This product is only available online, as far as I can find. It is the ONLY mascara that does not UNCURL my lashes and keeps the curl up. A $30 mascara I buy from high-end makeup counters (Dior, YSL, etc) all thicken and expand but they bring down the curl!
I have to say I use this as a base for the waterproof formula, then use Diorshow or any other lash extending mascara as the 2nd coat. Careful or it'll get clumpy.
It DOES smudge (but not nearly as bad as the discont'd Sky High Curves, which did a marvelous job CURLING lashes actually) so have to let dry between coats and comb out.

Ehhh...this product was okay. I liked the fact that it was extremely waterproof, and that it gave my lashes a lot of volume. However, it kind of gave them a spikey effect, which I didn't like, and the bristles were very tough feeling...I was constantly worried I would scratch my eye with the wand. It was alright...wouldn't repurchase though.

I disliked this mascara. However, I do not remember the pricing exactly, but I bought it as a buy one get one free. It was in a decnt package/ tube. It felt like tough bristles pulling on my lashes (not quite vigorously, but enough to pull my eyelid up just from applying it).

Its a really nice daytime mascara. When I apply it carefully there are no clumps at all. Its not to heavy, 'fake eyelash' looking which I find perfect for school and stays on quite well. Its defiantely well priced and I'd happily buy it again.

I absolutely love this mascara. It's cheap but it works really well. I had been using Sky High Curves which I'd liked, but this mascara was even better. It didn't clump or get dry like the Curves mascara, and it also seperated my lashes better. Overall this is a great mascara since it keeps the curl, is waterproof (great for rain or tears, though a bit hard to get off), and gives amazing length. Also it doesn't seem to flake very much. They discontinued it though, so I'm going to have to find a new favorite mascara. =( It's been tough so far as I've found nothing worthwhile yet.

This was my first HG mascara. I have thick lashes but they're short, this mascara makes my lashes super long. I also love the long bristles on the brush, it really seperates and keeps your lashes looking natural and soft. Also, it is one of the few waterproof mascaras that is easy to remove. I took away on lip because I have found other mascaras that I like better.

This is a nice daywear mascara. It leaves you with a natural look and because it's waterproof it holds the curl well. I don't know whether I'd buy it again since it's nothing special. I think I prefer Rimmel Extra Super Lash Mascara as my everyday mascara to this one.

Fairly decent mascara, but it smudges. It's a good waterproof and only comes off if I shower and its tougher to get out when I'm just washing my face. I won't buy it again because it smudges.

One of the best mascaras I've ever used. Well I haven't used that many kinds of mascara but I'm pretty happy with this.
My lashes are thick to start with, but they're quite short so I read a review on this and decided to try. I wasn't disappointed, but it has a tendency to get on my eyelids perhaps because I curl my lashes first and I try to get the product to the very very ends of my lashes. Or maybe it's the fat brush.
I won't give it a score lower than 4 though because the smearing can be remedied by a q-tip soaked in makeup remover. 4.5 would be more appropriate, I think. Staying power is great, but if you have oily lids like I do, I think you must avoid rubbing your eyes after a few hours.

This mascara irritated my eyes so much that I had to wash it off. I kept it for a while because I thought it was a fluke, but every time I've tried it, it's had the same stinging effect. Maybe it's because I wear contacts, but I do not recommend this.

I have short, very thin eyelashes and have tried (what feels like) every mascara out there - from $.99 mascara's to $35 ones. The waterproof lash expansion has been the ONLY one that has worked for me - it makes my lashes full (I go across at the base first), long and they stay curled. I always have to use a curler, but most mascara's will make them fall back down straight - NOT this one! I wear contacts and have had no problems with flaking, nor have I had it smear. I put loose powder on over my foundation (which I use on my eyelids, too), put my eye makeup, my eyeliner and than the mascara. I have barely any bottom lashes and what I do have are very short, but this mascara stays on and makes it look like I actually have a lot of dark lashes. My problem is that I can't find it anymore!!! I don't know if they quit making it or what but I had to buy it on ebay the last time at a higher price... does anyone know where they still carry this??

This mascara is great if you're going for that natural look with length. It doesn't do much with thickness, but it sure helps with the length. It holds the lash pretty well too. I haven't notice any flaking (unless I rubbed my eyes). The great thing about this product is that it hasn't clumped on me, even when I slob it on. I did find that if I didn't angle my head a certain way, the mascara would cling on my eyelid, as I brushed up on towards my eyelashes. An easy fix is to use any card-like paper, place it in between your lashes, and your eye, and brush your lashes right onto the paper. Anyway, I also do the same for my bottom lashes. Again if you want a thickening mascara, this probably isn't going to be the mascara for you. I like the length of my eyelashes, how it holds the curl, and it's waterproof power.

It's been soggy lately so I wanted a waterproof mascara and ended up getting this one thinking it was something else. It's quite black, and it shows up more than my big orange-tubed one. Unfortunately it also shows up on my lids unless I am very very careful applying it. SInce I usually apply mascara after eyeshadow, I end up having to rub off half the shadow to get it off. It is the only mascara I've ever tried, and there have been a lot, which has irritated my contact lenses. But this one is just really bad for them. So contact lens wearers beware. I want to find a better one than this. Another stop along my way to holy grail.

I have bought Lash Expansion numerous times and I love it for when I want soft, long, defined *daytime* lashes. My natural lashes are average in thickness and short and this mascara gives me realistic length, lash enhancement and definition without looking heavy, sooty or clumpy. For me, this works better than L'Oreal Telescopic. It's also pretty waterproof and it rlasts all day for me, though the tradeoff is that it requires eye makeup remover or a cleansing oil to remove it properly. It also smudges a lot less than other waterproof mascaras I've tried.

I wanted to try this when I was looking into Waterproof Mascaras. This was a no go. Not only does it flake to no end, but it irritated my sensitive eyes! Maybe someone else will have more luck, but it wasn't even worth a second try for me. I found my HG Waterproof mascara in Revlon 3D, which you can go and read my review on as well!

This is a very good waterproof mascara. It stays put, even if I rub my eyes (which I do a lot). It also washes away rather easily, requiring only a little lotion to remove the residue in the under-eye area.
As a mascara in general, though, this mascara is only a little above average (read: 3.5 lippies). It plumps, lengthens and separates my lashes, but not that much more than what I consider an "average" mascara should do. Plus, the results that I described occur only when I first open a tube - not after several uses when there is still a good amount of product left.

This mascara is definitely waterproof. I tend to get teary eyed in the morning and I never see it smeared onto my face. But it does not add length or volume. Even after three coats it looks like I have no mascara on. Well... at least it minimizes the chances for clumping!

Decent drugstore wp mascara... my diorshow bit the dust and i picked this up on the run. Found it for $3 at CVS...
It's waterproof for sure, holds up swimming... and through rain and tears. Gave me allot of definition, a little bit of length. But i'm really looking for volume.
