When I first used it, I absolutely loved it! My skin felt so clean and soft, not too tight or dry.

After almost a year of using it, I noticed that my skin felt tight and looked little dull but not dry. My esthetician told me that my skin is too dehydrated and she wanted me to stop using it. I didn't use for almost two months and I began to feel that my skin improved a lot. Her opinion about this product that it is too harsh because of dual action - cleanser and exfoliator. She mentioned that we aren't supposed to exfoliate our skin more than two times a week. I used this product two times a day so my skin was too over-exfoliated. I didn't give my skin a chance to heal or rebuild collagen. Now, I avoid all cleanser products that have exfoliating properties.

This is a great cleanser for combination/oily skin. I use it every morning and night. I only need one pump of foam in the morning, but about 1.5 to 2 in the evening to get all my make up off (i wear medium coverage foundation). Note - you will need to use a separate eye make up remover for your eyemake up as this shouldn't get too close to your eyes.

My skin is so much fresher, healthier and is glowing for the past week since i've been using this. I got mine from ebay much cheaper than the retail price and so would be a little reluctant to pay the full price knowing you can pick it up cheaper if you look around. It is really easy to use and does not dry my skin out. No lathering - it is already a foam! I know it's expensive, but when you considr that is cleanses AND tones then you are saving on purchasing a separate toner!

I will continue to use this until i find a cheaper alternative - but if i keep picking this up on ebay then i will be a fan for years to come!

I use this every night, and my skin is much better now than when I used the Murad acne clarifying cleanser! I use the Murad aha/bha exfoliating cleanser in the morning, love it :)

I love, love, love this stuff, but I cannot find myself paying $26 that's a bit much for a cleanser every month. I love how it makes my skin feel, squeaky clean. Feels refreshed, I really like foam and how one squirt is good enough for the face/neck. It's perfect.

If anyone knows of an alternative(pretty sure we won't find one THAT similar cuz it's patented) to this please let me know!!!

I really like this cleanser. Ive had a terrible breakout whilst using this but i think is coz ive been using the murad acne range aswell which i have stopped using now as i think it was way to harsh for my skin. I have only been using the vitalic rang for about a month now and besides my breakout its really good at removing make-up although i have to do it twice in the evening as i wear loads of make-up. It leaves skin feeling fresh and clean afterwards and doesnt make my skin dry or tight like other cleansers i have used. I love the bottle its pink and girly and the foam is really good and soothing aswell. I think its really good at cleaning skin and getting rid of dirt and impurities altho im not sure about clearing up blemishish yet ill have to use it for longer but it does seem to evan out my skin and make it look glowing.

I love this cleanser. It is somewhat expensive if you buy it full price but I found it on amazon for i think $20. It smells great-not too strong but a pleasant light pomegranate scent. It doesnt dry my skin out, it cleans all my make up off really well and has lasted a fairly long time. and it keeps my skin for the most part acne free!

Yes has great ingredients, smells more of a fake pomegranate smell than pleasing, and was my favorite of the Murad line. But as usual this was jsut one more foam cleanser than left my skin feeling tight and dehydrated unlike it's claims. I in theory love the idea of foam cleansers to use in the morning as a light and gentle quck clean yet have never came across a sinlge on that doesn't dry out your skin over time. I find this odd for my especiallly as I have normal clog prone skin, neer sensitive and never dry in my life and maybe a little oily prone in the summer. Even with that this cleanser left my skin feeling dehydrated, makes no sense, and ccan't see how so many people with sensitive skin ahve such good results. Anyhow this bombed for me and I'm officially retiring my search for ever using foam cleanser lol.

I actually bought this on a whim when my LUSH products began to give me an allergic reaction. And I must say I'm so happy that I did! I absolutely love this stuff, it's been two weeks and my skin is glowing, looks more toned and just the overall appearance is improved 100%. It's a little expensive but definitely worth it.

I like this cleanser. One pump from the foam dispenser is enough to wash your face/neck thoroughly, which means this product lasts a good while. The product rinses nice and clean. This has reduced my redness, and my skin is more even-toned and (mostly) acne-free. I used it w/ the Energizing Moisturizer, no toners or serums in between.

