I *loved* these things! There's a certain type of facial acne they absolutely k.o.'ed- the type that you can feel (because it hurts!) before you can see. If left to develop, they always to weeks to get rid of, for me, at least. If you could catch this kind of zit in the painful-but-just-a-slight-red-bulge stage, applying an On the Spot patch for one night relieved the pain and almost always stopped the pimple's development. Sometimes it took two nights, but I can't remember them not working! They were not effective against pustules. However, for nodules in early stages they were absolutely amazing. I hope Neutrogena brings them back!

This product has worked wonders for me. This is by far the best spot treatment I have ever used. I had a break on the side of my face from the work phone. I went to CVS bought it and applied it that same night..Next day, Breakout is gone...I was so excited!

I am guessing i am allergic to Neutrogena products. Normally when I am allergic i get a huge rash on my neck whether or not product was applied there.
I was left with huge red blotchy marks on my face and neck. Itched like crazy... wouldnt give this to my worst enemy.

This did nothing. NOTHING. What a waste of money, plus they fall off easily.

This product really didn't do anything for me. Didn't make my acne worse, but really didn't do any healing. I might as well have been putting scotch tape on my face. Wouldn't recommend.

I thought it worked well on huge zits. I would like to buy them again but I can not find them.

I looked forever for these(I think they're being discontinued), because I'd heard really good things about them. This did absolutely nothing for me, my zit looked exactly the same when I took the patch off as when I put it on. Needless to say, will not repurchase.

I bought it after using its acne wash which is very good for my acne. But this patch didn't do much except it dries my skin very quickly. I won't buy it again.

As with all products, esp anti-acne products, you gotta try and try until you find one that works for you.
This one works pretty well for me. It reduces the zit overnight and seems to speed up recovery. Doesn't cause redness, even on my sensitive skin. I cut the patches in half for smaller zits, so the pack goes a longer way, thus reducing cost.
Overall, this is not the solution for an acne problem, but sure helps for emergencies. Much better than creams or gels, cos this patch ensures that the active ingredient stays on the zit and not rub off onto your pillow.
Worth a try.

It worked well on those 'huge' zits that appear out of the blue.. however I think that the hype of this is much better the the actual product.. They look cooler then they are.. there's much better stuff out there.. IMO!

Ok.. I actually was using this when I was 17, 18.. (nowaday i'm almost 23!) From what i remember, it worked not bad on little pimple. But didnt work at all on any monster acne (-_-) Not something I would bother to repurchase.

I really like these patches. They don't work to well on giant monster zits but they still speed things up. They destroyed some smaller zits I had overnight. I'll repurchase these.

Since a lot of people are complaining about the Neutrogena patches, I wanted to review an anti-acne patch by another brand; nu-pore. Since MUA doesnīt have this brand I decided to place the review here instead - rather than not sharing my experiences at all. The nu-pore anti-acne patch comes in a box much like Neutrogenaīs patches. One box contains 3 packets of 8 patches each (a total of 24 patches); each packet is to be used within two weeks from when you first opened it. The packaging is identical to Neutrogenaīs and I know some people think itīs a waste if you donīt need to finish the whole packet of 8 patches within those 14 days, but I tend to do that so I donīt really have a problem with the packaging.
The nu-pore patches stick better to the skin than Neutrogenaīs patches and they donīt fall of over night if used correctly (wait atleast 5 minutes for skin to dry after washing your face / applying moisturizers etc, before applying patches).
I have not experienced ANY redness or itching from these patches. They do not leave a round red spot the size of the patch, as some reviewers have described their experience with the Neutrogena patches.
RESULTS: These patches reduce the size of pimples DRAMATICLY over night. I donīt think itīs fair to expect that they will disappear completly - that would just be too good to be true - but mine are reduced by as much as 80% overnight! I rarely have to use the patches more than two nights in a row on the same spot, and usually it just takes one night. I think this products is great, itīs not as pricey as Neutrogena and it works better - itīs by far the best anti-acne product I have tried, and I have tried most of them!

Many reviewers complain that the patch doesn't get rid of the zit overnight. That's impossible! But, I hate having to take care of my skin and no matter how gross my skin is when I go to bed at night, I can always stick an acne patch on my zit or clogged pore or spot where you know a zit is coming - and it makes a significant difference. It cuts the time it takes for a zit to heal in more than half. I don't know of any other cream or toner or anything that will do that.

Piece of crap do not waste your money. Thank goodness I didn't, I tried it since it came in a sample but knowing me I would've probably gone out and bought a thing myself. Soo grateful I didn't. This doesn't even reduce pimples. It makes you believe you do by squishing a tiny hole on your blemish spot that obviously once exposed to oxygen will be the same as it had been originally, and although putting it on and going to bed seems an easy, efficient way to get rid of blemishes, there really isn't such thing.

I have acne-prone skin and breakout pretty bad on my jaw-line from placing my chin on my hand at work! Although it doesn't do "miracles" and totally eliminate my zits, it sure shrinks them a bit. A little expensive for 27 patches but would buy again to get rid of those pesky little suckers!

WOW! As acne treatments go, this one is a real keeper. My only gripes are that 1) the price is high for the amount that you actually get; 2) the packaging is designed in a manner that requires you to finish each packet in two weeks (or else the patches will 'go bad'); and 3) it didn't totally ELIMINATE my blemishes. That said, this one will give you noticeable improvement, from slight to dramatic. I have found that the bigger the blemish is, the more dramatic the improvement will be. I went to bed with a quite unsightly red one, gave it a patch, and when I woke up it was almost invisible. Yay! Those with chronic acne will do better with a continuous treatment like ProActiv, but for those of us with just the occasional blemish, these will absolutely do the trick (and do it better than anything else I've tried).

I really liked this product. You just put the sticker patch on ur face nad go to bed, the next morning, its dramatically reduced or gone. The sticker stays on ur skin all night without slipping off. The only reason i gave it a 4 is because it might not go completely away, but just get a lot smaller.

I have had pretty good success with these patches. I have oily skin with an occasional breakout and I found that the patches work best on those huge, red pimples that have not broken the surface yet. Clean your face well and allow your skin to dry first. Otherwise, the patch will just slide right off. For a really bad blemish, it will take 2 nights of consecutive use but the blemish is usually reduced by about 75%.
