Unlike most lipglosses that just make my lips look shiny without delivering any color, this is a highly pigmented, sheer gloss with gives my lips a long-lasting red color. Although it looks a bit dark in the tube, it still works for my pale Asian skin. A little goes a long way so be careful not to squeeze too much from the tube. No shimmer but definitely a lot of shine. I would have liked a wand applicator better though instead of a squueze tube.

I love this. It makes a wonderful color and it isn't too shiny or childish.

The color comes out beautifully only if you apply it correctly. Unlike other lipglosses, you must use a tiny little drop and then smear it over your lips. One tiny drop is enough, or you'll end up looking scary.

It is a little thick and hard to smear onto your lips, but that's a small price to pay for the gorgeous color and the fact that it stays on for a very long time.

I once read that this color, Cherry, was the best red for blondes. Well, I agree! The color is a nice, true red. The gloss is rich with color and applies well. It stays on longer than most glosses.
Anytime I wear this, I get compliments. Will buy again!

Cherry is a blue-based red color that shows up as a very wearable red on my pigmented lips. I got a GWP size of this so I really can't comment on the cost. However, the gloss is really drying. It comes out thick in the tube, but when it gets on my lips, there is a lot of streaking and uneven color.

The only reason I haven't tossed this is because it is actually a red that I can wear, so I'll continue to look for a dupe before I toss this.

Cherry is a super pigmented cool red shade that turns pink on me. $20 is a lot for a gloss but what i really hate is the fruity scent. It does fade within a couple minutes, but it still irritates me when i put them on. Sticky but not overly so, lasts as long as a standard gloss(a couple hours) and doesnt last through food. Its a bright shade but the scent and price would make me not repurchase this.

I love this gloss. It comes in a tube, which I don't have as much of a problem with as some reviewers on this site...and I received it in a swap, so I can't really speak about the price of it...

But, I love it. It's a stain for me, and I use it sparingly. You don't need much of it, since it's so highly pigmented (which makes it standout from my other 5,000 glosses that have barely any color).

I don't know what pure fig smells like, but I know what cherry smells like (think cherry candy, not a fresh cut-open cherry), and that's what this smells like to me. I adore the smell.

There's nothing about this gloss that I don't like.

the pigmentation is quite good but unfortunately,it clashed big time on my MMM w/ yellow undertones, C5/C40 skintone.....it looks awful & didnt flatter as much as my lancome star gloss in divine..the lasting power and texture power is not as good as Chanel glossimer's......

I really love this color! Although the gloss texture is a bit sticky, and could get quite messy if applied heavily, it can be beautiful if done with a lighter hand. The vibrancy of the color and its ability to work as a pretty stain if applied more gingerly are big plusses. Its a great holiday color - although probably not a shade that would work for everyone. I will definitely repurchase when I run out of the tester I got as a part of a purchase w/purchase gift.

Hate to be a wet blanket here, but I hate this stuff. The color is really nice, but unless you are putting this on for a limited photo shoot, forget it. The minute you move your mouth, your head, or the rest of your face, this stuff slides all over, bleeds around the mouth, and becomes a big sticky mess. Since it is so richly pigmented, it will leave red stain on everything it touches, and it comes off on everything -- your hands, your collar, your sleeves, cups, glasses, tissues, etc. Anyone wearing a gloss of this texture and this color should be in a bubble. Like all sticky gloss, this is a hair and dirt magnet. Not for use while riding in a covertible.

I'm a sucker for a red gloss and this one is definitely a RED gloss. This is an extremely bright, cherry red. Very pigmented, so I only use a tiny dab and spread it around evenly to get rosy lips. It's more like a stain than a gloss when used in that fashion. Doesn't last any longer than a typical sticky gloss. Didn't notice a scent, figgy or otherwise. No taste. Comes in a squeeze tube with a slant tip applicator. You get a fair/average amount of product. I got this in a swap; I'm not sure if I'd actually go out and buy this since there are a lot of lower end look-alikes. I might swap for it, if I ever run out, but I doubt I will.

ETA: Put it on the other day in daylight and noticed that it looks slightly fuschia on me. So off to the swap pile it goes.

This color was too bright for my medium skin tone and looked off. I didn't like it, but I think it would better on lighter or darker skin tones.

The best red gloss I've come across. Obviously, this very pigmented true cherry red gloss isn't great for everyday, but it's my favourite nighttime colour!

I finally found it - the search is over for my perfect sheer red! Well, actually this can also be an opaque red, but it can easily be made sheer, too. I just love the glossiness without the glitter, the scent (is that what "fig" is? I wondered...), the packaging, the staying power...but most of all, I love that this red doesn't turn fuschia on my yellow-toned PPP skin. This is a great gloss that I'm sure I'll be using for many years.

This is a pretty cherry red gloss, just as the name implies. I didn't have another gloss quite this color of red, so I got it. I would repurchase, but I doubt I'll have to because I don't really wear red shiney lips all that much, mostly in dead of winter.

This is a pretty cherry red that is bright but not over-bright, which is hard to find. You can vary the intensity of color too, by blotting this a touch, or not. The color is very nice - the fig scent of Pure Color lip products - and the tube is well designed (no oozing, like with some wand glosses) and attractive. One of my favorites. I also use it to perk up dark or dull or dry lipsticks.

This is one of my *fave* dramatic red lipglosses. The shade is a medium-sheer cherry red, vibrant without being unwearable. It's not quite as sheer as the other shades of Pure Color gloss, it's more of a medium pigment. Feels silky and has a high shine without being sticky. And I *love* the gorgeous gold and clear packaging.
