Grind is a really pretty pale pink eyeshadow with silver sparkles. Yes, the glitter is very big and very noticeable. But the effect is very pretty! The color itself is the perfect light baby pink that doesn't wash you out or make you look like you have pink eye. Pinks can be hard to use, but this one is really lovely. Fallout from the large pieces of glitter is almost inevitable using Grind, but careful application can lessen the fallout. When first applied, the silver glitter is very obvious, but as the day goes on this fades to the prettiest slightly-frosted light pink. The glitter is still there, but not as in-your-face. I usually use this as a highlight with light purple or light brown shadows, but today I wore this alone all over my lid and it looked gorgeous on its own! It created the perfect pinky nude eye to wear with a baby doll face -- bright pink cheeks and lips. I don't see this on Sephora or Urban Decay's websites anymore, so this color may be gone, which is a shame. I've put a considerable dent in my Grind and I don't want to run out! If you manage to find this anywhere, I'd say try it out, despite all the negative reviews. It's really not as bad as everyone says.

This eyeshadow was the first UD shadow, I ever purchased. I still love it. There are some negatives to address though.
-There are a ton of big chunks of glitter in this color.
-There is a lot of fall out.
-The packaging is pretty flimsy and easy to break.

All that being said, it's such a fun color and I love using it in the inner corner of my eyes. I just have to be super careful to not get it 'in' my eyes :P

Pretty shade, but I had tons of fallout from the (larger than normal) pieces of glitter. When I put it on it didn't show up too well on my skin, which is olive with yellow undertones. I recommend this for those of you with lighter/fair skin as I think it would compliment you, but for me...yikes!

Urban Decay's GRIND is a beautiful iridescent baby pink with silver glitter. A perfect base shade for my n15 skin tone. I wouldn't recommend GRIND for darker skin tones.

The quality of Urban Decay's eye shadows is unbeatable; the colours are so unique, well pigmented, easy to blend and they last all day.

I've removed a lipstick as GRIND is quite glittery, so there will nearly always be a bit of glitter fallout. I usually avoid glitter, but the base color flatters my skin tone and brightens my eyes, that I'll keep on wearing GRIND.

The application of GRIND is very important; it really reduces the fallout. ALWAYS use primer potion (or shadow insurance) and apply GRIND with a finger using a patting motion, as opposed to sweeping motions with a brush. This gently pushes the shadow into the primer, so it sticks to the skin better.

If a bit of the glitter still falls onto your cheek before you leave the house use a bit of sellotape to remove it, don't try to rub it off with a wet wipe of cotton wool.

Grind is a perfect pale baby pink base of my light skintone. It has quite a bit of silver glitter in it. I use w/ UDPP and it lasts all day.

I like to use this as a highlighting shade with a dark or black smokey eye. Looks great with UD Oil Slick. I also prefer to apply the UD shadows that have glitter with a slightly dampened brush, I dampen mine with either MAC Mixing Medium or Fix + spray. I don't think this color is low-pigmented; after applying this way I looked at it several times in natural light, and it's a beautiful silvery light pink with a lilac iridescence to it and glitter. In some light, it can look almost grey instead of pink so it has a bit of a color shift to it. The glitter is there, though so you need to be aware of it, and if it's going to bother you to have even a little glitter fallout, I would not recommend it, because typically, even if you apply wet, there is some (which can usually be corrected with a nice fluffy powder brush). I think the UD eyeshadow packaging is cute, lasts well, but it's a bit bulky for my makeup drawers. This will last me forever, but like their other great highlighting shades, I'll repurchase this if I run out.

I usually like UD shadows, but not this one. Very pale pink with silver glitter..that falls all over the face & the pink in this makes me look sickly. It's HORRIBLE. Please skip this one unless you plan on using it ALOT. Waste of $$$

I have had this in my collection for years. i got it out a week ago and applied it over the Primer Potion with a bristle brush rather than foam applicator. OMG! This looks sooooo nice. A lovely baby pink with glitter! <3

I love this color. It's such a pretty glittery, shimmery, pale pink. The glitter is a bit messy, but using it just barely wet helps get the glitter on and gives it a little more staying power. It makes for a nice highlighting shade with my green eyes and PPP skin.

I really like this color... a very pretty shade of pink. But sometimes when I apply it, the glitter just goes everywhere. And it's chunky glitter and sometimes hard to get off with makeup remover. Probably won't repurchase again.

The shade of very light pink is pretty, but I wanted to use it on the inner corners of my eyes, and because of the chunky glitter, it just does NOT work, way too messy, which is a shame because the shade of light pink was just perfect. oh well.

For some reason, UD shadows seem to be hit or miss. The colors with glitter, tend to have a dryer texture, and are less pigmented. This one is very pigmented, but slightly dry. Its a baby pink with some peachy tones to it and silver glitter. The silver glitter wipes right off, or falls on your face without a base.

These are by far the best eyeshadows ever. This one is a baby pink with silver glitter. Its soft to. The packaging is wicked cool. Its silver and has like a clear spot at the top where you can see the shadow. Will re-purchase in several colors.

Pretty irridescent light pink with glitter. Sort of reminds of MAC Fairylite pigment, but more pink. Looks pretty when paired with Grifter. Only problem is the glitter, but if applied wet it isnt an issue :)

This is an "iridescent pink with silver micro-sparkles." It's not terribly pigmented and the texture is rather hard. It needs to be layered to show up, but when it finally does, it's quite pretty. Even so, I would not repurchase this.

This is my favorite UD shadow due to its uniqueness. I usually can't wear pink shades (olive NC35) as they make me look sleepy. This one is an iridescent baby pink with a hint of lilac and silver sparkles. I love using this as a wash with grifter in the crease. Looks very girly :D

Lovely baby-pink, but what makes it unique is the silver microglitter. Applied wet, this is just stunning. As a wash it is more special than any other light pink wash. Glitter generally stays put, great color! Great shadow!

MAC NW15 to 20, hazel/green eyes, medium brown hair with a little gray (LOL): I love Urban Decay eyeshadows anyway, and Grind is no exception. It's a very light pink with a subtle silver microglitter, and it gives a nice "wash" to my eyes. I wear it swiped on my lids up to my brows, gradiating the color from darker to lighter, with mascara when I want a fresh, lightly made-up look.
