When I started using this night moisturiser I noticed that my skin was more even toned, radiant, soft and supple. I do not have lines so cannot comment on that. I do have, however, a tendency to breakout and I rarely did with this. I actually found that this would help manage breakouts. Many months and a few bottles later I decided to try a new product because this moisturiser no longer gives metthat 'wow' effect. Moisturises well but no longer seems to provide the radiance. It might be a coincidence, but I still decided to try another brand. Might cone back to this one as so far it's the only night moisturiser that truly worked for me.

Been using this cream on and off for sometime. I do feel like my skin is much softer and tighter(youthful). Isn't too oily for my skin. Overall, I like this product.

Ok, it was a toss up between the Total Effects 7 in 1 Night Firming Cream & the Olay Regenerist Micro-Sculpting Cream. I had a $7 coupon & was in Walmart. I know Walmart prices are better than CVS & Walgreen prices. I decided to purchase the TE 7 in 1 Night Firming Cream. Unlike some other reviewers, I really like the scent!! I do not find it overbearing @ all. It smells very fresh. I applied it over vitamin E oil for several nights because I thought it wasn't hydrating enough. Then 1 night I applied it alone. I actually like it better on it's own. The jar is 1.7 oz which lasts a good several months. Thanks, Olay!! :)

I recently purchased this moisturizer in an attempt to banish my most recent attack of flakey skin. My face has always been acne prone, and somehow never finds a balance between too dry and too oily. I've tried many different moisturizers, all of which notoriously enhance the oily composition of my bipolar skin. Now, I can finally put an end to my search. Olay's moisturizer is absolutely fantastic! Within two days of use, my facial dryness not only disappeared, but was replaced with silky soft skin! (Now those are rapid results). The moment I applied the moisturizer, my skin felt like it was enveloped in a cloud. I know this sounds a bit unrealistic (and perhaps a bit cheesy), but the moisturizer is so light and creamy that no other description will do it justice. I must also mention that the scent is absolutely heavenly. It has just the right trace of a light, flowery aroma, without overwhelming your senses. There is nothing more relaxing than falling asleep while imagining you are laying in a field full of spring-time flowers. Most surprising of all, this product actually seems to help clear my acne. I use it both at night and in the morning, and it has never once clogged my pores or left my face oily. It is non-comedogenic and hypoallergenic, so it is even safe for those of you with sensitive skin. I've been using it for two months now, and have experienced nothing but positive results. I know it sounds too good to be true, so you will just have to test it out and see for yourself!

I'm pretty pleased with this night cream. I can't say that I've noticed a big difference in fine lines - despite that I'm only twenty my skin is very prone to them - but I guess I'm using it more of a preventative anyway. I think that this product has improved the overall appearance of my, skin, though, with regards to uneven texture and tone. It has a pleasant fragrance but I had no problems with irritation.

I'm going to try some other night creams and possibly delve into the world of high end skincare, but I would repurchase this as a good drugstore alternative.

I wouldn't recommend this to someone with very dry skin, however. Nine out of ten times this is moisturising enough for me, but it doesn't stand up to what Canadian winter does to skin.

I've only used this for 2 weeks so can't comment on whether it has improved my fine lines. I love the smell and consistency - it's really thick and moisturising. It's just unfortunate that since I've been using it my skin has started breaking out (whiteheads) so I'm going to have to stop and look for an alternative.

I have never been more impressed with an olay product as much as I have with this particular night cream. Its high end quality at the fraction of the price.I'm 25 no wrinkles but I do have enlarged pores and tiny faint lines almost pre wrinkle lines forming on my cheeks by my nose.since using them it has completely melted them away and my pores have never looked this small since I was a baby! The texture of this night cream is luxurious and rich my skin feels so soothed and calm after applying this I can actually hear it thanking me.every morning I wake up with glowy soft beautiful skin and its all thanks to this.the bottle Is a bit cheap and tacky looking but I love that its a pump so you don't have to dip your fingers in.overall I'm really pleased with this and will buy this for a long time!

