For several years, I would use Suave lotions. Loved all the scents they have, but when I purchased a new bottle of Suave last month, I started to break out in hives if I was to sweat a little. It was bad. I thought they must of changed the formula or something isn't agreeing with me anymore, so I bought a bottle of this. I admit, it's not the creamiest lotion and in the dead of winter, I must add a little grapeseed oil for my legs. Otherwise, this is very good for the rest of my body. It isn't greasy and sinks in very well. Slight cocoa butter smell, doesn't bother me at all.
I have to admit, the bottle is a hassle, trying to hold the huge bottle and apply at the same time. I had an empty bottle of the 32 oz. Purity Face wash with the pump on it, and I put the pump from the Purity bottle on the lotion bottle and it fits great. Now I can pump the lotion out.

You get alot of product for your money here. The lotion is light, non greasy, and absorbs quickly into the skin. It smells slightly of "cocoa", but the scent, much like the lotion, is not rich at all. I don't get all that hydrated from using this product, so I wouldn't recommend this for treating dry skin. I still have SO much of this product left as I don't reach for it often. It's nice, but not great and I don't love it.

I absolutely love this lotion. I bought it for the first time about a week ago after having seen it on the shelves my entire life and never tried it. It's inexpensive, smells AMAZING and absorbs quickly. The only thing I wish was different was I wish it had a pump on the big bottle. Not a big deal though! The smell is very summer-y, smells like I've been on a tropical beach tanning all day. And it absorbs fast, not greasy, not thick. I was my hands A LOT during the day, and am constantly doing dishes, so my hands are usually red, dry, and flaky; but as soon as I put on some of this lotion my hands look and feel nice and soft. I recommend this to everyone. It's affordable and has been around forever, and i'm sure will continue to be, so no more having to switch lotions that get discontinued or get too pricey.

I have such dry skin, and most lotions I've used make my skin feel great for a few hours, then it's back to the dryness. This is the only lotion I've ever used that keeps my skin smooth and soft for the whole day! I love the smell too! I just wish it came in a pump, application would be a bit easier. But I will definitely keep buying this! It was relatively cheap too.

I'm a lotion collector, it seems. I buy lots of lotion.
I really like this lotion as an everyday lotion and here is why:
* It's cheap. I paid like $2, maybe $3 for a 32 oz bottle months ago, and I still have plenty left.
*It's light, both in fragrance and texture (I guess is the word). This is a pro and con. The con is you really can't use it on really dry spots. You need a thicker lotion for that. (Fortunately, I keep many different kinds of lotion) But for places that just need upkeep, not heavy moisture, it's wonderful. And it smells great. Reminds me of summer and sun.

Unfortunately, this just doesn't cut it as a hand lotion for me. I wash my hands a lot, so I need something that's going to last. I feel like I have to apply this every hour, and my hands seem to be even dryer than when I'm not using anything at all. Plus it smells quite plasticky.

So I almost forgot about this stuff...Until tonight when I was taking a shower at my Mother-in-Laws house and forgot to pack any lotion. I used this on my face for the first time and am so glad I did! This is the first face lotion that absorbed quickly (I only used a dime-nickel sized amount) and left my skin both baby-soft and not a bit greasy. I have been searching for a non-greasy face cream for years. Yes, Neutrogena Radiance cream does leave my skin a little softer but it's too pricy and greasy. I haven't used this stuff since my high school days, and back then I never used moisturizer. However, that started to feel wrong to me and somehow was developing a few faint stretch marks on my hips, so I grabbed my mom's bottle because she said it helped with stretch marks and rubbed 1 layer all the way into my skin, let it absorb, then very thickly slathered on a thick layer all over my body which was NOT supposed to absorb completely until the next morning. I pulled on cheap all cotton sweatpant and sweatshirt with thick cotton socks (Hanes brand makes perfect sweats- $5 a pair at wal-mart, should be tight in the ankles) and yes, it felt greasy and gross but I swear I woke up with skin so soft it didn't feel like my own, it glowed! Plus, after doing this for a week or two my stretch marks did go away. Flash forward to the present day and after 2 kids and a tiger's worth of stretch marks I don't believe they are going to go away but I am going to try my old method again once I pick up a new bottle and some sweats to wear to bed. Another thing I really love is that the packaging hasn't changed. It really takes me back to those days when my mom was still around-I hope they never change it because it is so comforting! I've tried a hundred or so different lotions over the years, but I am def. coming back to this. I will update results with long-term use! :D

This lotion didn't work for me. It's nice and thick and creamy going on and it's a good value, but my it made the skin on my body dry out and flake and made me itch like crazy. I've never had a reaction like this to a body lotion. Will not repurchase.

