Received a sample size with an Ulta gift bag filled with samples. Perhaps it's an issue with the sample squeeze tube, but one small squeeze and a lot of product comes out. I didn't like this because I felt like I was wasting product :(
The texture is light (though, I prefer creams). For an SPF product, it doesn't smell like one (compared to Neutrogena sunblock formula). The product is what it is - a light moisturizer with SPF, nothing amazing or face-changing for me.
The scent was what bothered me the most. I can't pinpoint what scent it is, but it reminded me of nature/plants. It wasn't a perfume/sweet scent. It wasn't a clean/fresh scent. I just know it wasn't pleasant =P

If you have oily skin or deal with makeup meltdown because of it (or due to your makeup and moisturizer maybe), this cream really knocks out that problem for me. I don't know why or how or what ingredient is so effective, but it really keeps oil at bay so well and my makeup really stays put with this underneath it. Negatives are that for a 1.4 oz tube, I don't see why it can't cost a bit less than $36 at Sephora. Put it in an actual bottle and make it more cost effective and I would be totally sold. Also it is not ideal for this time of year. It wouldn't be best for dry winter skin if you have it; not really hydrating enough. Still an impressive cream though for how well it banishes oil. Please someone just lower the price or make it more worth the price by offering it in a larger size.

Heads up ladies! (and gents who bother to research their skincare items!) This product contains an ingredient Bishydroxyethyl biscetyl malonamide which, i quote "is regarded as a reproductive toxin and in Europe it was banned under the Cosmetic Directive 76/768/EEC". However it seems only Boscia's face creams contain this ingredient, if u do a search on the Cosmetic Database for harmful ingredients in skincare. Its not listed as a harmful source, but if its banned in Europe it must be for a good reason!!
So pls don't be fooled by its "natural" claims, companies can still add harmful chemicals to creams!

While my skin tends to be dry, it's sensitive to moisturizers that are too oily or creamy (face breaks out). I tried this product as a sample and then went on to buy the full-size.
Pros:
1) Lightweight, absorbs quickly, and does provide a matte finish
2) Even though it has SPF, it's not thick and sunscreen-like
3) Comes in a hygienic pump
Cons:
1) Not enough moisture for the winter. But bear in mind my skin is dry. May not be great for combo skin where you have dryness too
2) I'm not a big fan of the smell. I used this product for quite a while but couldn't get used to it
3) Pricey for the small amount. I needed about 1.5 pumps for my face, so the 30mL doesn't last long at that rate (less than 6 months)
4) Towards the end, the product is hard to get out. It's a pump, but it's one of those where the product has to be closer to the pump end and so I'd have to squeeze hard upside down (on both of the tubes i purchased).
I eventually moved on to Dior's Hydra-Life Pro-Youth SPF fluid. It works better for my dryness, I need less and it comes in a bigger bottle even though a bit more expensive.

Absorbs very quickly, has matte finish, however, it feels a bit heavy in my pores. I like this product but I would use it in less humid, cooler days. In humid, hot days it's not that miraculous.
4 star for matte finish, Not 5 stars for a bit heavy feeling. Do give it a try.

I've found the perfect moisturizer for me! It's lightweight, has an spf, and really helps with my oily skin. My favorite thing about this product is that after it drys, my skin doesn't spout ludicrous amounts of oil again like it does with other moisturizers. My skin actually stays dry, yet soft. And after living my whole life with very oily skin...this felt like the answer to my prayers. It's pricey, yes, but so worth it to me. Plus, no preservatives!

I love this moisturizer. Having oily skin, it was hard finding a moisturizer/sunscreen that wouldn't leave a greasy film over my face, despite being labeled oil-free. This one, however, absorbed almost instantly and disappeared, no heaviness or residue. I also enjoy the smell, which is very natural due to the all natural ingredients. No preservatives is a huge plus! The only downside for me is the price of $36 for 1.4 oz, but I have to splurge on it anyway.

I live in a hot, humid country, and have very oily skin, open pores you name it...I find this mosturiser great for day time hydration, beneath my makeup. It goes on extremely light, so I guess this very lightweight mosturiser might not work for some people. I do use heavier mosturisers at night but for day this is pretty good and doesn't cause an oilslick by midday. I use Avene's thermal water before putting this on in the morning.