I've only been using this for a week so I can't make any comments on its long term effects. But I'm only 27 & I don't have any wrinkles, etc so I wouldn't be able to notice much in that area anyway.
I wanted a night cream that would add moisture to my skin, make my pores appear smaller & have some gentle exfoliation. I didn't want a strong AHA cream because my skin isn't that bad & I prefer to be as gentle as possible.
So far, my skin has been soft & glowy. When using this in combination with a toner (Simple Nourishing) my pores have become less noticeable. I haven't had any breakouts & the scent doesn't bother me at all.

Overall, a nice basic night moisturizer. Doesn't have "deep wrinkle" written all over it, which can be weird to buy before you have those problems. I will def repurchase

I have been using this for about a week and I can't believe how much better my skin is looking! :) I don't notice a scent at all but maybe it's so faint that I can't detect it. The cream absorbs really well and it seems to be quite moisturizing. My face looks smoother and less blotchy, and my pores look tighter. Awesome!

*** UPDATE 12/26/12*** I still love this stuff, and feel like there has been a vast improvement in my skin overall. I have noticed that if I go even a day without using it, then my "line" on my face returns with a vengeance. Since I didn't expect permanent results, I guess I am ok with that...

Several days ago I purchased this night cream along with the Total Effects Cream Cleanser + Blemish Control face wash and the Total Effects Refreshing Citrus Scrub face wash. (I also use Olay Complete SPF 15 Sensitive moisturizer but I have already been using this for the last year.)

This night cream is doing for me what it advertises. Already my complexion has begun evening out, my pores are visibly smaller and my skin feels more "normal". It has also cleared up dry patches I haven't been able to get rid of for the last few weeks (even though I was using another night cream). I have sensitive skin that is acne prone with certain ingredients, and it can easily unbalance to become too oily or too dry (or even oily/dry at the same time). Using this night cream in conjunction with the other products has balanced out my face.

A+, the price is definitely worth it.

I'm 42. Read the reviews here. Bought it. I have acne prone (adult acne) combination skin. I put this on last night. Feels smooth, absorbs into the skin really well. Gives a soft matte finish. You can barely tell there's a scent so i don't know how others find it "overwhelming". Woke up in the morning, smooth, soft skin, very good texture.. smooth texture no bumpiness as usual, not an oil slick, not even a hint of oily feeling. And i can even see a "lift" if you will... Firmness improved overnight! No kidding! And omg my pores! Where did they go?!?! It is simply one of the best night creams on the market and i've tried them all including the high end Estee Lauder, Clinique, La Mer, etc. This beats them all hands down! Olay has a bunch of excellent products but this has got to be the best one there is! Please Olay do not stop making this! Amazing cream! I will update as i keep using it since this was my first night with it on. VERY VERY HAPPY CUSTOMER! And it's only $18. You can get it even cheaper with one of those 20% off coupons from Ulta.

A nurse practitioner I work with is over 40 and has amazing, glowing skin. She raved about this so I figured why not try it (and for the record she is a high end girl so I was shocked that she uses Olay). One thing I CAN NOT stand is a thick, slimy, heavy cream. I end up feeling gross and washing my face. This cream absorbs into the skin well. It smells heavenly and my face feels clean with it on. That is such a plus for an oily, acne prone girl like me. Imagine how thrilled I was to come to pville and see the high ratings! yay!

I recently turned 23 and decided it was time I began actively taking better care of my skin. I was over-whelmed with the options available when it comes to night creams, and I was also rather skeptical of whether I would want to use one regularly.
Olay has always seemed like a reliable brand to me, and this night cream is so affordable that I figured it wouldn't be an experiment that I would regret too much.
I absolutely love it and have been using it all summer. My skin can get really oily, and although this is incredibly moisturizing I don't think it is heavy at all.A little goes a long way, and I have been using the same jar for months now.
I actually also like that it comes in a jar because it is convenient to use (and I will actually manage to use every bit of it). It is a light pink color, with a soft Olay scent that isn't over-bearing.
I may wander next time a little, and try something different as I haven't tried any other night creams (which is why I am only giving it a 4), but I definitely think it is a great find!

