The name of this product truly does describe its scent - it's a sweet linen scent, not a fresh scent... as the "blossom" would entail. Many people complain of it being too strong, however I do not experience this problem - granted, I only own the bath gel and the scent of my body lotion covers it a bit, anyways.
It's a nice scent... powdery, soft and feminine... only purchased the large bottle for $3 so am very happy!

This smells pretty! and I plan to buy it again in the furture. I have had this lotion since January 2011 and it's almost gone! I really wore it alot durning March and April. I reach for it on most days since the weather has been warm with a cool breeze. I also really like to wear this on the weekend. I might save what little I have left for the summer since this is one of bath & body works summer scents.

Inspired by the scent of pure cotton linen blowing in the breeze, this fragrance is clean, fresh and powdery soft.

Fragrance Top Notes: Sun Dried Linen Accord, Grass, Mandarin Blossom
Fragrance Mid Notes: Jeans Accord, Peony, Cotton
Fragrance Base Notes: Musk, Baby Powder

UPDATE- August 12, 2011 - My lotion and spray are all gone! I can't wait to buy this again during the winter sale so I can wear this again in the spring of 2012!

Love this smell! I have the antibac hand lotion and I only use a tiny bit, as I find the smell can be a bit overwhelming and strong at times. But I still carry this in my purse, and get tons of compliments on how great it smells. My male coworker will occasionally steal it from my purse!

This my fave one ..I stocked them up last purchase since I was told that it was gonna be discontinued. Yeah, the smell is way strong. but it lasts all day..speaking of one who works in the kitchen :) I will try the new version which called something blossom.

I am on the fence about this scent. Sometimes it's too strong and other times it's just right. I would not purchase it again because there are many other scents out there, and I don't have to decide if I like them everytime I wear it.

I got this as a gift and almost gagged in the shower. Its way to strong and powdery. My husband wanted me to get right back in the shower and wash it off because it was making him sick too. The smell is overpowering all day too. UGH.

I think Juniper Breeze is a much lighter cleaner scent and get a lot of compliments on it.

I like cotton blossom. It is always a nice classic clean scent. I think they discontinued this one, but you can find a scent that smells exactly like it from Bath and Body Works. I believe it is called Sea Island Cotton. I can't tell the difference between Cotton Blossom and that one. They both are great and I think you will find yourself reaching for this scent on a daily basis. I know I do.

This is what I'd call a HG product for me. It's extremely clean smelling (as the other reviews reflect), and I get compliments on how nice I smell when I wear the Cotton Blossom scent.
This body wash has tons of bubbles, and I feel very clean after using it.

It's a nice smell but I don't want to smell like it. Too strongly clean, like clothes detergent or dryer sheets. Just not my thing.

Too strong for my taste...got me in the back of the throat. It does smell fresh and clean but too much so. Reminds me of laundry detergent.

I tried the Cotton Bloom shower gel, ITS FABULOUS, I feel clean with this shower gels and all the rest of Bath and body works, I LOVE THE SCENT OF THIS, smells mellow, and fresh like fresh hanging laundry, i definitley will purchase this again, I LOVE THIS SCENT!!!!! "CLEAN!!"

I used this at my sister’s house. She loves it, but I really don’t care for this scent, it’s a very “woody” scent and too strong for me. In the foam hand soap formula, I found it a little drying, but my hands were not in desperate need of lotion for a few hours after washing (so an extra lippie for that). I won’t be buying this.

Cotton Blossom is a fresh, clean scent, but I found it boring. It does smell like laundry detergent, which is great for laundry. I didn't hate the scent but it didn't do anything for me.

I like this scent - light, very clean and airy. The body wash is typical for BBW - works fine, lathers well, could be a little more exfoliating, but for the price I think it does just fine.

I smelled this before in the lotion and thought it was nice, so i got it in the antibacterial hand soap, along with several other scents. Mistake! This stuff is vile. I like clean scents, but this is over-the-top, detergent, way too strong. I will finish up the soap, but will not repurchase anything in this scent.

The shower gel is right on the mark with this scent! I purchased the lotion, body spray, washing cream, and the shower gel. I wound up returning the spray as I could not stand the smell. There is an 'undernote' of some fragrance mixed in with the 'powderiness' and clean smell that I find repulsive. It is sort of a cheap something-or-other smell that forms a base for this fragrance, sort of like that which is found as the base in Cashmere Mist. Although I do like Cashmere Mist, by the way, there is that same 'undernote' that just makes me feel sick. I like subtleness in fragrances and the odor emitting from the spray and lotion was not affording that. I tried the shower gel and absolutely love it! I find that it smells exactly like clean laundry! I feel as if I'm nestled in billows of clean, freshly laundered thick-n-thirsty cotton towels after I wash with this stuff! I keep smelling my skin on my arms over and over again to delight in the scent! Truly a wonderful body wash with very effective cleansing properties. It performs great by sudsing up well, rinsing off well, and leaving this beautiful, innocent, fresh, clean, delightful, subtle scent on the body. Dreamy!
