Absolutely one of the best hand and nail creams on the market today. I've tried so many that I was thrilled to have found this product. I get weekly manicures which has made my nails very dry, to the point where my manicurist told me not to put polish on for about a month. I purchased this cream and used it over the course of that month, and my nails have never looked better or stronger. The moisture is perfect for daytime, as it absorbs quickly yet leaves hand soft and smooth. I love that it comes in a travel size, which I always keep in my handbag. I also have the large size for home use. I can't live without this cream and am thrilled that Clarins did it again. Note that I wear Clarins SPF 40, which doesn't contain anything else but the SPF, over the product when I go outside. Clarins also sells the hand lotion with SPF 15, but I'm fair and need more SPF than that.

I bought a 4 pack of this from the duty free in London's Heathrow before a transatlantic flight. The luxury of something nice-smelling and moisturising on a plane!

The texture is rich and the immediate delicate orange scent hits you straight out of the tube. Rich enough to keep the cuticles of a prolific hand-washer happy - this is a big deal for me.

My only scruples come with effectively getting out the last fifth of a tube without cutting it open, which is a bit of a bore if you're on the go, and is almost not worth the bother unless you're at home.

It's fairly expensive for something you will wash off many times in a day, but as a treat, I believe it's worth it.

PROS
fragranced if you like this fragrance
absorbs quickly
easy to squirt out of the tube
good for people who remember to moisturize their hands before they get cracks and skin splits
a good gift

CONS
not rich enough for my scaly hands
fragrance- you may not like the smell
not that effective if you have very dry skin around your cuticle area
not that helpful by the time cracks and splits have appeared on your hands

HG handcream. I always end up buying this handcream again. Sometimes I try other brands, but nothing absorbs so quickly as this one. I don't mind the smell at all. To be honest, I love it. It smells a bit like oranges and mandarines... :-)

This hand cream helps to soften your hands and claims to strengthen your nails. When I use this product my hands are instantly soft and my dry cuticles disappear. I do find that you need to reapply this product throughout the day to maintain soft hands. The packing is pretty simple, nothing fancy. It has a mature fragrance which some people might not like. This hand cream will last you awhile since it is 100ml, and it should because it is almost $30.

I pay around 18€ for 100 ml in Europe for this. I have previously used Elizabeth Arden's "Eight Hour Hour Cream Intensive Moisturizing Hand Treatment" (25€/75 ml), which is great, but I wanted to try something new. This hand cream absorbs really fast, smells great and leaves the hands super smooth with a silky feeling. I absolutely love it. The tube is somewhat unpractical with the lid that needs to be completely taken off. I will probably continue using this one instead of Elizabeth Arden's.

Not moristurizing enough, good to use in summer time. Not crazy for this granny style smell, either.

best hand cream Ive tried since I can't easily get my ultimate favorite hand cream (Beaute Pacifique) and I've tried them all.
The scent is strong and reminds me of my grandmother- thankfully she was an elegant woman.

As with most of my Clarins products, I got this for free so any comments must be tempered by that.

This cream comes in a squeeze tube, which is awesome. Big pots of cream are hard to tote around and this tube is a reasonable size so I can throw it in a purse if needed. The cap stays on well, never had a leak!

The cream is off white and scented with rose, which gives it that 'old lady' smell that others often dislike. I am 37, so perhaps verging on old lady and don't mind the smell. The scent is light and does disappear quickly, so even if you dislike it, you probably won't notice it after a few minutes.

The cream is effective at what it does - it moisturizes, smells nice and is convenient. It doesn't leave a greasy feel, which means I can get on with my life after using it. I detest putting on hand cream and then being unable to steer the car because my hands slide all over the wheel.

It is a tad dear - as are most Clarins items. I hear that the Queen uses this, so maybe that makes up for the price.

So here is my ultimate breakdown - a good daytime hand cream though expensive for the results. When it is gone, I will probably search for something cheaper. For before bed, I want something heavier to really let my hands heal. I guess I am a two hand cream kind of girl.

Smells ok, nice texture, sinks in really quickly, doesn't leave an oily mark if you touch paper after applying.
The 2 deal-breakers are: -
1. Not moisturising enough (my hands felt dry 5 mins after - I had to go out and buy a more intensive cream to compensate).
2. It contains triclosan.

I always buy the little $10 bottles you can get at Macy's. The size is perfect for your purse, and I don't have to pay for the full size bottle.

I love this handcream. It always leaves my hands feeling soft and smooth, never greasy. I put it on and 5 minutes later, I'm like, fondling my own hands they are so soft. LOL.

People keep complaining about the old lady smell, but I'm 21 and I like it so try it! :P

I love this hand cream, I have tried others including the Chanel hand cream wich is really expensive and have come back to the Clarins. It is the only hand cream that actually does moisturise my hands well and improves the condition of my nails. I use it a couple of times a day, it has a nice light creamy consistancy that sinks in quickly and smells a little floral but mostly fresh.

I think this is my HG (I have never found anything better), I also like that you can get a version with SPF which I keep in my handbag. I will keep coming back to this since it works so well and is much cheaper than other HE alternatives.

I've used this for years and, despite the slightly old fashioned smell, really love it, it's one of the few creams I've found that leave my hands feeling moisturized but not greasy. However, the price has now significantly increased to the point that I can no longer justify the expense ($53 NZ per 100ml) Consequently I've been forced to find a replacement product. I wouldn't buy this again purely because I think $53 is a ridiculous price to pay for handcream, but I did like it.

I have used a lot of hand creams, I suffer from extremely dry hands which crack and bleed (not very attractive!) this cream is excellent, it healed my hands quickly, doesn't sting like hell, like some do on the open cracks and absorbs so well. Its great to have found a cream that soaks in so I'm able to drive with it on too. Because I started using this once my hands were already a mess, I'm really hopeful regular use will stop my hands from drying out in the first place. After ten years of searching for the perfect hand cream this is definitely my favourite 5/5 from me!!

I got this in sample size with other purchases. The color is off white and has a distinctive herbal smell. It is not unpleasant, just different. One thing I absolutely love about this product is that it absorbs almost immediately. There are no sticky hands and it is still moisturize enough.

The tube I got is like a travel size yet still have quite some product in it. I noticed the retail price can be kind of expensive. I would not repurchase it in the near future because i have quite a few tubes of hand creams at the moment. This is one of the better ones in term of performance but I will wait until I tried everything else before decide to repurchase.

I was a bit underwhelmed by this hand cream. I love Clarins products, but this fell a bit short. The fragrance isn't amazing and the cream feels nice once it goes on, but only lasts for about a minute and you feel like you need to apply more. Wouldn't buy this again.

One of the best hand creams I've ever used! This cream smells great, absorbs quickly, and hydrates. Plus I can put it on before I drive and not have slippery hands. Also helps my cuticles stay moisturized and my nails grow :)