EDIT: I've stopped using this product for a while now. No matter how little I applied I always wake up with an ultra shiny face. So I just gave it to my Mum.

(The product I bought is the Total Effects Night Cream with the black tub.) So I finally decided it was time I invested in a night cream, and what better brand to invest in than Olay? My mum has always been using this line of products and she always gets compliments about her skin.

I have oily/combination skin and since the beginning of Winter my skin has become a bit dry. Since the first night of applying this on my face, my skin instantly felt softer and smoother. I absolutely *love* the smell of this cream, but if your skin is sensitive to strong fragrance then I would not recommend it. This cream is very rich and very... creamy. A little bit does go a long way.

I bought it while it was on discount for $25, retail is roughly $30. The only downside would be the packaging I guess, but I don't really mind it. I always sanitize my hands before putting any product on my face anyway so I'm not really concerned about 'infecting' my tub with bacteria and whatnot.

This night cream is amazing!
It is heavy but still works well with my oily skin (doesn't cause break outs), and leaves my skin unbelievably soft and even! My skin has never looked better. It is relatively inexpensive (compared to other creams), and a little goes a long way!
As an anti-aging cream I'm not sure how well it would work, but for women who don't need to worry about that just yet this is an excellent night cream.

Lucky I received several of these as samples, I have oily skin and usually get 2-3 big/cystic pimples a month. As soon as I started using this I have come out with LOTS of pimples very big and small so this product is really not for me.

At first I didn't realise it was this which made me break out so bad, however it wasn't until the 2nd time round when I tried which confirmed it was this product that was making my skin break out so badly.

Though I do prefer more "natural" lines, I'm trying to save $$$$ and researching and experimenting for reasonably priced yet effective products. My research has lead me to 3 Olay products (Total Effects Blemish Cleanser, Total Effects Night Firm, and Age Defying Daily Renewal Cream). So far...I love all them. I think this is a very nice cream. Soaks in right away and doesn't leave a film. I don't wake up with an oil slick on my face. HUGE PLUS. My skin feels hydrated, soft, firmer/plumper and smooth..doesn't clog pores or irritate.

I usually alternate between this and Boscia's night cream, but this is far less expensive, so better for my wallet! I do love this moisturizer--it doesn't irritate my skin and does the job of hydrating my skin at night. It's pretty basic, but it works. The texture is pretty light but moisturizing, and doesn't leave my skin feeling greasy or anything. It is slightly fragranced, so if you're sensitive to that, I wouldn't suggest this. As much as I love this, I wish they would package this in something with a pump. I don't think anyone likes putting their hands into a tub of cream (so not sanitary).

I used a sample of this and tossed it after several uses. The main reason why I didn't finish it is due to the smell. It has a pretty strong fragrance, which really bothered me. It's fast absorbing but I didn't find it moisturizing enough. In the morning my skin didn't feel very hydrated, even after I moisturized in the AM after washing my face.

I just bought three more jars of this. I've been using it for years.
I haven't found anything better and I'm a total product junkie. Makes my skin very even toned, smooth, super soft, and softens the wrinkles. I like the jar so I can scoop out a big glob and also see how much is left. I put this everywhere--my forearms, back of hands, chest, neck, on rashes and irritations. It helps improve everything: redness, pore size, lines, color, melasma, lightens age spots on hands, sooths my itchy rash when nothing else on earth will. It now has almost no fragrance. It's light and fluffy, and sinks right in. The only thing that works better is Renova and that costs a lot. I use this during the day with Olay 7 in 1 moisturizer with sunscreen over it. Renova on alternate nights with this. Sometimes if my skin feels extra dry I layer this over jojoba oil. If there were any better skin cream available I would buy it but there isn't. I do use Alpha Hydrox 12% cream twice a week also but that is super drying so this is used the most.
