First, I am pale skinned (unfotunatly :\ :) )
After the first application, I could barely notice and difference with my skin color, after the second application, I turned orange. I can't even notice what color I am! It's kinda yellow-ish orange-ish tan, really wierd, it doesn't look natural at all, and I applied it really well because I have read hundreds of reviews about tanning products (and I have also watched reviews on youtube :) ) It's kinda easy to apply, it has a nice texture, the smell is pretty good but after a few hours on the skin it smells horrible!!!!
It takes an ever to dry, it's so annoying... The packaging is kinda cofortable. I applIied it well and it didn't left me streaking, but be aware that if you don't really know how to apply a ST or if that's your first time applying a ST, don't use that ST...
I bought that ST because in my country we don't have much self-tanners. :\ :\ :Overall, i am very dissapointed, not a good product at all! I am willing to buy the Banana Boat tanner, i hope that it'll be fine for me, I'll buy it on Ebay... :

I bought this product for the first time yesterday and immediatly tried it out, I must say i'm not a self tan expert, I rarely use it so it must be foolproof. I know the basics of exfoliating beforehand and moisturizing but I will be honest I haven't done it, didn't have the time and really wanted not to see my with legs :). Even so I'm very pleased with the result, I have no strakes whatsoever, it's a nice even colour.
I was intregued that they said it had a nice summery smell, I didn't really experienced it like that but it was a pleasant smell and once it's absorbed you don't smell anything anymore.
I was in a huge rush and feared that it wouldn't absorbe fast enough but it really did, once i finished my second leg the first one was dry.
Very practical with the pump system.
The colour is somehow orange but it still can get away with calling it 'natural', I will try to apply a second layer this evening but i'm a bit scared that it will turn unatural orange. But if you only use one layer it's nice.
What I found a bit strange is that my leggs stung for about 5 min after applying it, but it was really ouch stingy and the it just went away.
I only used it on my legs so I can't comment on what effects it has on the face.
Overall a good product that I would buy again.

I love this product, but it does does some practice to get to avoid streaking. Personally I would not recomend this for someone who has very pale skin. I noticed to get the best results you need to exfoliate and wait at least 30mins after your shower before applying the cream and blend it evenly on your skin then wait about 5-10 mins for it to absorb. Personally I like to apply it the night before or at least 2 hrs before heading out, results start to show after 20mins. The pakaging is easy to use, cost wise it costs just under $25 AUD but a little product goes a long way.

Originally when I wrote this review I was undecided whether I would buy this again. The positives: Gives me a great color which everyone thinks is natural, people say I look "glowing" when I have used this, develops fast, easy to use on the face, blends in easily and it didn't streak on my face. The negatives: Stung my eyes like crazy if I applied this product less than one inch from my eyes, went streaky on the rest of my body, turned my fingernails orange (and they are still orange two months later), wore off unevely, wore off my face very fast even though I didn't exfoliate, stayed sticky for HOURS despite me blotting the really sticky areas. I think the negatives by far outweight the positives. I had trouble opening my eyes for at least five hours after applying this on my face, and my vision was a little blurry. This amount of pain for a couple of days with a tanned face is not worth it.

I have always bought this product, ever since I discovered fake tanning. It is easy to apply as it is the same consistency of moisturiser. Any uneven development of tan is due to bad application. Whenever I wear this product, I always have comments from friends and work colleagues about how natural it looks. I have always been extremely pleased with this product, and will continue ot buy it.

I never used selftanners before, so I was a bit nervous when I used it the first time. I exfoliated my whole body before using the selftanner. It smells not bad. It's not a nice fragrance or something but it isn't bad. It isn't sticky to me at all, it soaks in very quickly (1 or 2 minutes) and it doesn't get orange. Normally my face doesn't tan, so I used this and my face is lovely tanned and it looks so natural! I really love it. But you really really really have to exfoliate before using and you have to "rub" it in your skin, otherwise you will get ugly orange streaks.
Would buy this again!

If you're looking for a major change, I wouldn't invest in this product. I've used it for 5 days now exclusively on my face (I use Aveeno continuous radiance on my body, which I highly recommend) to keep the glow I got from Europe. It gives me a nice, light luminous color. Very easy application and no streaking. It is a little expensive for how well it actually works.

While I enjoyed the glow that this product gave my face, and the fact that it doesn't even remotely smell like most self tanners smell, I have to say, it gave me either chemical burns on my face, or cystic acne. I couldn't tell you which because I've never had a problem with acne, but I have spots that hurt and never really turn into regular pimples, but rather turn into pencil eraser sized welts that look like burns. It's GOD awful and they hurt like heck.

Honestly I'm just hoping that my face isn't permanently scarred from them.

