I just love the texture when I apply it on my lips! The color is okay and lasts longer than I may expect. I will take a look for other nice colors!^^

I have this in Red 2000, I'm also posting a swatch here and what you see on the swatch is just ONE swipe of the lipstick on my hand. So it's really creamy and rich in both texture and color. Creamy red lipsticks are rather difficult to apply because it's easier to make mistakes, so I apply with a lip brush. It isn't the best in terms of staying power and fades into an ugly pink when I eat/drink. The best solution to prevent this is to lock it into place with lip primer and lip pencil.

I just got this in Red 2000 - it's the first red lipstick I've ever tried. The colour is gorgeous, a little shocking for my first time, but I love it all the same. As someone with red/auburn hair, it looks great on me (despite what critics say about redheads and red lipstick!)
The texture is perfect - glides on nice and easy like lipchap, then dries to a nice matte. It also has incredible staying power, staying on even after being rubbed off. The packaging it nice and simple too, black for elegance. I totally recommend this product and the colour! I just ordered two more colours :)

This review is for the color Lustre Wrap, which is a great pinkish beige color, applies with a satin finish, is somewhat moisturizing, but not like a lipbalm. I use this color a lot at work, It's pretty neutral, I think most people can were this without a problem, not enough punch to it for a night out, though.

I agree with the reviewer who said these are just as good as MAC and other high-end lip colors. The black tube is very sophisticated, the colors are highly pigmented, and it's longlasting. When it fades, it leaves a stain on your lips. On top of that, you can get them for a couple bucks on sale. The formula is creamy and smooth, and they are also unscented, which I love. I own three colors right now. I've reviewed Sparkling Peach separately, but I gave it a five. Brown Linen looks flat in the tube, but it's a nice warm neutral with the slightest hint of red in it, like a red clay almost. It's very flattering and worth a try if you're looking for neutrals. I also have Perfect Plum, which is really, really plum and way too dark for my taste, but the color is rich and pretty and lasts forever, so it deserves five lippies.

This is a reliable range, with nearly every color I've brought to be smooth, moisturising, apply evenly be fairly long lasting. No perfume too - which is great for my sensitive lips and it never makes my lips peel.
The colours in the brochure are often out so don't trust them - get a few tester/samples first. When I did I ended up liking completely different ones.
These are some of what I have had -
BERRY BERRY NICE - satin - true red with a very subtle hint of gold shimmer. Very pigmented, very retro pin-up, I wish they'd bring back this shade!
BRONZE TREASURE - frost - brown peach caramel
POUT - frost - light opaque pink - this is supposed to be a dupe for MAC's "Angel". It has a tendency to highlight dry chapped lips unless you apply balm first.
PRETTY - satin - blue red, similar to berry berry nice, but more raspberry. Good snow white effect for pale cool skins and brown hair. Stains lips.
RAINKISSED ROSE - shimmer - light-medium peachy pink
ROSE MAUVE - satin - muted purply mid mauve, much purpler than in brochure, where it looks brown
SHEER PLUM - sheer - muted plum violet, lets my lip colour show through and moisturises sooo well I love this one
SKIN - satin - natural toned, muted mid slightly peachy nude
VIVA PINK - satin - bright not-quite fuschia almost neon medium lolly pink with cool undertones, has a tendency show up yellow tones in teeth

I love this lipstick because of the moisturize, staying power for its price ($3 on sale, $8 regular price) that I will probably get some more colors. Avon is hard to shop for because you think youre getting a certain color, and its sorta different when you get it. But I got mine in Perfect Peach and its a gorgeous muted beige peach with shimmer. On my medium skintone, the color looks great against my skin, I couldnt ask for any other color, its perfect. Lasts a long time, doesnt taste bad, and the packaging is sleek.

This lipstick is my favorite! Before, I didn't use lipstick because i found the texture too dry. But since i use this lipstick (I bought Carnation) i wear it all the time. The texture is creamy and don't let my lips dry.

