My favourite Nars gloss consistency- thicker, long-lasting and even pigments. Same as my all-time fave Easy Lover. Unfortunately, this sheer red doesn't work with my pale yellow skin and dark hair. Most reds look great, but this shade makes me look sallow and ashy. I wish it were slightly more blue-toned. Rose Ghitane is a perfect shade, but is more watery and doesn't last as long. Really wish it worked!

my favorite everyday lipgloss. It's a sheer red, not too cool or too warm/orangey. I also like that it's not glittery at all, which makes it day appropriate. This also looks really great over lipstick, especiallly Revlon matte lipstick in In the Red. best red lipgloss I've every found.

I just bought the color Scandal, at first I was looking for Bad Education but they were all out everywhere I went so I tried Scandal and I'm in love! It looks great on its own and over any lipstick color, adds an extra pop! Thought it would be smelly or taste funny but so far it's been pleasant. It lasted much longer than I thought it would on my lips and didn't look too greasy. Happy with my purchase but a little pricey.

Love this for an everyday look! I only use a little bit to add color and shine! Really pricey though :(

Hey Dolls, so Nars Turkish Delight is SUPA SUPA FANTASTC.. recommended 4 any skin tones... If u want to copy Kim Kardashian's nude lip look - this will be ur bff..

Just make sure u have exfoliated & moisturized your lips b4 applying this. Either use lip spackle or jus any foundation on ur lips to take the pinkyness outta your lips. So when u apply turkish delight u get its true color. MAC's spice lipliner works great wid it also.
You can also apply it on top of MAC's angel lipstick - looks superB....

Another winner from Nars! I love this beautiful reddish/orange shade. Can be worn sheer for everyday wear, or layered for more drama. A great holiday party colour.

When I first got this lipgloss, I wasn't sure what I felt about it. I liked it, it lasted about as long as every other NARS lipgloss and it wasn't sticky at all. I just wasn't sure about the color for me because I guess I had a specific color red in mind for myself. Well, the other day I bought Retro Red lipstick by New York Color just to try it and thought it was just a bit too bright for me, and layered Scandal over it. Perfect! It became an absolutely gorgeous color, perfect for my cool, fair skin.

This is such a beautiful sheer rosy red lipgloss, no glitter, just a perfect gloss for that natural, classic look. I have a light to medium complexion (MAC C4) and pitch black hair so rosy reds and pinks are my go to lip colors. I do agree with other reviewers that this lipgloss stays on very well, and because it is red in color, it can leave a slight stain which I love! I normally wear lip stains, however with this gloss I can pass on the stain and get the look I want. You can build on the color or use a single swipe for a pick me up. The price is steep, which is the only reason why I didn't give it a 5 rating, but the color and lasting power is somewhat unique. A winner in my book.

I have a love/hate affair with NARS; LOVE the quality of their products for the most part but wish they were a little less$$$

$24.00 for a GLOSS is super steep. I agree. HOWEVER....unlike several other brands that I have to reapply through the day, this one stays on and on and on...the energizer bunny of lipglosses :) This does then by default make it a little on the tacky side (though some are more tacky than others-its weird) but honestly once you get used to it you don't even notice anymore. I use the lip laquers by NARS and I find those to be super tacky and yet after awhile does not even phaze me. The only thing I will say about these glosses in general (hasnt happened to this one yet) is sometimes they can go "bad"? Like they just smell weird after a month or two sometimes. Not sure if its the constant lip to tube contact. But it does make me wish they put all these glosses in the little tubs the laquers are in or something without the little wand.

The color is strange; on the site its listed as "sheer cherry red.' The gloss "Misbehave" is also listed as sheer cherry red but with gold sparkle. I love Misbehave so I thought this would be the exact color but sparkle free. It isn't. Misbehave is definetly a sheer red like a thin layer of blood on your lips if you bit them with soem light gold glitetr thrown in. Gross lol I know. SORRY! But its pretty accurate. Its also a thin gloss; not very tacky at all. SCANDAL is more of a strawberry red; like if you ate a popsicle-that red with a small hint of pink. Its also much thicker so apply it lightly. It lasts MUCH longer than my Misbehave so its beginning to replace it on days I need that pop of red.

