I love these eyeliners! Years ago I purchased Black Shimmer having never heard of the brand before, and I ended up loving it. It was my first liquid eyeliner, and admittedly, the only one I've used because I love it so much. I recently went out to repurchase some again since I just ran out of my last one, and came back with it in Black, Charcoal Blue, and Lavender. Black is.. well, black, and a very dark one at that, Charcoal Blue is a tiny bit lighter, and looks like a very dark grey with a touch of blue, and Lavender is a very pretty medium purple. Of all of the colors mentioned, Black is the only one that seems to have no shimmer, as seen in the swatches I uploaded. They stay put with a primer underneath every time, don't fade, and are gorgeous! I have no difficulty in application, but again, these are the only liquid liners I have used.

I'm surprised at the high number of high reviews. The application process was fine, I thought the tip was a bit hard and the initial swipe of color is rather sheer. However, it is nicely buildable, so after I was finished doing a winged eyeliner look, I was quite happy.
My happiness level faded quickly when I looked at my eyes about halfway through my work day, and was mortified by what I saw. The eyeliner had smudged so much, it actually looked like was wearing eye shadow! It covered my entire eyelid.
I'm honestly terrified to use it again because of how it may smudge. I may try it under eye shadow in the future, but I'm a bit nervous.

I love this eyeliner. I first bought it four years ago and have used it ever since. It stays in place and is easy to wipe off if you make a mistake. It only burned my eyes the first time I used it, and it wasn't even that bad at all. Some of the liner had gotten in my eye. If I had to choose between the applicator and my eyeliner brush, I'd go with the brush because it is easier to get finer lines than with the felt tip. To make the liner last longer on your face and help keep it from travelling, use a primer and powder before applying. I just use my foundation with some powder on my eyelid and that works just as well. I definitely will be buying this again in the future.

I bought this eyeliner in lavender at Sally Beauty Supply for about $5.99. I had never used this brand of eyeliner before but purchased because of the color. Let me say that I am a fan of liquid eyeliners, but not this one. I hate the felt tip applicator but this is the case with any brand. I just can't seem to get them to work for me. Upon application the liner stung my eyes and caused them to water a bit. Never a good sign and things generally don't improve from that point on. The color was pretty, sort of a pearl lavender and there was plenty of pigmentation but due to my inability to use the applicator I had to apply several coats to achieve the line I was looking for. I also noted that the eyeliner on my right eye transferred to the crease of my eye where it stayed all day. The staying power of the this product was decent. It stayed where I put it and in the case of the crease, where I didn't put it as well. At this point I would not repurchase this product or this brand of eyeliner. Next time I am going to try it with my MAC liner brush and if I have more success with that method of application I will update this review.

I bought this eyeliner while at Sallys beauty supply, I usually use a different one with a felt tip but this is my new favorite! I do winged eyeliner everyday (which has taken me so much practice) but this one makes it soooo easy to get perfect results with nice dark black color.Takes a little practice to use the stiff brush but Will continue to use!

I really like this eyeliner. I have it in black shimmer. I bought it a few months back as part of a costume, but now use it almost every day. I like the firm applicator; they're hard to find. It stays well, but I find myself making a lot of mistakes because the long handle getting in my way. I got it for between 10-15 dollars at Sally Beauty Supply.

I really dislike this.
Pros: True brown color, cute packaging
Cons: STINGS like crazy whenever I put it on. It's not even near my eyeball, and I immediately start tearing up. Fades, smears like CRAZY, bleeds, smudges. Applicator is huge, and not straight so very hard to get a straight, even line.
Overall, there are many, many better eyeliner out there.

Pros:
Rich color
Doesn't fade
Easy to apply
Cons:
Smear
I have this in black and at the end of a long day, I always find some of this smeared on my browbone (it gets on my eyelashes and works its way up). Other than that, great product for the price

wow i really like this eyeliner! i got it in midnight which is a shimmery navy blue leaning on the lighter side of navy. its easy to apply and yes because it is a little on the thinner side and has a slight sheerness it doesnt show flaws in application as much as deeply pigmented thick kinds ive tried. i am korean and surprisingly the blue makes my eyes pop so much more then black which is what ive used fore over 25 yrs!it dries very quickly so the couple of coats?swipes required to build up the color isnt difficult at all and what i luv iis several coats dont make it look caked thick cracked or crumbly like others because of the thin texture. i am uber sensitive and this did not sting or irritate my eyes at all fyi

The best liquid eyeliner I have used. The brush it comes with is really good, I am able to use it to apply eyeliner in a thin line, or a thick line, and I am also able to do a decent winged eyeliner shape with it- something I have struggled with for years. The staying power is great, even without an eye primer under this lasts the whole day. It's not waterproof, so don't cry. Other than that, a great product! Cheap too. Would definitely recommend.

