This is my current holy grail moisturiser! I bought this on December, and it still lasts for another 1 month. I was in the supermarket looking for some shaving creams at the time, but it turned out buying this, since i just had Olay Natural White rich cream, and the packaging wasnt that travel friendly. I brought this with me on vacation, and this lotion is just amazing! It is very lightweight, soothing, watery texture...and it gives me more fresher look. It doesnt break me out, and slowing my skin down in producing oil, because it is not greasy at all. Just a clean and fresh feeling. I always use this before i go to school and before applying foundation, it works well on my skin! It never causes any pimples, redness, or dry patches all over my face. This product is very economical, since i have been using this for 4 months and the price is just dirt cheap. The packaging is very small and cute (i have the 30ml lotion). But the biggest cons are.....It doenst have any SPF or UV protection, and dry skinned people cant use this. Overall, this is the best.

I have the sensitive skin version of this. Fragrance and color free. I love it. It is so gentle and effective. Its a perfect basic face lotion. I dont remember what i paid, but i know it under 10 dollars.

Lovely moisturiser! I don't use it anymore because I have such sensitive skin, but back in the day I remember how nice it was. And the smell ^__^ Yay!

I cannot live without this moisteriser. I first used this when I was 9, I had dry skin that gave me rashes and my mum (a firm believer in Olay - she had used it for 30 years!!!!!!!!) applied a little on my skin - it pretty much cured my skin! Back then it used to be called Oil of Ulan. In the 11 years that I have been using this product, I have not been able to think of anything bad about it. It is extremely cheap too. Other moisterisers are too heavy, or are loaded with unnecessary ingredients that are harmful. Olay is readily available, cheap, amazing. Words cannot describe how much I love this product.

Well I have this in the lotion and cream form and I love both. When I have mornings when I just can't see putting on a full face of makeup I use a couple of dallops of the lotion on my face and neck and voila! I litterally feel gorgeous and all I put on is some mascara if I want and gloss and I'm confident enough to walk out the door. At my age this a miracle because for a while I didn't think I could leave my house anymore without full makeup. My skin feels silky smooth ALL DAY. On top of that it looks more even toned and more firmed. the cream also is fantastic especially under makeup. I have very dry skin and need lots of moisture to feel confident. this gives me a radiant face with no makeup. Its non-greasy and absorbs fully and I like the smell because my mom used to always smell like this when I hugged her as a child. Bottom line one of the most basic and effective moisturzers on the market today in my opinion.

I really do like this as a moisturizer. It makes my skin fell really nice and soft, and it dries to a kind of powder finish. The only complaint I have about this is the smell. I find it to be too strong, and i can smell it on my face all day. It's not necessarily a bad smell, but it's not one that I want on my face. If I wanted that, I'd spray perfume on myself. It kind of smells like my grandmother when I think about it. The moisturizer is good, and I would probably repurchase this, but in the sensitive form so that it's non-scented.

I have been wearing Olay's classic lotion for 18 years. It is the most reliable facial product in my bathroom cabinet. It was suitable for my oily teenage skin and it still moisturises my mid-thirties combination-dry skin. I sometimes even use it in place of an eye cream in the winter when I want something thicker and more hydrating around my eyes. I've used Creme de la Mer, that yellow stuff from Clinique (horrible, I think I break out from sesame oil), and DeCleor Neroli balm but Olay's classic lotion is always something I can fall back on. Also, it smells nice -- I guess these days you might say it has a powdery "retro" scent?
Here are the ingredients for this product. The list is all in capitals, sorry. I copied it from Olay's Canadian website.
WATER, GLYCERIN, CETYL PALMITATE, MINERAL OIL, PETROLATUM, CETYL ALCOHOL, GLYCERYL HYDROXYSTEARATE, STEARIC ACID, STEARETH-100, DIMETHICONE, OCTYLDODECYL MYRISTATE, FRAGRANCE, POTASSIUM HYDROXIDE, DMDM HYDANTOIN, IODOPROPYNYL BUTYLCARBAMATE, TETRASODIUM EDTA, ACRYLATES//C10-30 ALKYL ACRYLATE CROSSPOLYMER, CARBOMER, RED 4.

