I absoluely adore YSL beauty products so when I was in need of an intensely moisturizing night cream, I jumped for this product. I saw quite a few good reviews on this site, most of which are generally pretty accurate. This greenish cream has a very very strong scent and I happened to like it but I can see how it might irk some people. I put a modest amount on and felt a slight stinging sensation which I attributed to the acids in the product. But then my face started turning pink so I washed off the product. I tried again the next say but was met with the same negative results. I wanted thus to work for me, but I was allergic to some component in the cream. I didn't want to waste $80 so I demanded that my boyfriend use it to moisturize his face. He used pretty much his whole hand to scoop up around 3/4 of the contents and slathered it on. It was extremely hilarious as his face turned green. But he used it up in 3 days after much prodding. :)

My skin is combination and very prone to breakouts, and I've come to find that few moisturizers are suitable for me that is lightly textured, provides enough hydration, and doesn't make me break out. But alas, the YSL Nuit Intense creme feels like it's made for me. It's a lovely light texture almost watery and gel-like in a sense, and makes my face feel smooth and very soothed. The scent I feel, while strong, contributes to the soothing experience. It does not cause more oiliness either which is a big plus in my book. And perhaps best of all to someone who needs to be very picky about moisturizers causing breakouts, repeated use didn't lead to any adverse reactions! My face just feels more hydrated, supple, and smooth. The price is definitely higher than most but given how little is needed and the quality of the product, I feel it's definitely worth the price paid. I travel a lot and it's always a treat on longer trips to put this on my face before drifting off to sleep, it provides a shield between the face and the dry cabin air, and I can definitely feel a difference upon waking. This really is an excellent product and I reach for it all the time!

i'm such a stupid person. i used this night cream one night, and it gave me a terrible rash all over my face that was itchy for a few hours after i washed it off. a few nights later, i thought i should try it again, and it gave me a huge rash on my face that was itchy for hours. a few nights later, i tried it again, and i got the same itchy rash. i was just so horribly confused because i use all of YSLs products and i LIVE by their hydra feel line, i really expected this to work. i gave it 3 lippies because i don't know how effective it is as a night cream. all i know is that i'm allergic to it and won't buy it again simply for that reason. the smell is to die for, as are all of YSL's skincare products. i guess i just wanted to like this product so much that i put myself through hell 3 times to see if i truly was allergic. :( it's weird, i've never had an allergic reaction to anything in the world until i tried this. my advice is to get a sample before actually purchasing it. and if you start to develop a rash the FIRST time, don't try again :( better luck next time i guess.

It's very good for those with slight driness, esp during winter. Although it's a night cream, it's very lightly textured, absorbs quickly, and does not cause any break outs. I love it~

This cream is delightful if you need light hydration. It gives light, non-greasy moisture and seems to brighten and refresh the skin. Probably not a great fit for a very dry skin but normal or combo skins will like this. Not crazy about the jar (germ phobe) but love the lotion-gel texture.

This is the best moisturizer! I have very messed up skin: Dehydrated yet super oily, and very prone to breakouts. Hence, I tend to avoid puting moisturizers or any other oily, sticky products on my face. This night moisturizer from YSL is a rare one that I can, and love, to use. I love the smell! It makes me feel like I am being pampered very time I put it on. I love the packaging too. It is luxurious, very YSL style, which I love love love!
It doesn't break me out badly, and yet provide enough moisture for my papery skin. The texture is divine! Not too thick or watery. Although it is suppose to be a night cream, it is not heavy at all. It spreads well and does not feel sticky. It disappears immediately on my skin, making it feels immediately hydrated, well-rested and VELVETY!
This moisturizer has followed me from the dry dry weather of Australia, to the hot and humid Singapore.
I am finishing my second jar very soon. One jar last a long time for me, since I only need to use a little each time (about 3-4 small dots). This is even gentle enough to use on my eye area! The only downside is that it is a little expensive (~SGD$130 for a jar of 50ml). Even if I stray, I find myself keep coming back to this product. I hope YSL keep this product forever. I don't think I can find another moisturizer to replace this. It is a staple in my skincare cabinet.

ok.. I think my skin has changed somewhat. Now this feels a bit thick for me, and kinda leaves a film on my skin. so I am taking off a lippie.

