I bought it in 01 Nude for dry skin type and it is realy dark and orange!I can't use it because of this. But cover is nice with dewy glow, moisturize very good. One more thing it is not for combination skin, just for dry.I have combination skin and bought it for winter when my skin became dryer and it closed my pores. Not good product for me.

It was nice to use for a few times but then this is not the type of product that you will keep on using for a long time because after a while you developed pimples or your face just becomes too oily. And it's only good for a few hours especially in the summer. You have to apply loose powder or powder foundation to wipe the shine off. This product is not for oily skin. Still I won't buy this again. I still have one full pack unused. Email me if you want to have it and I will send it.

Crikey, extremely heavy and dark. I bought the lightest shade in 01 and it was really really dark!! Anyhoo, I used it on the beach along with some lip balm and managed to pull it off I think. Way too heavy coverage to call itself a tinted moisturizer. More like a moisturizing foundation....

This moisturiser is good if you are new to 'illuminating' tinted moisturisers. It is very easy to control when applying and provides a sheer finish. My personal criticisms of it is that it contains both glitter AND a metallic finish. I do not like both in one product. I am more a fan of metallic finishes in illuminating moisturisers so you don't look like you've rubbed your face on a christmas card. Vichy Lumineuse doesn't have much longevity throughout the day and had 'clumped' in patches on my face after a few hours. As I have problem skin, I am not sure if that will happen to everyone. I also believe the product to be slightly acnegenic as it is fairly oily. I can imagine that it would work wonders for mature, dry skin but not young, acne-prone skin. People mention the pros of the 'spf' in the product, but these days to contain an spf is an expectation in a tinted moisturiser, not a selling point. I would not purchase this product again as it is not to my personal taste. However, I think the colour range is fantastic and if you have dry skin and want 'sparkle' this is for you.

I don't get the high reviews for this product. The shade selection is horrible. The lightest shade, 01 Clair, is too dark and way too peachy - almost orange! - for any light to light medium tones. Texture is a little tacky as well. Maybe a previous version of the product was great, but the current one, not so much.

I don´t really understand the high ratings of this product. Even the lightest shade was way too dark for my light/medium complexion, and it even darkened over time, after a while I looked like an oompa loompa. To make things worse, my skin started to shine like I put grease all over my face. I brought the product back, because I wouldn´t use it anyway, even in summer it would be much too dark.

I have been searching for a replacement for my old (discontinued) Lumineuse 00 Satinee - wasting a lot of time trying different products - no success at all. I believe I've tried min of 10 different brands - either my eyes burned, my skin got irritated, the texture was too heavy or flat....I was getting very discouraged. Went to Pharma Plus in London ON a week ago - cosmetician (bless her heart!) said they'd brought out the Satinee for dry skin out again. Gave me a test vial of it to try since it was a new formulation - and the colour was 01 - Claire (vs. the 00 which I'd been delighted with for 10 years - no kidding!). BOTTOM LINE - it is wonderful - what a relief. THANK YOU VICHY and THANK YOU to the cosmetician who LISTENED when I said "I've been looking for ages for a replacement for Vichy Lumineuse".

I really ke this TM but I only use it in spring/summer since 01 clair is a bit dark for me (I'm MAC NW15/20 and I wear #15 opal in Vichy Dermablend) but it's very sheer and blends perfectly. I prefer the satiny version (dry skin) but there is a matte version for normal to combination skin.
It retails 14, 50€, it has decent coverage and it's very gentle with my sensitive skin. Brilliant product, highly rec.

I bought this TM a while ago (last summer, to be precise). I am more into skin care than make up, and since this is excellent for sensitive skin and had great reviews, I had to try it. The lightest shade the supplier had at the time was 01, which is too dark for my super pale skin. I loved the texture, the feel, the glow, but it made me look somewhat unnatural.

So it’s been sitting in my drawer for a while, until I figured it out. I use Glycolix Elite spf 30 sunscreen, which has a slightly whitening effect (pure Zinc Oxide) and tends to be drying. I use my Vichy TM over this and it doesn’t appear as dark anymore, it moisturizes my face after spf dries it out, and it makes my skin just glow! I just make sure to blend well, and put it on my neck and décolleté. Little bit goes a long way, so it should last me a while. Absolutely love it again. When I repurchase though, I will buy 00 shade as opposed to 01.

At $28, this is not the cheapest for a TM, but not the priciest either. In the summer, my skin was to oily to tolerate this (it would basically slide off) but I am now loving this in the winter, as my skin has become more dehydrated. I normally wear foundation, however, use this alone on the days when I am home. I use the lightest shade and like it immensely, also if I want a more polished look I can blend this with foundation or apply foundation over top.

I got this in the lightest (1 clair) shade and it is way dark! Im not like a ghost either, my mate is paler but this looks like it would suit someone with a medium/sallow complexion. Even if i blend it looks too obvious and i hate looking like i have something on my face so i prob won't use it-gutted!

When i went to visit a friend in canada, i was suffering from dry skin and she gave me this to try, said that it helped her. I tried it and jesus! it not only moisturized my skin but it hid those medium and mostly minor imperfections and it was great! because you can't even notice it's there hehe, i want to buy it real bad! but here is one problem, it's not listed in the vichy website and i don't know if its in the stores... i live in new york city, they should definitely have it!

I swear by this product. I always get comments on how nice my skin is and I have to thank Vichy Lumineuse for it. I have been using this product for quite a few years and have found that switching the strength of it depending on the seasons had really helped. In the springtime, I use the normal/combination one and towards the mid-autumn I switch to the dry skin one. I find that by switching the strength of the cremes helps my skin re-adjust to the environment (I live in an area that has heavy snow and cold in the winter). I find that the cost is very affordable since a bottle last for a few months and I never have to wear foundation.

This is my favourite skincare product at the moment! I use the version for combination skin in color 00 (naturelle mate). This is really easy to work with and I get even coverage fast. I also use it on the under-eye area and get some coverage for my severe undereye circles. The product does not give complete coverage, but it evens out the tone of the skin really well. The scent of the product is mild and pleasant. I most often use a powder (Shiseido Luminizing) after applying this since Vichy Lumineuse doesn't provide the matte finish that I want. Overall this is fabulous for a superquick natural look.

I absolutely loved this tinted moisturiser for 10 years but recently I feel the formula has changed from a creamy base to a watery, much less effective and less flattering formula. I'm so disappointed. Anyone else notice this ?
The original formula sold in a flatish tube with a rectangular lid was much nicer than they newer formula sold in a circular lid tube.
Please go back to the old formula Vichy! It was the nicest makeup I had ever found.

It doesn't matter how many tinted moisturizers and foundations I try, I always go back to this one. I've been using it for years and I love it. The price is very reasonable and comes in a handy squeezy tube. Coverage is more than one usually finds with a TM and it imparts a really healthy sheen to the skin. I always get compliments when I use this. I do use a light moisturising lotion underneath as I don't find it all *that* moisturising.

One of my top ten of all time products and I'm sure I will be buying again for many years to come.

5 lippies!!
