This cream makes a fantastic night cream for dry and sensitive skin.
I am on my third tub of this cream after trying numerous others. It soothes and hydrates my flaky dehydrated skin. It does take a while to absorb so be careful with you pillowcases!
IRS very thick but a little goes a long way.
The packaging isn't very hygienic being a tub but other than that i think its fab!

Distinctly average moisturiser. Off-putting, gloopy consistency. Used sparingly, may be compatible with combination skin in terms of basic hydration delivery. But don't expect much more from it.

I have dry and moderately sensitive skin. I really wanted to like this cream but after persisting for 3 days using it as a night cream, my skin is red and prickly and very dry. I felt like I'd been smothered in wax and polished, like an apple in the supermarket. My skin looks shiny and dewy on the outside but feels very dry underneath. Very disappointing for a cream that's supposed to help dry and sensitive skin. An overhyped product and a waste of money. This cream consists mainly of waxes which just sit on the skin making it look shiny, but not actually moisturising.

I have searched for years for my HG moisturizer for my dry skin. This is it! It is very rich and very thick. This sinks into my skin much better than La Mer ever did. If you have dry skin, get a sample of this and see for yourself!
The only part that I don't like is the price at $75--which is why I wait for sales.

Simultaneously a dose of Vitamin C, a skin-hangover cure, a cheater’s alternative to 8 hours of sleep, a flying remedy and an undereye cream. And god knows I am in desperate need of all the above. Superb.
Very rich, so best for overnight use and/or dry skins.

I really really love the rose scent of this product - and thats about the only thing i love about the cream. it smells amazing and gets me everytime. however, that is basically about the only reason why i use this cream. the scent is a great pick me up. dont get me wrong, its not that the cream itself is bad. its nice and thick and absorbs very well. makes my skin feel supple and moisturized. just that there are other face creams out there that does the same thing for a half the price. this isnt really extraordinary, just average.

I was really wary about trying that as I have combination/oily skin and I break out from ultra heavy creams. However, I recently moved to a much colder country and my skin has been feeling rather dull from the travelling and the weather. So, I put this on following the instructions and it did feel a little sticky but not too annoying. The next morning my skin was baby smooth and glowing. I would not use that every day but as a special moisturiser in case you need a little extra in your usual skincare routine. I used up a sample and I am considering buying the full size.

If you have dry skin then go for it but I must say it is VERY thick (Nivea creme thick) and can be abit sticky. On the whole, I didn't like it that much, and won't repurchase. Nice smell though.
EDIT: (Update). Originally I was not very impressed with this cream but I ended up trying it again over the holidays. I now understand why it is my mother's favourite. It does seem to have that 'ah thank you feeling' on the skin, and it does plump up the cheeks very much. Does it hydrate very dry skin types? Yes it does. Having used La Mer for a long time, I can safely say, for me, the soothing (and hydrating) effects are noticeable. I would buy this again. For those who are looking for a cheaper alternative to La Mer, or just a good cream for dry winter skin, I recommend this.

Have to say - i've tried (almost) everything from cheap to extortionate in the realm of moisture and I always come back to this. Yes - it is thick but goes a long way.
I drink, smoke and am 31, when I use this cream I get compliments daily on how great my skin looks, when I don't use it, I don't get the compliments. A jar lasts me nearly a year so it is cost effective and nothing, especially with my sensitive, prone to dry out skin, can compare. This time of year especially i have a central heating/cold weather skin nightmare not any more. It smells great and love how my skin feels.
Not for oily skin but a treat for mine. Love love love it.

This is a night cream from Eve Lom. I found it had a nice rich texture and does notably moisturise overnight. It's a bit draggy to apply but doesn't sit too heavy which is surprising. However when I woke up my pores looked really really enlarged which I hated. Maybe it's better on other skin types, but at it's price, I suppose I expected something better. I'm certain there are other night creams that do the same for a lot less.

Rich moisturising cream which is good for dry skin in winter. It smells of roses. It is absorbed well and a little goes a long way.

This product smells gorgeous. It's one of those rose sort of smells that really makes me feel better so this alone would be a reason to buy it again. It's a very heavy cream and as I have combination skin, I only use around my eyes or any patches that need an extra moisture boost. It does needto be warmed on the fingers before putting on the face, else it might tug on the skin as you try to spread it.

I found this way too cloying, sticky and very difficult to apply. I think a Rose Facial oil is far more effective.

I adore rose otto which is the oil in this cream that makes it smell so divine. However, rose otto or no rose otto, this is a rubbish product. It's far too thick and, no matter how much warming, it never gets to a sensible texture to apply - and who wants to be dragging at their skin? Plus, it doesn't even really moisturise - it just sits there like a pudding on the surface of your skin. Like the majority of Eve Lom products to my mind, this is all about hype and nothing to do with performance.

I adore this cream! I also use the Eve Lom Cleanser, and use the TLC after cleansing at night. I have sensitive skin, which is also very dry and eczema prone and this cream has worked wonders on hydration for me. I was using the Day Cream as well, but found it to be too light for me. However, I shall continue with the cleanser and TLC cream as I am delighted with the results.

I received this item in the Eve Lom starter kit & have been using this as my eye cream & I love it. Very rich & non-irritating for the winter months. For the day time I use this sparingly b/c I don't want my concealer to crease. Would buy if less expensive.

I have really, really dry skin. Flaky, red and irritable, it doesn't do well in winter. I switched from dr hauschka rose day cream which i use in the summer to this when the weather gets cold. It really rich, maybe a little sticky for some. It has a similar gorgeous rose smell though. I love it so far: no bad reactions, silky skin, divine smell and a little goes a long way (well that's how i justify spending so much on face cream haha). It's supposed to be a treatment thing i think but i just use it as a moisturiser day and night. Probably too heavy for most, but great for me.

Extremely thick face cream - very moisturizing, although better suited to dry/ very skin, so works well for me.
Good points - little bit goes an awfully long way, so one pot will last forever. Also, very soothing to my poor central heating & rosacea suffering face.
Downsides: Expensive.
Plus, product does not absorb into the skin very easily - it feels a bit gluelike.
The cream also has a very strong rose scent.

I haven't slept propery for more than a month. Plus I smoked and drink a lot, as a result, my skin started drying out. It looked so terrible!
I started using TLC cream for the night treatment. The first time I used it, it worked like a miracle. The next morning when I woke up, my skin was so smooth and all those pimples and flaky parts are gone!
However, the only thing I do not like about it is that it is sooooo oily. Apart from that this TLC cream is perfect.

I love this as a night treatment about 1-2 times a week or when my skin is struggling! A lovely rose fragrance... very thick, but you just need to use a little and gently pat it on to the skin... it doesn't smooth over the skin like a cream or lotion.