This was my very first liquid eyeliner and I still like keeping a bottle of it. If you're new to liquid eyeliner usage, it can be a bit awkward, but once you get used to it this stuff's really quick and easy to put on and the wand is comfortable to use. The applicator wand's a good length and the brush is nice and firm while still being soft. You can get really nice cat eyes with this stuff as well as draw other designs. In my experiences, it stays on a good while too. I've gone clubbing with this stuff and while my eyeshadow was faded in the morning, the lines I drew with this eyeliner looked great still. If you're on a budget this liquid eyeliner's great to have.

I've been wearing eyeliner for 3 decades, and this liner is an incredible deal. I don't know how long it will last, but given the (low) price, a week would still make it cheaper than anything else I've purchased and worn. Frankly, it 'feels' like it has enough product in the short shaft to last a while. I normally like a felt tip liner, which I see as a vast improvement over a brush, and this is no exception. The tip loads up nicely, unlike many liners which have too much product or are as dry as a desert (Sephora and Revlon, I'm looking at you) and require too much effort for my routine. This line goes on thinly, opaquely and exactly where I want it. I have spent the last 6 hours in the dust, moving, and my eggplant liner is just as in place as it was when I put it on. When I 1st bought it, I put a line on my wrist and ran the faucet over it. It didn't run, it didn't smudge and I wondered if it was inadvertently water-resistant (which I would have like). When it was wet and I touched it, it came right off. That means it can get a little wet and not run all over your face. I don't understand the critical opinions expressed by other except to think that there is perhaps an (understandable for the price) quality control issue? I'll report back after I've bought more than the 2 I have now (eggplant and black), & used it through all the seasons.

I really like this liquid eyeliner, it is very pigmented, and I find the applicator quite easy to use. I am very new to using liquid eyeliners so finding one that has an applicator that isn't overly flimsy or way too stiff is a challenge. This one has a decent applicator, it didn't leave dreadful smudges on my lids and even if it did, it wipes away easily while its still wet. The lasting power is average, it doesn't flake away, but I could see it easily fading throughout the day. Still, I like it alot and would repurchase :).

I bought this in charcoal blue and the color is pretty nice. A very good mixture of dark gray, with a hint of navy blue. The blue was not overpowering at all, very wearable for an everyday look. It could also mesh well with so many different shadow shades.
The liquid is a good consistency. Didn't drip, wasn't runny while applying or after. Dried quickly and didn't budge.
down side is that the applicator pretty much sucks. It's a pretty awkward shape. Much thicker than any liquid eyeliner brush I'd ever seen, extremely firm and it made the process of applying very unpleasant.
It's very hard to control the thickness and I had to make the line much more thick than I had wanted due to me having no other real choice. Didn't look bad but it would be nice to have more control over the product.
I suppose I'll have to work around the brush but it's worth it for this liner.
I'm going to try other shades as well.

This is one of my favorite liquid eye liners and use it on a daily basis, however when you first purchase the liner, (I have discovered myself), the tip of the liner can be pretty sharp and therefore it does not apply the color on too well. The trick to getting the color on precise and evenly is to use the tip of the liner and write or smuge it on a paper until the tip gets soft. Once that is done, it applies on great and doesnt poke your eyelid as does. That's just my tip for this liner. ;)
This is not a waterproof liner so it would smuge if you get it wet, but other than that if you don't mess with it, it will stay perectly in place. And of course you have to wait at least 30 sec or so after applying for it to dry. I've used this on all skin types and it compliments well with each individual. I've only tried and am interested in the pure black one. If you are looking for a liner worth the buck, I'd go with this one!

This is the only good liquid liner I've ever used. And it's beyond good. I use it in black, but I've also tried it in purple, which is beautiful too. It's really not that smudgey, guys. And the applicator is PERFECT. I always get the most perfect line with this. Great buy.

This was the first liquid eyeliner I ever purchased. Pigmentation is great for the price, and stayed on for most of the day. I'm not a big fan of its thin-handled point tip applicator though- I think pen liquid eyeliners are better to work with now. Regardless, this has got to be one of the better point tip liners from the others I have tried.
