Skin type= asian, sensitive, prone to breakout on some occasions, some old scars.
I bought this in Japan. Well... I am quite a fan of Kose. But I don't know quite how to describe this product. I use it mainly as a sunscreen. The function should be ok because I didn't get any darker on the face. But after putting it, the face looks greasy and need at least one layer of loose powder to get the matte look again. It also has very strong herbal-ish smell, so beware.
I seriously love the pump, though. It is so elegant and easy. Most of the cheaper sunscreen comes in tube and difficult to measure the output.
Like a lot of the Kose products I am using, I am glad this sunscreen doesn't cause any "extra" problem on my sensitive skin. By far, this is the only one with highest SPF that my face can tolerate. My sensitive skin is very picky when it comes to sunscreen and prone to scaling if the sunscreen doesn't suit me (even on the whole body). My derma said I should avoid high SPF sunscreen.
On a vain note, it is good because it doesn't give a white cast like some other sunscreen.
I am not sure if I will repurchase this but for the time being, I will say yes. It does the job as a sunscreen and didn't cause extra problems for me.

I bought the travel-sized version to try and I don't think I'll be getting the full retail sized anytime soon. Texture wise, it's ok. Not too greasy and is quickly absorbed into the skin. Problem is the low SPF factor and the high price. Think my Kiss Me sunscreen can have much better results at 10% of the price.

hear lots of reave about Kose Sekkisi product.. did nothing to my skin. a bit oily and cause me to have slight rashes..
Sales gal told me it can back up as makeup base, but the alchol smell was too strong for my delicate skin
Age: 19-24 Skin: Acne-prone Hair: Black Eyes: Black
Good moisturizer and a very good sunscreen. I don't like the smell, but I can tolerate it. After I finish it, I will look for something else.
Age: 25-29 Skin: Combination Hair: Black Eyes: Brown
Probably the best sunscreen I've ever tried. It's not oily and makes a great make up base. Usually, when using other products my compact powder won't stick to my face and they got all so sticky. Way to go Kose!
Age: 19-24 Skin: Combination Hair: Brown Eyes: Brown
Merits: SPF25 and PA++. gives more than adequate sun protection. and has whitening effect, though I don't really see the effect on my skin yet. Probably because I'm not on an entire whitening regime.
Shortcomings:Find it slightly greasy.
If you have slightly dry skin, probably you would like it.

I have oily but dehydrated skin that breaks out.
This isn't the best sunscreen on the market, but it does the job. It's got SPF25 and PA+ which means it protects against both UVA and UVB
The texture is quite stickly and greasy. It absorbs quite fast but leaves a greasy film on my skin for at least an hour. But this is the least greasy sunscreen that I've found so far.
I only use this if I'm going out while the sun is up and use it along with other products in the Sekkiei range so I'm not sure if the visible whitening of my skin is due to this product only.

Dont like this. this is kinda glue-y, think it mayb clogging pores too. didnt even my skintone or helped my pigmentation. not all that moistursing, yet abit sticky. wat a waste of money.
Age: 25-29 Skin: Oily Hair: Black Eyes: Brown
This is an okay product, but I don't think the SPF works very well. I'm getting weird eye-glasses tan lines on my face (in the Fall!) and I've never had that problem before with DDF products of equal sunscreen level. Also, not sure if there is much of a whitening effect... Other than that, it's an okay moisturizer.
Age: 30-35 Skin: Normal, Fair Hair: Brown Eyes: Brown
A great moisturiser and sunblock. Although it's sticky on my palm, but on my face it feels great and not greasy at all. It's light and absorbs easily and it's great as a makeup base.
Age: 25-29 Skin: Combination, Medium Hair: Brown Eyes: Brown
I really like the texture of this - very light and easily absorbed into the skin without the sticky or greasy feel that some moisturisers with sunscreen have. However, this has only got PA+, which is just not sufficient as a sunscreen. If it had PA+++, this would just be perfect.
Age: 25-29 Skin: Other Hair: Brown Eyes: Brown
This is very hydrating and good as a makeup base and sunblock. With its all in one function, this has really won hands down as my favorite day moisturizer.
Age: 25-29 Skin: Combination Hair: Black Eyes: Black
oh. its greasy. i dont like that and i wont buy it again.
but, if u put foundation. its better.

This is the latest creation by Kose.
It is much lighter than the cream and the milk, provides sunscreen effect. It can be used as make up primer. However, I think it is more suitable for winter.
The best thing is it provides same effect as the lotion essence. But personally, I like Shiseido more and Shiseido works on me better. Thus, I won't repurchase this item.
Generally speaking, this daily essence is nice and if you adore Kose, this is definitely another must-buy!
