Closest ds DUPE for NARS orgasm! Super blendable, soft and pigmented enough for my NC25 skin (may not show up on darker skin tones unlike the infamous HE one). Appears as a pearly cool toned pink sheen on me that gives a flushed glow. Absolutely love this, my most used blush in the winter especially.

I think Covergirl's Cheekers Blush in Rose Silk is a great product. When stumbling upon it, I was searching for a cheap light pink blush with a powder texture. This was the best I could find in the drug store. The packaging scared me at first because it was a little confusing. I eventually figured out how to close it and it was fine. The blush does have a fragrance but it is not too overbearing. It is actually quite pleasant. The color payoff is phenomenal. Maybe too good... Even if it looks like there is little product on the blush brush, there is a ton. So blending may be necessary for some. I definetly need to blend even more so every time using this blush. I feel like my acne acts up a bit when I do have this blush on. Nothing too extreme though. I usually stay away from Covergirl from past experiences with their products but I would pick this blush up again even though it isn't a very light color. It's still very nice and is worth a try. :)

Cheekers has been on MUA reviews for 10 years, and in stores a lot longer. The original idea of Cheekers from Cover Girl was to have your blush with you in a small, portable case including the brush. CG created several shades and presently there are 18, so you can have as many as you need for different moods and color schemes without breaking your piggy bank. This review is for Rose Silk, which I would say is my perfect every day and night shade. It's sheer, buildable color lasts all day until it's time to wash you face, or all through a long night. There is no glitter or sparkle! Just a natural-looking glow that blends into your skin whether it's bare or you're wearing foundation. The fragrance is reminiscent of Noxzema, with eucalyptus leaf oil and clove flower oil. I actually like the fragrance and it dissipates after a while on your face. The brush is handy to have if you don't want to carry a full-sized blush brush or brush set while traveling, although the rectangle blush pan makes it a little difficult to just touch a blush brush like a round or square. I just swirl my regular blush brush around on the color and it works well. You can always save the little brush for blending small areas, like eyeshadow. I have blue eyes, a neutral skin tone that looks great in cool colors and this shade is just so pretty and natural. I get a kick out of it being a dupe for Nars Orgasm, at a fraction of the cost! I will definitely repurchase this little drugstore gem time and again!

I've been using Cover Girl blushes for over 20 years. Rose silk gives such a nice natural rosy flush to my cheeks. The color lasts and you can't beat the price. I pay $4 at Walmart. There's a good reason CG cheekers are a classic.

I've never been one to get hyped up about a blush, but this one from Covergirl has changed my thoughts. Most blushes are way too bright for my fair skintone, so I tend to shy away from them. This blush gives me a healthy glow that doesn't look overdone, in a way that no other had done for me before. I have repurchased this twice and am still just as in love with it as I was when I first tried it on. You only have to use the smallest amount of product for a natural look (which I usually do), but you can add a little more if you want better color payoff, and it won't look cakey. This is a product that I can see as working on most skintones. I honestly think that the baby powder smell is really good, but that might just be me. I can smell it's on the brush, but not when it's on my face. My only problem with this is the packaging. Since it's skinny and rectangular, I find it hard to use my own brushes with it, so I have to use the one that it comes with, which I'm not hugely fond of. Overall, this is the best blush that I have found and I will continue to buy it again and again, I just wish that they would change the packaging so that I can use some of my other brushes.

After reading a ton of positive MUA reviews about this blush, I decided to give it a try. Verdict: no regrets!
This blush is lovely. It has a very buildable, natural colour to it, which I think is great.
Secondly, it stays on all day (at least for me).

I don't mind the smell, though from many reviews I've seen on here, a lot of people can't stand it. Once it's on my face, I can't smell it, and that's all that matters.

I also don't mind the brush, unlike the majority of reviewers. It gets the job done adequately, which is all I'm really looking for.

Overall, I think this was a great purchase. I will definitely be repurchasing in the future.

I LOVE the color of the blush and on my skin it looks great i especially like the shimmer but i don't know if it was just me getting zits because of the time of the month or if it was the blush. All and all it's not a bad blush there just is better out there

Before I had children and my husband became a graduate student I only used expensive make-up and was especially fond of Nars. I have not bought any Nars make-up for at least five years now because it is completely out of my price range. Nars Orgasm was my favourite blush and I have to say that this blush is an incredibly close match. I actually think it is a bit prettier! I love the sheen it has which makes it almost a highlighter for me. I often apply a small bit over a matte blush like ELF's "Pink Passion". The drawback for me is the ugly compact and useless brush but for the price I am not going to take off a star. I AM going to take a star off for the hideous perfume. It does smell awful in an overpowering old-fashioned sort of way. However, I don't find that the perfume lingers.

Although I religiously check makeupally for reviews on everything before I purchase, I never before felt compelled to write my own for any product. However, for the covergirl cheekers blush in rose silk, I felt that I needed to add my own two cents. This ladies, delivers what Nar's orgasm promises, but fails to do. There is no chunky glittery drag queen-esque look when wearing this blush. Oh, no. There is however a beautiful, youthful pinky peach sheen to one's cheeks, reminiscent of childhood romps in the park. This is the blush that works with everything. The one you wear when you want to look pretty and innocent. The kind of blush that prompts the cute barista at starbucks to comment on your beautiful skin and ask for your number. Seriously, ladies, at 3 dollars, you have nothing to lose!