Granted, I haven't been using this cleanser for long enough to give a definite opinion, but if the past 3 days are any indication, overall it will be good.
I've always wanted to try out this cleanser because I love the murad pomegranate body cream- and do not hesitate to spend the big bucks on it because I know it works for me, but considering the price of this cleanser, I've always been hesitant, until I snatched a full bottle at $8 on ebay last week!
I have been using it in the morning by itself and at night as the 2nd cleanser after my dermalogica cleanser, and I please that in both instances/combinations, it works as well, and leaves my skin very very soft- which came as a surprised because I do have dry skin and from the comments here on MUA, I was expecting that it would make it drier, but lucky me, no such thing!
I love the smell of it, and the way my skin feels after using it, and my moisturizer just glides on and penatrate so quickly after this one! This is a cleanser that doesn't leave any residue or film on my skin, and providing the results I'm getting , continue, this will be a stapple for me.

This is a decent product. It does not dry out the skin and leaves the skin feeling very clean.

A nice novel cleanser. It has a fruity scent (which probably a little unnecessary) and comes out in a foam. I'd recommend it as a morning wash to freshen up as opposed to an evening wash as it doesn't do a very good job of removing all my makeup - and I don't wear very much. Great packaging.

I'm on the border about this one: on one hand I think this caused me to break out, but right now I can't even be sure. I did discontinue use because my combo skin felt extra sensitive after a week of use.
I checked the ingredients and some seemed irritating.
Smells really fruity and yummy but isn't good for sensitive skin.

This isn't a horrible product but I wasn't terribly impressed with it and I'm surprised it gets such high ratings on MUA. There aren't enough little scrubby beads in it to really exfoliate well, and I don't like the texture of the the product as a whole. It smells and feels too much like gel soap you would use on your hands, and it seems to dry me out a bit. I took the bottle on a trip with me and half the product ended up seeping out of the bottle, NOT FUN. I ended up returning this to Sephora.

i've been using this foaming cleanser at night for 2-3 years and it feels great. i don't feel like it gets off all my mineral makeup if I use it alone though. I use Dermalogica's Preclease before using this facewash to ensure all my makeup is removed.

I have dry skin, so this is a tad drying. However, I don't find that this product is any more drying than other non-creamy cleansers. If followed w/a good moisturizer, my skin is happy. I like the clean, yet not stripped feeling this cleanser imparts. I don't find this product to be "energizing," but it is effective at removing daytime grime (though I still follow-up Bioderma micellar solution on make-up days out of paranoia).
EDIT: This was more drying than I originally thought. This may be more suitable for oily or combo skin types. I'll have to stick with oil/cream based cleansers.

I probably went into this product with all the wrong expectations. My skin type is middle-of-the-road normal. The Pomegranate Cleanser, however, sucks out all of the residual oil in my skin and leaves it feeling a little dry after use. I normally don't have this problem with my regular cleanser, Reve Miele (Nuxe). It might be better suited to those with slightlier oily or combination skin -- or maybe I just need to use this in the summer, when my face is indeed oiler. OTOH, I like the packaging and the way it lathers. Smell is nice, too.

I've used various Murad products exclusively for 3 years now. The Pomegranate Cleanser is new, instant favorite. It takes a half a pump of the foam to cleanse your entire face which means it will last a long time. When you massage on your skin it turns to a gel consistency and feels unexpectedly refreshing. This is the best "not for a specific skin type" cleanser I've ever used and I'm a licensed cosmetologist and esthetician...I've tried every product out there on my clients and myself and this one is just plain amazing. It has a mild hint of pomegranate scent that refreshes your mind on contact. I look forward to washing my face in the morning or if I've been out and my skin feels dirty from environmental factors. After rinsing and patting dry, my pores are less noticeable and my skin feels toned as if I used a high quality alcohol-free toner but not dry or tight at all. I will continue to buy this product as long as they make it, it's wonderful!
