my waterproof mascara!

The Oil of Olay Total Effects Cleansing Cloths are my HG cleanser and have been for some time. I keep coming back to this product. My skin looks better and has fewer breakouts when I use it. I have delicate skin that tends towards oily, and I frequently get cosmetic related break outs. My pores enlarge and are very visible so I'm always looking for products that help this without aggrivating my skin. I get clogged pores very easily and this product seems to help me fight that, and leaves my skin feeling clean without being over-dry.

As I've gotten older my skin texture has gotten slightly more rough, but when I use these regularly the texture of my skin seems improved. I also love how travel friendly they are. I've been using these on and off for several years now, and every time I come back to them because I haven't found any other cleanser that works as well.

This review is for Olay Total Effects Age Defying Cleansing Cloths. I prefer cleansing cloths because my skin looks best with some mild daily exfoliating, but this one is a little too drying for my normal to dry skin now. The Sensitive Skin version is perfect for me, but try these if you are oilier.

I did like the cleansing cloths. They left my face smooth, hydrated, and even exfoliated. My only issue with the cleansing cloths is that I have to follow-up with wiping my face with a clean, damp washcloth. For some reason, I never truly feel like all of the cleanser is off of my face. Other than that, you should try it.

Effective and gentle form of exfoliation. I cut mine into quarters and use only one-quarter at night before bed. I actually prefer foaming cream cleansers, but this is a worthwhile alternative.

My sister and I love these. They make my skin look smooth and polished after I use them and they provide the perfect amount of exfoliation. I really like them.