I bought this a few days ago and I've used it in the past, long long time ago. I forgot about it and tried other products out there that are facial moisturizers. The only problem I have with this lotion is that I wish I could use it under makeup. I find it to be a tad sticky after applying it so wearing makeup on top of it would not be so ideal, especially since I wear mineral foundation so it would like caked on. It seems to moisturize quite well and the scent isn't too strong either. If only it could be used as a day cream then it would be perfect! Even though I do not put lotion IN my eye, my eye gets a bit irritated after I apply it. After a minute, it's alright. Other than those two issues, this cream is quite nice and does its job well.

i use the fluid version of this, not the creme on in a jar and it works great for me. i've been using it since i was in elementary school. my face has always been dry on my cheeks and this lotion was great. back then i didn't have any trouble with acne though. now i'm a teenager and this is great because it doesn't break me out. i like using this all over at nighttime and on my cheeks during the day.

HG!!!! this is the only thing that helps my super dehydrated skin! i am on an acne cream called tazorac and i also do micro for my scars and my skin is left peeling and super dry and flakes off during the winter months. like major flaking. i cant even apply foundation which is a MUST for me without my makeup flaking and balling up. this is the only moisturizer that helps my dehydrated dry flaky skin. i love this and the clarins hydraquench moist for dry skin.

At first i really liked this moisturizer, it worked well and did it's job. But after about a month of using it, i found that i began forming dry spots and this wasnt able to get rid of them. It also began to break me out. I thought this might be a change in diet or something and gave it a chance, unfortunately it was the cream because after 3 days of not using it my skin reverted to it's usual state.

I use this moisturizer every night before I go to bed & wake up with soft looking skin. I love the smell of this & how through out the night my skin does not get oily. I have really oily skin so I was scared to try this since it was soooo expensive (but Walmart has sales every 2-3 months for this) so I thought I would give it a try, thank god I did. Best moisturizer at night for oily skin! (can use it during the day during winter months like jan-feb when its not sunny & helps with that winter dry skin!)

So I started using this product Years ago, and while I've tried new moisturizers I think I will always go back to this one. This stuff has been around for years and my grandma actually used it and she said it's comparable to biotherm and it's a fraction of the price. I have dry skin and it gives me the nourishment I need. I used a cleansing product for a while that did some major damage to my skin, this product has almost got it all cleared up. I think I'll always keep a jar of this on hand because it's a staple and extremely nourishing, but I'm now at a point where I realize with my skin I need some spf, and I'm going to need to start using a night cream, but I have decided to look in the Olay classics area because this product has served me so well over the years.

For some reason I'm really liking this one as oppose to the complete for combination/oily skin. I was using that and after a little while, would look greasy. I have really oily skin and this one works better for me. I feel like you can't go wrong with a classic. There's a reason it's been around for long. I've tried higher end products and they did nothing special for the price. I prefer this because it's cheap and really does what it's supposed to do, moisturize! I love it, my new HG.

My mother keeps telling me to get this product after I run out of my current A'kin one. My mother also told me that back in the Philippines she would always buy this moisturiser for grandma and indeed grandma's skin was quite soft.
It is basic, convenient and cheap. It is small enough to fit in anywhere in my bag. It's not greasy and it absorbs instantly and I didn't even notice the smell. 150ml is good amount and for a good cost. I don't need to use much; just about one or two dollops and it spreads evenly on to my face and neck. I use this product after waking up in the morning and just before going to bed at night.

Oil of Olay is a nostalgia item for me, too. My grandmother used this (and witch hazel as a toner) and she had beautiful skin up to the day she died. I like the lightness of Oil of Olay. It's a good all purpose moisturizer that I use when I'm just staying home and not wearing makeup. It keeps my skin hydrated and soft. I wouldn't expect much from it in harsh winter conditions but, as someone mentioned, it's a good sheer summer moisturizer. My skin is somewhat sensitive, and I do use it around my eyes and I have had no problem. I don't put it *in* my eyes, (duh), rather just dab around eye area a bit, and use it all over my face. I enjoy the scent - I think it smells old fashioned, of violets - and it brings back memories. Scent is a subjective thing anyway. I use a different moisturizer/primer under makeup, but I like having Oil of Olay on hand as a no-brainer for a naked face.
