I agree with what the others are saying about Torrid being the orgasm for bronze and chocolate ladies! I'm so happy I purchased this blush along with amour! amour shows up more pink while this blush is pinky coral with a little shimmer. I love it and will repurchase over and over again!

this looked great while I was a bit tanner but now that i'm pale, it's not as flattering. it shows up as a corally/orangy (corange?) color on my skin right now and i find that I have to be really careful with the application or else i'll look a little bit ruddy and dirty. very pigmented though and i think on a darker complexion it would look really nice

This is a lovely coral blush with red undertones and gold shimmer and is super pigmented. It's a beautiful blush but it's not original. I feel like it can be duped easily which is why I probably would buy again (that and the fact that I want to try more Nars blushes). While I have it though, I'm enjoying it a lot and I think it'll last me a very long time because I only need a light hand to apply

I've been using this blush forever and I love it so much! Totally worth the price. I use it almost everyday, yet I still have a lot of product left. A sales rep recommended this color for my skin tone (which is a MAC NC30-35) and I haven't found another that I've liked more than this one. Stays on well, applies well, and the packaging is great although it starts to get dirty and difficult to clean after a while. If anyone knows a good way to clean NARS packaging, let me know!

I am NC45 for reference and have yellow undertones. Love this color. Packaging is great too as the compact comes with a mirror.

This is my daily go-to blush. Even though I am very fair, I like a bright flush and this is the perfect shimmery pink-coral that pops without looking cheap. The price is well worth it, I have used it every day for years and haven't even hit pan yet. It wears well too, sometimes I need a retouch after an 8 hour day but not too much.

This is my first ever NARS blush purchase, and I am very happy with it. I was trying to decide among Deep Throat, Amour, and Torrid. I ruled out Deep Throat for now (I'll probably purchase sometime later), since I wanted something more unique in my collection. Torrid and Amour look like they'd be in similar color families. While they both have that warm pink theme going on, they looked quite differently on my skin. Amour kind of looked drab as it pulled more brown/rose on my NC27/NARS Fiji skin. Torrid, however, worked its voodoo and brightened my complexion like I've never seen. NARS' description of this shade is fairly accurate. I'd call it a medium pink-coral with orange undertones. It's a shade that I recommend for warm toned people if you're looking for something that's more than just a "safe" color. As with most NARS blushes, this one is very pigmented. A couple light taps with my MAC 187 is enough for one cheek and enough to last all day. I finally see the hype surrounding NARS blushes and I will buy more shades.

Warm skin's answer to NARS Orgasm ! I wear this during the day and at night, its really versatile and sheer when applied with a light hand. it lasts and really does look spectacular.

Highly pigmented, coral blush. This is a no nonsense blush that requires very gently patting with a 187 or 188 or 130 in order to get a full face flush! why wont I buy it again? I just dont think this is in the category of HG for me. Is it worth having in your make up staple? Sure! You have to try it once to see where Im going with this.

NARS describes Torrid as warm coral. Beautiful! I am NW25 and lesser pigmented coral family powder blushes by other brands tend to either disappear on me or strike a nasty chalky color. Not Torrid! NARS is my hg of blush in general-they "get" color, "get" texture and "get" pigment. Another home run for NARS! Retails about $28USD. Would definitely repurchase, but that will be a while from now as NARS pans have a lot of product and are well pigmented so you don't need to use a lot to get a gorgeous shade. As with all NARS blush, do not go by the color in the pan-in pan this appears a dark apricotish color, but on the skin you definitely see coral. My love affair with NARS blush continues...

Everybody talks about Orgasm being amazing, but this is much better for warm skin tones. You don't need to apply much as it is very well pigmented. The sparkle in it is just perfect, not too much at all. It is expensive, but it suits me so well I don't think I really need any other blushers. Looks great under bronzer too. Perfect blusher for me, but it really depends on your skin tone. Nars seems to have a blush to suit everyone.

Loving NARS blushes! I would describe Torrid as a slightly darker version of NARS' Deep Throat, it's still got that slight gold shimmer through it - but hardly noticable, only when it catches the light. It's such a beautiful colour that's well pigmented. I'd recommen this for girls who have a medium/tan skin tone where Deep Throat doesn't really show up on the skin (like me). This works really well to give you that natural look or you can build it up to suit your look.

This is a great warm coral blush from NARS. It does have a shimmer to it but I can hardly tell once applied and blended out. I'm more of a bronzer-only girl, but when I feel like a look needs blush, this is usually the one I reach for.
This shade has great pigmentation. A light dab of the product per cheek is definitely enough. Torrid looks amazing on tanned skin and is my go-to blush during summer. However, I notice that this is not all that long-lasting. After about 3 hours in school, I looked in the mirror and could hardly tell I was wearing any cheek colour. I had set it with MAC Prep and Prime Finishing Powder immediately after application.
Gorgeous colour and pigmentation, I just wish it lasted longer on my skin.

I was torn between buying this and Gilda. Unfortunately, I'd have to go to Neiman Marcus to swatch Gilda or buy it online and deal with the hassle of a return. I read that these two are very close and that the only difference was the shimmer. I'm really glad I went with this-- the shimmer particles blend in very well once applied, and it imparts a beautiful glow rather than creating a disco ball effect. There's something about it that gives the face warmth and dimension that I'm not sure I could have achieved with Gilda. It's one of those things that can make you put together but not made up (if you use a light hand, obviously). For reference, I'm NC35. Tanned girls need to get this!

Depending on which brush I use, this can go very orange. But with a light hand it comes out a really nice peachy flush, which definitely makes my winter-pasty face look much healthier. Far better than Orgasm or Deep Throat, which were both too cool/blue to ever work for me.

I absolutely love this blush. It blends so well and looks very delicate with the tiny bronze flecks in it. I use a regular bamboo Ecotools blush brush to apply, and a tissue to blot off any excess colour. The result is my favourite cosmetic, a must for any occasion. It's pricey but does not compare to any other brand from a drug store. I would recommend this shade for naturally tanned women who wish to achieve that sweet, sophisticated look with very little effort. I will definitely buy this shade again.

I adore Nars blushes. I have sin, orgasm, luster and deep throat. That being said, I hated this one. For some reason, it just looked off. It was much harder to apply naturally & smoothly than the other colors i have. The color was ok overall, but I'm definitely returning and going back to deep throat.

I've finally come around to NARS blushes having dismissed them a decade ago after the Orgasm hype. Orgasm never worked for me, but a lot of the other colors in this line do. I wish I'd discovered that before the price shot up to $27 a pop, though. Geez.
It's money well spent, though. I've bought and tossed numerous blushes because they look chalky, clownish, don't blend, or because the color isn't quite right. There's something about NARS, though, that once you find the right shade, look incredibly sophisticated and natural at the same time - and they blend and build like a dream.
I have Torrid, Sin, and Mata Hari and am anxiously awaiting for Deep Throat to arrive in the mail. I'm fair skinned and was hoping Torrid would read as a coral on me. It doesn't, but I love it nonetheless.
On me, the red undertones are fairly pronounced and it looks like an orangey-reddish bronze. I realize this sounds really unattractive but it's gorgeous on and kind of hard to describe. It's lovely with a bronzed eye.
While it's very pigmented, I don't find I have to tread lightly like I do with other NARS blushes. I use a fan brush to put Sin & Mata Hari on but use a regular blush brush with Torrid.
Bottom line: this color can work with lots of skintones. If you're fair, don't fear!