When I tried this product I found it to be too drying. I have oily skin but I still needed more moisture than this product had to offer. I would recommend this product for teen skin that is very oily and prone to break outs.

I have oily skin and I am always looking forward to trying oil free moisturizers with spf. This feels light weight but when i apply a primer and foundation on top of it, it balls up. Nope i dun recommend this product.

First off, the smell is horrible! it is really strong and I just don't like it. Secondly, throughout the day my skin becomes extremely oily when I use this.

I got a sample of this at Sephora and was excited to try something natural and light. However, this moisturizer did nothing for me. It's very liquid-ish and it did not moisturize my skin at all. it smells a bit like soil/roots. I have dry skin, but I can't use something overly creamy or oily or I'll break out. I gave it two lippies because this product did not irritate my skin or break me out, but for how much it costs and the results I got, I will not purchase this product.

Only after about 15 minutes of applying this to my face, my face became very oily! I gave two points only because it is a natural product and it absorbed quickly.

This moisturizer was OK. I have oily skin so I am always looking for a light oil-free moisturizer. This was definitely on the drier side. It did not add any extra oil to my skin which was a bonus. But even though I have oily skin, I still want my skin to feel soft and moisturized. I did not get this feeling from this product. During the winter months, it provided no moisture at all. Waste of money.

I got a big sample of this and decided to give it a try. I was really impressed with how it kept greasiness at bay, and I feel like the sunscreen is more effective when the product doesn't slide off my face in an hour. I have seen some of the "pilling" some other reviews mention, but I have to rub my face pretty hard to get that effect. It makes a good primer under my tinted moisturizer and my foundation. The smell does take getting used to, but it's not bad, just kind of herbally (like Aveda products). I've bought full-size tubes since Boscia was having a sale, so I guess I'm committed!

I'm so on the fence with this product! I can't decide if I love it or not...
First off, the packaging. I think it's cute, simple packaging. I thought it was going to be a squeeze tube but it's actually a pump bottle! I like to be able to stand all of my product up in a little basket under my sink. This one will stand up, but it's so skinny that it often falls over. I mean, it's not a big deal, but it just gets annoying, haha.
I love the smell of this product! At first I hated it but it really has grown on me. It smells like a combination of dirt and fruit loops. Sounds gross but once you use it, it's yummy :)
I HATE the price! It's only 1oz for $36. I mean, it could be worse but still.... I'm cheap! I usually use about two pumps for my face. I have normal to oily skin so this is a nice light-weight day moisturizer. It soaks in super quickly. It's only SPF15 but that's enough for me since I usually try to stay out of the sun.
Although I said yes to repurchasing this product, I'm not too sure if I will. I mean, it works well but it's not amazing. It smells good but I don't know if I can justify $36 just for the scent.

Really, I should have rated this a 3 because of the price... but I can't because this is one of the scarce few moisturizers that doesn't leave me oily as hell or broken out. I mix this with my foundation to make a short of tinted moisturizer. Wish the SPF was higher. I will say that the tube should last me at least 6 months (one pump is usually enough for my whole face). 3.5 stars.

I am still searching for the perfect oil free matte moisturizer, and several Sephora staff recommended this. I was surprised (and worried) by the many negative reviews on MUA, but I've been very pleased with this so far!
Positives: It works very well for my extremely oily face but does provide some moisture for my drier t-zone. It works very well as a mattifier. I really like the pump-style dispenser.
Negatives: It's expensive. My skin does feel a little tight when I first put it on, but that only lasts for a minute or two. It smells like...crushed aspirin or some other sort of medicine. Not particularly good, but I've smelled worse.
Overall, I like it - it performs better than I expected and does not cause me to break out. I will most likely buy this again while still looking for that HG moisturizer.

I went to Sephora few days ago and the sales person suggested this moisturizer. I am very sensitive to new creams, lotions etc, many of them make me breakout but she said this one wouldn't. So I got a sample and tried it yesterday and today. I do not like much the texture, but I like that it's very light and dries kind of fast. Probably it is not a very good moisturizer as my skin is still dry an dflaky afterwords. I do not like that it has SPF in it and it smells horrible. I will keep looking for something better.