I really like this and its not thick which makes it easy to apply like "butter" lol. I use on my face and it keeps it moisturized. Would buy again

I actually use this for my hair.. I was hoping to use this as a moisturizer, when i first applied it to my hands it made my skin so soft! Then i applied it to my face after a while from when i applied it to my hands they felt so dry like i never even applied product! AND it broke me out.. D:
I was kinda sad at first but then i went back on here to read reviews to see how this even got 4.1 lippies and saw one that said to use it for your hair. IT WORKS SO WELL FOR HAIR!
Pros:
+Keeps my hairstyle in place ALL day
+Comes with a lot of product ~ 32oz
+Dirt cheap ~ under $3
+Smell doesn't really bother me
Cons:
-Sucks for skin ~ broke me out

I will definitely repurchase again, for my hair of course (: It's worth a try.

Skin saver! I have combination skin and live in Las Vegas where the air is extremely dry, so when I went to Africa I thought it would actually benefit my skin considering it's pretty humid out here ...WRONG! For some reason the air dried the sh*t out of my face to the point where the corners of my lips were cracked, face was constantly red, and my skin was PEELING off constantly. Ouch!

I brought a Eucarin facial moisturizer out with me and started applying it to my face but it just burned and went back to drying out a couple hours later. So, I went to our local shop of sorts looking for a better solution. We don't have much of a selection at all but I wanted something thicker so I picked this up. Seeing as I'm acne prone I still wanted to apply my toner along with this lotion at night to see if it'd do my skin any good.

Yeah, the smell is kinda weird, but it doesn't bother me that much. After cleansing my face and applying toner I rubbed this in as well. It burned a little bit but went away pretty quickly. 3 days later and my skin is doing SO much better! It didn't get rid of the cracked lips (I slather on Carmex every night now lol) but it saved my face! It's not as red anymore, I wake up with nice soft almost glowing skin, and it feels like my skin is healing a lot faster than it was before I started using this. My skin still peels by the end of the day but that can't really be helped because this damn country's air just sucks haha.

I don't apply this during the day, just at night as a revival of some sorts.

Anyways, long story short, great product for cheap price- can't beat that :)

I really like this lotion...it's very inexpensive but effective. Some reviewers said it smells like plastic, but I haven't noticed anything like that. When you rub it in, it seems to be a good, light scent. Sometimes, I will admit you have to put on an extra layer if you are particularly dry, but for the money I don't think that you can beat it. I say give it a try because you won't spend more than a couple of bucks on it, and see if it works for you.

I used this stuff for tanning, and it made my skin a very deep dark color, and also moisturized it to where my dry skin was gone. It makes my skin very soft. The only bad thing about this product is the odd smell, but it goes away after a couple minutes. I love to use this on my hair! it makes it grow faster, and also makes it volumized and hydrated! i put it everywhere on my body! its great. and affordable!

Really did not like this lotion, mainly because of the smell. Did not smell like cocoa or coconuts or anything of the sort. smelled plasticy and bad and i immediately covered it up with my favorite bliss lotion. i do not recommend this at all.

I have used this for a while and hate it.... I can put it on and my skin looks nice and glows and then 10 mins latter my skin is dryer and flake more than before I put it on. Vaseline cocoa butter does a better job and it has Shea butter!!!!

I love cocoa butter, but I really don't like this lotion. On the plus side, it is very moisturizing. I just can not stand the scent for some reason, it doesn't smell like my other cocoa butter products and reminds me of an old lady or something. I also think it is a little greasy but not too bad.

I love this lotion. It makes my skin soft, smells great, and is inexspensive. I have extremely dry and extremely sensitive skin. I usually use unscented lotions like Aveeno Active Naturals (for me and baby) but its a little expensive and everuone uses it so I tried this because I'm a fan of many other Queen Helene products. I tried it and love it. Its gentle enough I use it as my daily facial moisturizer. The scent and ingredients do not bother my skin. As a body lotion its great because it does make my skin really soft. I love it!

I must say, this is the BEST moisturizer I have ever tried. I have a problem with red, flaky, and dry skin on my hands. This did not irritate my hands nor did it make it itch like some lotions do. My mom actually bought this at Target for me and herself. The smell is ok but you get used to it. This is my favorite. My second favorite are the Bodycology Body Creams. When I go to college in New York I hope I can find it there because this is my holy grail product.

EDIT: I wish the packaging was a little more attractive but it's ultimately the product that counts.

This is my favorite lotion to use on my hands & body. It moisturizes my skin so perfectly and it doesn't leave your skin feeling sticky and oily like some body moisturizers tend to leave. I would not use this on my face though. The smell of it isn't very great but you kind of get used to it after a while. It's really cheap too so it won't hurt to try it :)
UPDATE: I actually started to notice that after a while of applying this lotion, my skin would feel dry again a couple hours after. I found myself having to apply it constantly. totally switching moisturizers.

This stuff really helps dry skin! It says that you cann put it on your face, my mum does, but I don't because I have bad acne :( but it's a great body moisturizer! I like the smell, but sometimes it is a little too potent for me and gives me a tummy ache
