This is the best lotion/cream I have ever used.

I have excema and after using this for a few days it clears up - and stays that way with continued use. It makes my skin feel soft and diminished the appearance of scars and stretch marks on my skin. It soaks in quickly and smells amazing - like rosemary and oatmeal. It seems to help with ingrown hairs as well and is gentle enough that I can use it on my face in a pinch.

The pot is inconvenient and slightly unsanitary, but I appreciate the recycled packaging. I will certainly continue to buy this unless I find something better.

I have such dry skin and have tried everything there is to relieve the itch, dryness, patchiness etc. I didn't always have this issue so I could get away with the cheaper lotions and potions. Love that this soothes with oatmeal, and has a light fresh scent. Shopping at LUSH is always an experience and I love that you can try the products before you purchase. A bit of a pricey item but it goes a long way and it works!

i initially used it for my body but after getting my face burned by benefit "you rebel lite" this cream was the only thing that can cool my face down. honestly life safer, i would absolutely purchase it again.

I got a sample of this in my last Glossybox and since then it's become a must in my skincare routine.

This is the only lotion that has had such an effect on my skin - it get's super smooth every time I use it. It's a must after I've showered, because water always dries me out, especially in the winter.

The only things I dislike is the smell - it can be a little off-putting, but the product itself is amazing. And the packaging - I prefer cremes and lotions in tubes, rather than tubs.

It is the only - and I do mean ONLY - cream/lotion/unguent that I can put near my face when my skin flares up. And being blessed with eczema, occasional acne and severe flushing [no idea if this means I'm on the way to becoming roseacea prone too, yay!] this happens frequently. I have been through the all the UK gunk available on prescription, the ranges of Avene, Aveeno and LRP [excellent for body, good for washing, spot-treatment, sunscreen etc.], EL Verite, RoC, Japanese HA serum lotions, Nude, Mir, the list goes on. The only other thing is Nivea Creme Euro/German version, but when my skin is sore it requires too much rubbing in even if warmed first. Plus it doesn't sink in and soothe the way Dream Cream does.

Everything else from LUSH is indeed complete pants, though. And don't get me started on their Dream Wash, the 'companion' product. Truly dire. But if they went out of business and Dream Cream disappeared I would be up sh1t creek without a paddle.

NB: I transfer Dream Cream into a blue glass pump bottle. Looks like it wouldn't work but find a stable funnel with large aperture, dunk gloop in and cover with muslin/clingfilm/thin plate. Leave for a while and it drops in. Much easier and less mess.

I absolutely LOOOVE Lush Dream Cream! I have an extremely sensitive skin and there are only a few products that I can use on my face, and Dream Cream is one! It makes my skin very soft and healthy, I don't have red spots on my face anymore. I don't use much on my face, a little scoop will do. I'm using my current Dream Cream for about 3 months now and it's only half way. Totally worth the money! Couldn't live without it!

This is probably the most moisturizing body lotion I have ever tried so far!
It makes my skin feel extremely soft.

As far as the smell goes, it's pretty faint and doesn't linger on the skin which is good because I like using this whenever I'm planning on putting on perfume =)

Would definitely repurchase.

I bought this because I have eczema and have heard great things about this product. Only for me, I didn't like it. I did not like the smell at all. This also way to thick for me, I felt I had to use so much on my body, if I used this everyday I could easily use up the tub in less than a month. I much prefer charity pot over this. I will continue to try some other LUSH lotions, this was just a thumbs down for me. Also, it didn't help my eczema, I ended up having to use my reg. prescription.

I've been using Dream Cream for over a month now and my skin has greatly improved. My legs were very dry and had some bumps and they are all gone. I would also, occasionally get very dry patches on my upper arms during the winter. I have not had any since I started using this cream. Even though it is expensive, a little goes a long way.

The consistency is not to thick and it works easily in to the skin, much better than super thick body butters that you really have to massage in to the skin. It is not greasy or heavy at all. I've even used it on my face when it was irritated and the skin calmed down almost immediately. I didn't break out, even on my T-zone. The scent is lightly floral, not overpowering as some Lush products can be.

One thing I do not care for is the packaging, The jar is pretty deep and getting the product out as you get towards the bottom. I will need a small spatula or other tool to get to the bottom and not get cream under my fingernails.

I will definitely buy again.

I went to Lush and asked them for something that would get rid of razor bumps. They brought me over to the dream cream and told me all about how it reduces bumps and redness. The price was around $30 which is a bit too much so the lady let me have a generous sample. I put the dream cream on my razor bumps when I got home and I really do mean it when I tell you IT'S GONE. It's only been one day and there's a huge difference! I definitely recommend this for anyone with the same problem as me!

