As other reviewers have stated this is very close in color to Pink Opal from mac and works wonderfully as a highlight. The staying power seems to be just about right as well. Over all this is a good purchase for the price if you can find it - L'Oreal discontinued this color some time ago.

Let me start out by saying the only reason I won't repurchase is because this line is DCed! Like a lot of other reviews stated, this is a pretty spot on dupe of MAC's Pink Opal pigment. I own both, and I highly prefer the MAC to this product, only because I feel that Mystified is a bit too sheer, even when used wet or with a base. But before I discovered MAC, this product was my HG, as I used it every day.

These are the closest drugstore purchase to MAC pigments. Shades are highly pigmented, easy to blend and last all day. Originally retailed between $6-8 each. Each small pot contains 2 grams of product. If you are looking for pigments, then these are a great way to go because of the price. I find loose powder to be a pain in the neck to apply, and too messy. The colors are very nice though, all look beautiful and apply true to color with great staying power. Mystified is a shimmery pale pink with a darker pink iridescence to it.

Swapped for this as it can't be found via normal channels anymore (discontinued). "Mystified" is very like MAC pigment in Pink Opal due to the icy pink/creamy irridescent thing it's got goin' on. Dusted on dry, it is merely a blue-based light pink. It's pretty, but also a fairly basic color and similar to Jane eyezing in "Prom Queen", among others. It's much nicer when applied wet--that's when you can see the resemblance to Pink Opal--cool pinky lavender with a sort of opalescent look. It's not my favorite of the OTLs, but it's nice and worth picking up if you can find it in a bargain bin somewhere.

I've owned mystified for about 3 years, and I love it. Applied dry, it's a pretty, but fairly unremarkable pale pink...applied wet it is iridescent, almost metallic. Very striking!

as w/ all of L'Oreal's OTL shadows...great e/s! Mystified is a lot like MAC's Pink Opal pigment, just not so pink. :( goes on smooth and is soo pretty when used wet!-->more metallic and w/ more flashes of color (pink, lavender).

These on the loose eyeshadow wear really nicely. Too bad they discontinued them. Best place to get them now is to swap for them, or look at Big Lots.

L'Oreal's version of MAC's Pink Opal Pigment. Used dry, it gives a chalky, shimmering white glow with maybe a *hint* of pink. Used wet - hello, lovely! The shade morphs into a metallic cotton candy pink, reflecting light at all angles. Very pretty, and definitely a surprising find. Swap for this if you do not want to shell out the $$$ for Pink Opal. There is no way you will be disappointed, they are identical (when the OTL is foiled) on me. Olive NC30.

pastel pinks never appealed to me but being a fan of OTLs, i decided to try this pale chalky pink e.s out. it does look v nondescript when applied dry. in fact, it disappears right off my skin when applied in this way. nonetheless, it's a different matter altogether when applied wet. WOW! u can see a chromish pink shimmer (or pearlescent) that flashes a bit of rose at different angles. very unique.

This is a cheaper alternative to Mac's Pink Opal pigment. Although Mystified is a tad less pink. It's a fresh looking pink wash when used dry and wet, it becomes more metallic and slightly lavender. This color is aptly named as it makes me think of mythical creatures such as faeries and unicorns. Worth checking out.

I didn't know what to do with this. As a shadow it was too pale and washed me out. As a highlighter it looked too obvious and powdery on my skin. I had no use for this pale pink color.

I'm so sad these are being discontinued but was thrilled to see they were only 80 something cents at Walgreens! This is a beautiful shimmery pale pink with hints of darker pink and lavender. Beautiful for soft springy look! I adore this..
Cool toned LLL, brown hair/eyes.

Wow, I'm excited! An iridescent pink shadow I can finally wear. I've tried a few and this one is the only one that looks right on me. It's not too icy looking, it doesn't leave a white powdery look, just a pretty shade of pink where the light hits that's not TOO bright. Looks fantastic with some black eyeliner, or as a browbone highlighter.

My favorite OTL! A gorgeous, iridescent pale pink that flashes lavender. I love this as a highlighter for my cheekbones.

This is a greaty shimmery (but not too much so) muted pink. This is great on its own as it brightens up your eye area w/no other shadow or use it as a highlighter.

I don't know why this isnt more popular. It a pretty milky pink with pink shimmer. almost identical to MAC's pink opal pigment. They look different in the container, but I tested both on my hand right next to each other and they looked the same, but pink opal is a lil more shimmery. My fave shade like this is Ecstasy glimmer by B.E.

This is a very shimmery light pink color that flashes a darker pink color. It's very similar to Bare Escentuals "Escasty" shimmer, except BE is more of a purple.

I really have no use for this powder to justify buying it, but it's very pretty and I'd buy

There was nothing special about this. Barely showed up on my NC20 lids. It's a pale pink, I would definitely not repurchas.

Mystified is a light sparkly baby pink that goes w/ a lot of complimentary shadows because it can be used as wash or just a lid color. It brightens the eye area nicely. Very pretty!