Love this blush So far this is the best blush I ever used. Gives a nice soft pinky glow but looks very natural. This has teensy tiny sparkles in it that not visible unless your up super close. The only negatives about this product is the smell of it (which isn't bad I smelt a lot worst cosmetics) I prefer my makeup to be scent free the packaging sucks is and looks cheap the brush it come with is awful scratchy and itchy. I tossed it out but this stuff is amazing

I dont like the little brush that comes with it but thats alright i have my own. Covergirl is a great makeup brand that i will lean towards when buying simple makeup (powders, masacara, blush, etc.) So over all i think this is a great prouct! I wil continue to buy! :)

Lovely peachy-pink shade. I never really saw the point of blush, but my mom told me I looked too pale all the time (whatever like I live in Canada) so I finally just bought this (after checking reviews for the best blush on MUA!) and wow, i actually do look much more radiant and girly. I agree with alot of the other reviews I skimmed over- it doesn't contour very easily, but it never looks clown-like. There's a subtle sheen of glitter, but it's not tacky or anything. I tried other blushes, because I thought maybe I should expand my horizons, but I will always go back to Rose Silk! And I know the brush is sucky but I use it anyways hahahahah

I find there are alot of mixed reviews regarding this blush and imho I don't know why!?!
I have been using this blush almost daily since discovering it at the age of 17 and in the midst of a bronzer-obsession (hey it was 2005, Paris Hilton was at her peak). It is such a beautiful pinky-coral colour and just perfect for a nice flush. I agree with many other MUA'ers that it is hard to overdo it with this blush, so it is quite forgiving.
Packaging isn't the best as it's a small strip of blush with a useless brush but toss away the brush, grab ol' trusty MAC 109 and apply away bc this blush is perfect otherwise!
(Also I can't add much to the Orgasm dupe debate as I have never used Orgasm in the powder version only cream and c'mon now that's not comparable y'all!)

Perfect For A Neutral, Day-Time Blush. I Bought This Along With Classic Pink And They Are Both Very Beautiful, But This One Is More Of A Soft, Peachy Pink While Classic Pink Is Exactly What It Says It Is: Classic Pink.
For Lasting Power And A Nice Effect I Like To Layer Classic Pink Lightly Over Rose Silk.
Price Is Very Cheap: around 4 Dollars (US)
One Lippie Off For Funny Old Lady Scent. It Has Not Irritated My Dry, Sensitive Skin, And I Can't Smell It Once It's On My Face, But It Just Smells Funny. I Can, However, Smell It On My Brush.
Don't Use The Crappy Brush They Give You; I Gave It One Lippie Off Of The PQ for That; It Will Make You Look Streaky. I Can Tell Even Before Using It.

Rose Silk is a very pretty pink with just a touch of peach to it. I think it would be flattering to most complexions. Although with a few swipes it can be very apparent you are wearing blush, it never looks clown-like. It is pretty pigmented. Unfortunately it isn't the most blendable blush, so being as pigmented as it is it can leave a noticible line if you aren't careful. I really recommend using a stippling brush to avoid harsh edges with this blush. It has some shimmer but isn't too obvious or glittery. There is a perfumy or maybe it's a soapy fragrance that I don't like. I have a few other Cover Girl blushes and this one has the strongest scent of them all. Thank goodness it fades fast and I don't notice it much once it's on my face.

So would I get this again? No, because I feel it's nothing special. It's a nice color and affordable, but I'm sure there are many other similar blushes that are more blendable or not as shimmery.

This is a GREAT blush! It's an almost a right-on dupe for Nars 'orgasam' blush at a mere fraction of the cost! It's got a great, multi-complexion friendly color that is sure to make almost every girl glow! <3 Thumbs up to Covergirl for this one! :)

I've been using this for years and constantly get compliments when I wear it. It's a beautiful peachy coral that compliments my skin tone perfectly (warm- fair skinned) - dirt cheap and available anywhere.

I bought this because it looks very similar to Cheekers Natural Rose. I love Natural Rose, bit wish it were slightly darker. In the pan Rose Silk looked like it would fit the bill as a slightly darker version of Natural Rose. I do like the color except the sparkles. I find that the sparkles are kind of silvery looking, which makes the blush look a little ashy in some lighting situations. On my olive skin, the color is very subtle. It kind of gives me a healthy glow, but you probably wouldn't notice that I have on blush. I don't think that the wearing power is very good. It seems to disappear fairly quickly. I'll probably keep it because it was $3. But I doubt that I will ever buy this again.

II have used this product for years and will continue to use it as long as they make it. This gives my cheeks are gorgeous pinky, peachy glow with a little shimmer. I was in Bloomie's last night swiping Clinique blushes and I was shocked at how coarse and grainy they were. Clinique blushes are $20.00. Cover Girl is around $5.00 if you shop sales. No comparison.

This is my favorite drugstore blush by far. I have a compact of joues contraste which, at $42, is an incredible blush. But this is, what, $5.99?

While cheap, it has a very silky consistency and a beautiful peach-pink color that, while it does oxidize a little, for the most part stays put and looks great for most of its wear. I find myself rationing and prizing this just as much as my Chanel blush.

NOTA BENE: Get it in the small compact. To economize, I got the bigger compact once and while I like the color, it is not the same at all to the small Cheekers compact. Even comparing them in the harsh, fluorescent light of the store you can see that they are different colors. Something about the peachy-pink silky goodness is lost in the large package. It's not just my batch, too, I've done this comparison multiple times. Or maybe I'm completely wrong/blind, but it just isn't the same to me!