I am a lover of red lipstick-I always feel sexier, sleeker, more classic in it. So I rarely find ones I dislike but my like levels vary and I LOVE this one. Its a nice wearable red appropriate for day. It is NOT a "classic" shade though. For that go for Bloodwork (too blue for me) or Indian Red (FAVORITE OF ALL TIME!)

I ususally wear this with very natural eye makeup, black mascara, and NARS cream blush in Cactus Flower. For reference I am NC44/45.

This is a beautiful lipgloss! On me (blonde hair, brown eyes, medium skin, pigmented lips) Scandal is a cool reddish pink - perfect for the summer. It is not an in-your-face red at all. It's clear, with no annoying sparkles, and very shiny - and can be built up if you want the colour to be deeper. I actually love the texture of this lipgloss as its gloopiness means it stays for ever on my lips and it is very comfortable to wear. It also does not migrate over the lipline. Full marks!

This is the best red gloss I've ever owned, color wise. It' cute and gorgeous and very flattering. It's ubber shiny but not glittery at all. I'm pretty against glittery lips. The square packaging is nice because they don't roll over off the counter. Nars just has cute packaging on a whole as far as I'm concerned. Only problem with this is that it's so sticky. It sticks to everything and I can't even think of kissing my boyfriend. The stickness makes it a last a little longer but you just can't touch anything. I won't repurchase for that reason but I won't give this beauty away either.

This was my first lipgloss frpm NARS. I loved it so much. I am not a red lipstick/gloss person, but this is a sheer red, so it's not too much for me. Because it's so sticky, I have to put lipbalm underneath. On me, it lasts a while but not all day. I would repurchase this again when I run out of it.

The consistency of NARS glosses seems to vary wildly between shades. Some are thick, but have a smooth finish and a decent slip. Others, like this one, are so sticky they feel like you spread a layer of glue on your lips.
I love the colour of this gloss. A sheer neutral red with no visible shimmer, it gives your lips a nice stain of colour, and would probably be suitable for a variety of skintones. This gloss also has no noticeable scent or taste. Unfortunately, I hate wearing it because of the texture.
The one thing that makes the worth keeping (for me) is that when layered over a lipstick, it gives shine, but doesn’t emulsify with the lipstick and cause it to smudge off more quickly. In fact, it almost seems to seal in any lipcolour you might layer it over.
3/5 lippies. Love the colour, hate the texture. I’ll be looking for an alternative that’s easier to wear.

This is the perfect sheer red gloss. Not overly cool, warm, or dark, it provides a beautiful cherry-red glossiness to the lips without being in-your-face bright. I gave this a four out of five only because it's pretty much identical to Stila's Strawberry lip glaze (and I prefer their sticky texture to Nars glosses) but if you're looking for a subtle red gloss without shimmer, this is the ultimate.

If I could rate this lip gloss as a 10+ I would. Although I find NARS products on the more expensive side, its also true that you get what you pay for. I was never a lip gloss person before I tried their lip glosses, now I'm in love - the texture, the feel, the colour - everything is perfect. Scandal is the most amazing colour. It's definitely a red, but its not a bright, in your face red. Its more of a soft, elegant red that is timeless. If you don't want that red look for day, just apply a nude liner like MAC"s spice and apply Scandal on top - the combination is stunning!!! In fact, I usually apply spice before any lipgloss because it seems to make glosses last longer and it natural enough to blend with the colour of the gloss. Scandal is one of those lip glosses, where people will actually stop you in the street and ask what you're wearing because its so pretty, so if you're looking for that perfect, elegant, sophisticated colour, run out and buy Scandal today!!!

I LOVE this product. This is my first sucess w/ NARS. It is a gorgeous shade of cherry red. It's sheer so you can either go intense with it or light. Someone said it looks as if you've just had a cherry popsicle and that description is DEAD ON. Please try it you won't be sorry.

I love this color! It is not as red as it appears to be in the tube. It has a bit of transperancy to it so it looks good on everyone. It's stickey texture makes it shine and last!

This is my second favorite gloss of all time (Babe is #!). It's a beautiful sheer true red (leaning a bit cool) Because it's so sheer it's completely wearable for most people. It's sticky but because of that it stays on which I love.

I love this sheer red color and even though it is sticky, it lasts a lot longer than other glosses. Also love that there is no noticable scent or taste. It's what I've been looking for!
