I would give this a 3.5 bad that wasn't an option but i got this at walmart i think for $4 or $5. I bought this when my cousin when she told me how good it was. I picked it up and i think it is pretty good it is better than most of the eyeliners at the drugstore. it lasts better on the upper lashline than the waterline. It doesn't really smudge but it does kind of transfer down at the waterline a little but its not too noticeable. overall i do give this eyeliner a thumbs up. im not too overly crazy over because i just don't like to touch up but its pretty long lasting for the price you pay for. I would purchase this again if i was low on money.

I had the Urban Decay 24/7 eyeliner, and this smudged less that that. My big complaint is that it doesn't completely stay on my waterline and that it breaks easily. (maybe that's just me.)

I think this is a good eyeliner and I have it in a few colors, my favorite being the ocean blue. It is not waterproof by any means but it lasts a long time compared with other D/S liners. I like the smudger on the end of it for a more sultry look. I have sensitive eyes and this does not irritate them at all-it's affordable and comes in a lot of pretty colors!

So when i first bought the product i really liked it, it was well pigmented, smooth and didn't pull on my eyes. But after an hour or so it smudges on my eyes like crazy! At first i thought it was because i applied it on my waterline so i applied it only on the eyelid, however it smudged to the top of the lid right in the middle to the outer/lower corner of my eyes! Definitely wont be buying it again!

If you happen to have oily eyelids do not expect miracles, this has smudged under my eyes on a warm day. But having said that I still like this eyeliner, maybe because I am used to having eyeliner smudging on me and this one has been the least problematic. I usually combat that problem by putting pressed powder on after lining them. There is a little smudger on the other end, which has helped create a sexy smoky look, and I recently discovered that when you pull the little foam smudger out, there is a tiny sharpener! Obviously to help create a sharper point. I have purchased this over three times! Its very good.

Quite happy with this eyeliner for the price! I own it in black and sable brown. I was concerned that the sable wouldn't be dark enough, as the outside color of the stick shows a medium brown, but it goes on like more of a dark brown, which I prefer. It's long lasting, which I need, as I have sensitive eyes that water, but it doesn't irritate them in the least.

SOOO. i got this eyeliner is precious gold. I overall don't use black eyeliner on waterline and occasionally on top of my lid because it takes too much time to remove. However, i LOVE gold eyeliner especially on my skin tone which is like NC30. Moreover if your a person who uses concealer and takes pictures and you don't use mascara, eyeliner or eyeshadow you then realize that your eyes have no dimension. SOOO i like to use gold eyeliner to add that dimension.
ANYWAYS, lets talk about the product. I LOVE THIS EYELINER because it is true to its color. its like the perfect gold eyeliner. however the color is not super pigmented therefore i like it.
READ THIS PART: IMPORTANT: ALSO, a majority of people use brown and black eyeliner for their waterline or to line their eyes in general. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS if you are going to line your eye or waterline because it is quite hard to use. I WOULD BUY this eyeliner for the color but overall i think there are better eyeliners out there. I just liked this for the gold.

OMG what a great liner this is, dirt cheap and as good or better than some of my UD and MAC liners!!!! I got this in Emerald, a gorgeous blue/green that makes my eyes pop and can't wait to get this in other colors since there is an array of colors to choose from. These do sell out though especially when they are on sale, so if you can find these, stock up!

i'm like obbessed with eyeliners&&im looking for the right one that will last all day on my waterline... ((btw, if anybody knows which one might work, please lmk))
anywho, this one was suppose to last all day. so point uno, got it in noir... not black enough for me. i was hoping for something a little more potent. point dos, did not apply smoothly, kinda skipped, so i ended up having to go back.
i did like the retractable sense to it. but ultimately, it did not last at all. which is what i wanted. therefore. will not repurchase....

This product is really good and it lasts a long time :) Out of all the eyeliners I've tried this is my favourite non-liquid!

This is an average eyeliner. It goes on smoothly and it like how it is automatic and you can twist up or down (unlike the maybelline stylist that can only go up). I have oily lids, and if i put it on my top eyelid, somehow, it transfers to beneath me lower lashes, and then i look like i have large eye bags (this is after maybe 4 hours or so). This eyeliner is go for on the go, and when you are rushing in the morning., like when i don't have time to put on my stila smudge pot eyeliner (best eyeliner ever!). Lots of eyeliners smudge but this one is okay-ish. I always keep one of each type of eyeliner with me at all times in case. so i guess this eyeliner isn't too bad for an automatic

I absolutely love this liner. Its really opaque and easy to use. I always get a really even thin line and its easy to wing out as well. Would definitely buy again. Never smudges, stays on forever

This was the first eyeliner I ever bought. It went on smoothly and was black, and I liked it. I forgave it even when it smudged after a measly hour, and said that all eyeliner smudges anyway. I'm asian with monolids (hidden double lids, but you can't tell), and it smudges awfully towards the tail of my eye where I wing it out. My skin isn't oily, and I don't sweat. I ended up throwing this out and getting another eyeliner. The only pro to this eyeliner is that it's a creamy black. But it SMUDGES!! I would never buy this again and I'm surprised I held on to it for so long.
*edit**
I've moved onto gel liners + eye primer combo. Those of you searching for a non-smudging liner... Get an eye primer!!! They're not just for eyeshadows! It works wonderfully & makes the eyeliner more pigmented too.

I LIKE this eyeliner...not love it. It's not good for the summer because i have alot of stuff going on and it just smedges a lot after a while. I have it in light brown so it makes me look like i have mild racoon eyes..which i hate!! But i always set it with eyeshadow so it stays on better. But if you don't do a lot of sweating in the summer or whatever season, then give this eyeliner a try :)

It's all right. I've used better, but I like it for when I don't feel like putting tons of make up on. Usually use it under liquid liner.

I have these in black, sable and deep ocean. I use the sable more than the black or the blue, but sometimes define the outside corners of my eyes with either blue or black. The brown is a lovely, warm and not-too-dark brown. It goes on without skipping and stays put, but washes off fine. A little creamy in texture, it doesn't look dry when finished. I also line under my upper lashes - looks great with blue eyes. For the price, high recs here for these colors. I'd also like to see this liner is a subtle, slate bue. The packaging is annoyingly hard to open, though! Use scissors or you'll wreck you manicure.

Stocked up on Aubergine, Pine, and Ocean. All of them are spectacular colors that I love, they all go on smoothly and are pigmented. They show up great on my NC25 skin. My only problem is staying power (docked 2 lippies)...they won't stick to my oily lids without Sephora's Eyeliner Last, but I'm willing to complete the extra step for the gorgeous color they have. I'm sad that Aubergine is impossible to find now, though, esp. since I lost mine. If you can find it, it does wonders for brown eyes.

=)
Great overall.
i used it in steel and smudged for an amazing smokey-looking eye without it being too dark.
the pine and aubergine are awesome fun colors, and it's easy to put on.
the only negative about this eyeliner is that the cap is hard to keep on, because you have to push really hard to get it to click into place.
rimmel is a good drugstore brand with nice quality.