It's a very good moisturizing night cream for the younger user. But I'm not sure that it can help tone the skin when you get older. Not too greasy, sinks right in when you put it on, helps the skin recover during the night and waking up with a fresh, plump looking face. I gave it 4 lippies for the strong scent, as in all YSL products. You'll have to get use to the perfume in the beginning, but after a while, it's ok.
It' not cheap at 55 euro / 50ml, but it lasts for months. I really liked it during the summer months, and am curious for the results during the colder months of the year.

This is a fantastic night cream! I have always been using separate night cream and have tried many different ones but this one really made a difference! Nice texture and results I can see and feel! ok, it is bit overfragranced but the smell is nice and actually makes me relaxed. The price is a bit expensive but a pot lasts for ages as I only use it once a day, at night obviously. This cream really does work for my skin, i wake up and my skin looks fresh and well rested! Even better than Guerlain's Midnight Secret, escpecially regarding the price! Will buy again and again!

FOR SURE it is a very expensive night cream. I just turn 29 yeras old, but this night cream is not heavy at all for my age ( note: I don't have any wrinkle, no acne, have been using Retin-A, PB's BHA, L-ascorbic C serum and hyaruronic serum) I spray PB's BHA solution first to exfoliate dead skin/control oil secreate then apply this magic night purple night cream. Wow ! I wake up with supple , tighten skin--even my mom is asking what did I put on last night.

GREAT night cream! I have been using it for 10 days and my skin texture has really improved! Never expected to see such good results! I am in my early 30's and was afraid to use something "too strong" yet! So this was perfect! It moisturises and smoothes the skin and my face looks relaxed in the morning! Even a visible line a had on my forehead- I swear has left! A bit pricey but worth it in the end!

Using this for a week. In the beginning I noticed a slight improvement in my skin. I had hormonal breakouts and they went away sooner than with other treatments. But after a week I don't see any further effects. In the morning I did not feel my skin soft nor radiant. So, I will not use this again.

I don't really believe in 'night creams' but this product really made my skin feel luminous & more radiant, and cleaner for some reason. I have sensitive dry skin that is prone to congestion. For some reason congestion around my chin & forehead cleared up after a 2 weeks of using this! Not sure if it was this product that caused this to occur but will definitely be buying this again. Sometimes I feel that this isn't hydrating enough for my dry skin, but I just a hydrating serum underneath it.

I used this night cream for a few months. Initially, I was very impressed, it made me look luminous and rested. The scent is nice, the texture wonderful, the packaging beautiful. However, I suddenly got an allergic reaction to it, a stinging sensation which only stopped when I ceased using this product. Unfortunately, this cream seems not to be suited for someone with very sensitive skin.

Even after reading the reviews here, I assumed this wouldn't work for me since every night cream I've ever tried made me break out. I was so wrong - this cream is amazing - moisturizes really well without irritating my sensitive combination skin. My face feels really smooth and soft after I use this. It's heavily scented, but the smell isn't bad and I've gotten used to it. I will buy this over and over again.

WOW! This is a fantastic cream for my combo/oily skin. Normally, I shy away from "night" creams as they are too heavy. This stuff melts into the skin and I wake up with an amazingly soft face. It hasn't caused any clogged pores or breakouts. My only complaints are the scent (a little heavy till you get used to it) and the packaging. For $75, I'd like it to "look" expensive. :-) (My skin is Combo/Oily/Acne-Prone/NOT sensitive)

I love the way this product leaves my skin feeling! It's a light blue-green gel-cream texture (think Chanel Hydramax serum) which absorbs in beautifully to my dehydrated combination skin. It is quite heavily fragranced (like all other YSL skincae products) but you get used to it after a while.