I bought this because it was on clearance at Target and now I know why: somehow the memo got around to everyone but ME that this lotion sucks. IT NEVER DRIES. I put some on after my shower in the morning and four hours later, it still felt greasy. For this reason, I have been putting it on at bedtime because I really hate to throw things out and it does give me some nice colour on my face. I say "on my face" because I have never been able to use it anywhere else because, as I mentioned, it never dries and I am not wild about ruining a piece of clothing. I'm sure there is a better self tanner out there and I am determined to find it.

This does take forever to dry, but I did like the color it gave. HOWEVER, after a few days it just sort of rubs of in places. Looks HORRIBLE. I've never had this happen before with any other self tanner except the gel version of this. Hmmm ... no more L'Oreal self tanner!

Age: 19-24   Skin: Acne-prone, Fair, Warm   Hair: Brunette, Wavy, Fine   Eyes: Green

DESCRIPTION OF ME: I'm caucasian with very fair skin; in the winter, I get so pale that you can literally see through my skin. I tend to burn first in the summer, despite wearing a sweater in a bottle. My complexion is combination, with a few flare-ups here and there, but generally pretty calm. I wanted to try ST for health reasons mostly.

PACKAGE: No problem with it at all, I imagine it would travel well. It was a nice size and didn't get slippery when my hands were all covered in lotion and I was trying to pick it up.

CONSISTENCY/TEXTURE: Pretty much like sunblock; it got a little sticky/tacky and when I was waiting for it to dry, it left me feeling really oily. It soaks into the skin pretty quickly, making me kind of unsure whether I applied it evenly, so watch out for streaks.

APPLICATION: When I put it on my face and upper body, it was great except for the tackiness I mentioned earlier. I didn't have any streaking at all and gave me a nice glow. Unfortunately, I didn't stop there and applied it to my legs... gross! Being the first time I tried ST, I didn't realize how important that exfoliating step is... I'll never skip it again! Days later I still have weird uneven streaks and splotches on my legs, and they sort of resemble bruises. I'm glad I tried it out now while it's still cool enough that I can wear pants without seeming odd. Also, even though I washed my hands after applying the ST, it stained my palms and turned my fingernails orange.

DRYING TIME: It dries pretty fast, within a few minutes... but it leaves that sticky/tacky feeling on your legs for a while. I was afraid to sit or touch anything because it felt like it could call wipe right off.

SMELL: It's way better than some of the other products I've used, but it's still a pretty strong smell. At first, it's not so bad, but like all the rest, it comes out just when you're feeling comfortable and slaps you in the face.. at least it waits a while, though.

STAYING POWER: Well, it's been about 5 days now and I still have uneven streaks on my legs. About 3 days after my first application, I noticed it had faded from my face and upped body, but it was definately an even fade. While I won't be using this on my legs EVER again, I'm still going to use it for my face because the color was nice and not too overpowering.

NATURAL?: I thought the color was pretty natural, but if you put it on too thick, it definately has a tendency to turn out orang-ish. People would have to wear their sunglasses around you to protect their eyes from the neon glow. Definately be careful with your application...

COLOR: It's a white-ish color, a lot like sunblock when it comes out of the bottle and the color really takes a while to develop. I didn't notice any difference until I woke up the next morning... but like I said before, the upper half of my body was okay.

OVERALL: I guess this isn't a bad product overall, and I'd recommend it for your face or upper body, or really any part of you that's well moisturized... but I'd stay away from using it on your legs, as it gets really streaky and then turns orange. I won't be repurchasing.

while i was waiting for my HG tanner to arrived (i ordered it online) i thought i would try something else to see if i can find a better one (what was i thinking?) so i tried this one. well lemme tell u the only good thing about this crap is that it smelled nice and didnt irritate my face.
but it didnt gave me the tanned look that i want and it took ages for the color to really show up and took forever to dry. i still feel tacky and sticky after about 2 hours after i applied it. and it gave darker color on my hands(not tan but bronzy yellowish) yet it hardly showed up on my legs. the color just doenst look even at all. and i dont like the color, its too bronzy for my taste it looks fake. i think my 10 euros just went down the sink.

I was very careful before and during applying the selftanner but it all turned wrong. Some parts of my body were ultra-tanned and other were yellow/orange-ish. It looked like I hadn't showered for ages. A real waste of money. Yuk.

This is the second self tanner I've tried so I don't have a lot of comparisons. My complexion is very fair and I have red hair so I don't tan easily. This product provides quite unnatural finish, a bit orange. It doesn't last long so you have to apply it every day. The fragrance is very strong and unpleasant. The pump dispenser is very handy and you always get the right amount from it.