This is a good product, and certainly wonderful for those it has helped with varying skin conditions, but was nice - not miraculous - for me. I used it for a year in the hopes that it would help with my breakouts (which I tamed anyway with Retin-A) but alas, aside from moisturizing WONDERFULLY, it didn't magically fix anything.

And yes, I used this on my face. The first thing I'll say is that heaven forbid I ever mention that to the Lush sales associates - they would ALWAYS, inevitably, gasp in horror! VERY off-putting, particularly as the rest of their heinously overpriced face moisturizers did not react well with my skin and didn't seem to do anything special. And one good reason that, although I think they are very nice otherwise (albeit pushy), I order from Lush UK instead of buying in store (the ridiculous cost savings is another story ... ).

The smell is okay - slightly herbal, slightly plasticky, with the most prominent note being lavender [I don't like lavender]. That being said, I didn't mind it, it was almost nice in its way. When applied, it is slightly too greasy - the palms of my hands never quite recover, but it sinks in gorgeously everywhere else, and my hands feel very moisturized. It does leave a bit of a satin-greasy sheen on my face.

I'm moving on to Sympathy for the skin because I prefer the consistency, and it smells very nice, and seems to give the same performance for my face while leaving my body slightly less greasy.

I can see where Dream Cream would be heaven-sent for sore skin. It is a perfect medium between watery to the point of uselessness and a thick, obnoxiously greasy butter (cough TBS cough). Something in the ingredients [likely the oat milk, tea tree oil and lavender] is almost cooling and certainly soothing to dry, chapped skin.

One last thing - it has never broken me out, face or decollate (which, sadly, Lovely Jubblies does, every single time!) It is certainly worth the price if it dramatically soothes existing skin conditions; otherwise, Lush has nice alternatives.

AMAZING!

Dream Cream is a very basic smelling lotion, nice & a bit herbal-y. I know people that don't like it but for me, I enjoy a simple lotion that isn't weighed down with a ton of fragrance especially for post-showers. This product does not sting or irritate my legs after shaving, which is great. I also suffer from KP on my upper arms and this is reduced the appearance of bumps & redness!

I usually apply this lotion while I'm still wet from a shower so it spreads thinly & easily. I bought my first large tub in the beginning of November and it's about half gone now (mid January) but I've been conservative with my usage because it's so pricy. If I used it as much as I WANTED to, it'd be gone by now.

So expensive, yes. Worth it? Also yes.

The only thing I dislike about this, is that I want to put it in a pump dispenser since it comes in a tub and at over $20 I am so clumsy I don't like to risk dropping it and spilling.
I love everything else about it - not too strong a smell, keeps my skin happy.
I have been buying Dream Cream since I first tried it a few years ago.

Dream Cream is absolutely fantastic! It has a perfect consistency which isn't too heavy, but absorbs into the skin like a...well, a dream! It is a godsend during these brutal Chicago winters; it keeps my skin so perfectly moisturized that I have no signs of dryness at all. The sent is typical of LUSH products - light, natural, and pleasant.. It's a miracle product. Highly recommend!

I love you Dream Cream. What can I say? I have sensitive skin that quickly dries thanks to medication. I was sick of dealing with thick butters, not strong enough lotions, or moisturizers that were too scented to sleep in. I practically raced to lush when I heard about dream cream. It is magic to me. My skin just drinks it up, it's not sticky. It is moisturising without leaving residue. It is lightly scented but not so much that it bothers me in my sleep or throughout the day. It banishes my red splotchy dryness so quickly. I am not sure I'll need this when my skin returns to normal/in hot weather, but for now, I truly recommend this for anyone with dry skin who desperately wants something fuss free but lovely.

This might just be the most nourishing and softening body lotion I have ever tried! It left my skin feeling incredibly soft, unlike anything I had ever tried before. My skin felt like velvet afterwards, I loved it!

And the lotion smells nice, too. It smells like lavender, but in a very soft and delicate way. Thumbs up!

PROS
--- very lightweight & non-greasy
--- absorbs easily into skin
--- very moisturizing
--- a little bit goes a LONG way
--- calming for sensitive skin
--- doesn't cause break outs / rashes / etc. for me
--- used after shaving, it leaves my legs incredibly smooth and soft
--- no strong scent, which is either a pro or a con depending on your taste

CONS
--- pot is too large for casual users like me, who will not be able to use all of the product before it expires within a year

I would only buy this again if I could find a friend who would split it with me. Right now I still have my pot from TWO YEARS ago, so it is long past expired... I have about 1/4 of it left. O___o
