I bought mine at big lots for $2, just to simply try it. I'm asian, NC35 in summer, NC30 winter, i was hoping the color would look a little bit darker or more pinker/redder, but it totally matches my natural lip color which is what i've been looking for. it's not thick and sticky like MAC's Viva La Glam lip glosses (no offense, i love Viva La Glam), and it's not glittery, it's true to its name.. a MOISTURE SHINE gloss... the only reason why i wouldn't give it a 5 is because when i ate last night after putting on the lipgloss, it totally lost its shine, compared to other glosses I've tried, they still keep the shine. But that's still fine with me, i usually dont put on lipgloss when i know im about to eat anyway, if i could find it again for $2 I'd definitely purchase again.
It's my first Neutrogena lipgloss i've ever purchased.. it's for those days when you just wanna have a simple natural/effortless look. the color isn't too strong on my lips, so i dont have to wear anything on my eyes.
it reminds me of my Sonia Kashuk lipgloss in "Sophisticated" color, which is also a natural/nude color, except for Sophisticated had a more orangey undertone, whereas Moistureshine in CHIC has more of a reddish/pinkish undertone which is much much more flattering on me and shows more color, but not toooo much color. I think it can even pass for my natural lip color, as if im just wearing a clear gloss, but my real lip color is a few shades lighter actually, which is what i love about this gloss, gives me color in a natural way. I hope to try Moistureshine's other colors if i find them at a good price too.

My favorite lip gloss. It's the perfect "natural but better" lip color. Unfortunately, it's been discontinued. But Neutrogena just relaunched the Moistureshine lip glosses, and the shade called Pure Cider is the perfect replacement.

A gorgeous, warm peachy-caramel shade. I'm a pretty pale Asian with pink-yellow undertones and this shade makes me glow. These lip glosses leak, though. I've bought several Neutrogena glosses in different shades and they all leak. A fatal design flaw since I can't carry it around with me. But the color deserves a 5.

I hated this lipgloss on me. I ran out and bought it because it had such great reviews. When I put this on I look terrible. Will never repurchase.

Love it. Not too sticky, decent staying power for a gloss. Very nice, natural shade. Also have Flirt and Dream, and love them all.

I am a lip product junkie and it is very very rare for me to a) use a product entirely before it turns or b) re-purchase. So when I say that i have been Chic - continually - for the last 5 or so years - it has that much more impact!

I think this color which shows up as a nude peach/pink on me would look good on almost everybody. It is scented and doesn't last long. It isn't sticky and is quite easy to apply.

This is my HG gloss - I really love the color!! The texture is good, too. I have one in every purse b/c it's such a natural color on me - very "my lips but better".

My favorite drugstore lip gloss. It's a great everyday gloss. It's a pinky brown color and has no shimmer or glitter. It goes great with MAC's spice or Cream O'spice lip pencil. If you liked Chanel's glossimer in Blush, you might like this too. It's inexpensive, so I won't cry if I ever accidentally lose it.

Perfect nude l/g. Inexpensive, great formula and staying power. Anyone can wear this because it's a colour that's flattering for all skin tones out there. I'm fair like AJolie and this lg is like the colour she wears a lot.

My never-fail go-to gloss! This is always in my purse because it's a great neutral. I can put this on over any lipstick and it will tone it down to a more neutral range.

Great lipgloss: pretty but neutral color, absolutely no stickiness or goopiness or irritating glitter.

The perfect lipgloss, for anyone, any shade. This is that "My Lips But Better" shade that I have been eternally searching for. I put it on with everything; jeans, dresses, heels, whatever cause it is that VERSATILE!! The color is this perfect pinky brown shade that is shiny but now like lipglass fake shiny, sexy moisturized shiny. I wear this with a dark brown smoky eye at night to sex it up a little, and it has no shimmer. It really is a great gloss, I paid about $8.00 for it, but that is a small price for perfection!

I agree with most of the reviews here. This is my staple everyday lipgloss. I use it with MAC's Whirl lip liner. I'm NC44 and this looks great on my tanned skin.

EDIT: I love the texture of Neutrogena glosses (not too sticky, not too slick; shine is subtle not plasticky), and this is lovely in that it has no shimmer...but in hindsight this is not a very flattering color...kind brownish and meh.

I love this lipgloss. I am Asian with pigmented lips and the colour looks great on me. It is not too bright but nice for nude/neutral makeup. Also love the smell. I haven’t really worked out what it is yet.

I am wondering if maybe Neutrogena changed this color a little bit (they did recently revamp the colors in the line), or if I am just lucky enough to have it work well on me. I am PPP with pink undertones, and I noticed in the reviews that several people with similar coloring said this did not work for them. It does work for me. My lips are pretty pigmented, and I have dark brown eyes and blonde hair...so even though I have pink undertones, I think sometimes my coloring is sort of neutralized due to the colors of my other features. Maybe this is why Chic works for me. It seems to be a somewhat complex color; on me, it is a natural/nude pinky/brown/mauve with maybe a hint of peach. Thankfully, it does not look orange on me at all! Others with similar coloring said this washed them out, but Neutrogena's other "MLBB" gloss that many love, Dreamy, is the one that tends to wash me out. Anyway, I really like Chic. It is glossy and shiny without being sparkly or glittery, which is how a gloss should be IMO. It looks very natural and almost MLBB on me. It brightens my face while Dreamy, unfortunately, almost makes me look dead. I only wish I had discovered it sooner. I have seen it compared to other MLBB/nude colors like MAC Lust, Chanel Giggle glossimer, and Clinique Tenderheart. For the price, why not try it?