They brought back Frozen Rose! I'd bought a tube of this in '02 or '03 and fell in love with it then told that it was being discontinued. So I bought a back up tube and still haven't opened it for fear I'd never see the shade ever again. So recently I saw it listed as a new shade in a catalog I got from my rep and ordered one and hoped it was the same color since in the catalog it looks kind of mauve and in real life it's not. Thankfully it was the same Frozen Rose that I knew and loved! The shade pic in the catalog does this shade no justice and it's not even close to what the shade looks like in real life. I wish Avon would fix this problem of their magazine color swatches not being the same as the actual product shade as I'm sure they're aware of it. Anyway Frozen Rose is very similar to NARS Galaxy Girl only a couple shades darker. A peachy rose pink with gold shimmer. I will be buying tubes of this often I love it so much not to mention Avon's lipstick prices when on sale are quite easy on the wallet. Also, I must add, that I've also purchsed other shades in this line that I really like: Sheer Peach Champagne,Sheer Sangria and Sparkling Mauve and they're all really great too. Happy also that they've changed these out of their former navy blue tubes into sleek black ones. Never liked the blue packaging. Anyway great lipstick(s) and will keep buying/trying out more shades in the future.

Holy crap! I dont know what exactly Avon did, but the revamped the lipsticks and they are absolutly amazing! They dont smell or taste funny, they glide on nice, have a wonderful slip to them, very moisturizing and the colour selection is amazing. I bought 14 lipsticks (Im a professional makeup artist) and ALL are beautiful colours! I can't get over how well these are currently made! Will DEFINATLY repurchase!

I LOVE these lipsticks! I have it in Peach Chiffon and Garnet, and both are extremely silky and moisturizing colors. Garnet is a shimmery apple red that isnt garish nor glittery (I HATE glitter!). Peach Chiffon really warms up my PPP skin and makes my blue eyes pop. I also love how cheap Avon lipsticks are (for the amazing quality!) and I love the sparkly blue, fat tube.

I think Avon are seriously under-rated when it comes to the quality of their lipsticks. My everyday shade at the moment is Iced Coffee which is a YLBB brownish pink with bronze shimmer. I love the subtle fragrance and the emmolient texture. The only reason I am taking a lippy off is that the colour swatches are very misleading when ordering from the brochure but they have an excellent returns policy so don't let that put you off.

i love avon lippies, the ultra colur rich in satins and sheers are my favourite lipsticks, sienna, sheer raspberry ice and sheer shimmering bronze are my staples. they are super creamy, moisturize and never fail to make my lips look moist and delicious. they last a decent while on me and for the price i can experiment with lots of colours. I used to be a MAC girl but Avon has switched me over for good.

I've tried a couple shades from this line, Sheer Rose being the first (It's not very sheer, more like a medium shade of pink, I was hoping for a sheer wash of colour and didn't get it from this) and most recently Pink Confidence which I got on sale for $2.99. I'm searching for the perfect bright pink lipstick so I had to try this, its a very bright pink, not exactly neon (sadly lol) but its very bright. The wear on these I think is fantastic and last me a few hours (I usually end up wiping it off before it wears off). The line has alot of variety in colour and they are often on sale.

THIS REVIEW IS FOR THE COLOR "FROZEN ROSE" - I got this from a promo for a whopping $1.99. It's a gorgeous nude-pink-gold shimmer that suits me perfectly. I love this color, it's MLBB w/ shimmer....

I have this in Berry Charm: a nice deep berry with slight shimmer. It's a great fall/winter shade. The texture is little waxy for me.

I'm an Avon grrrly, but I just don't get their lipsticks - EXCEPT NUTRALUSH <- very very awesome- But all their other lippies dry out my lips like crazy!!!! I always have to put lip balm on top of it. Eck.

This was a big disappointment. I bought it in Cherry Jubilee because I was told that it's a great retro color. On me, a PPP, it's a beautiful dark berry and I really like the shade. I gave this one lippie for the color and one because it is really well priced. But unfortunately, after I put it on, even after several blottings, it ended up on my teeth 3 times. In about a half an hour it had bled outside my lipline into the fine lines around my mouth. I'm forty, but usually these lines aren't visible and I don't have this problem with my usual lipsticks (L'oreal, Revlon, MAC). When you wear dark colors you need to be confident that they will stay put, because you can end up looking ghoulish if they crawl outside your lipline. It's a shame because I really like the color, but unless I can control the bleeding with a lipliner I won't get any use from this lipstick.

Dirt cheap especially when on sale and better than any high-end lipstick I've tried such as Mac and Clinique. It's smooth, fragrance free, color rich, and moisturizing. My sis and I loved Earthen Brown and bought dozens before the color was discontinued. Next best brown for us is Linen Brown. Winner product.
