I've tried almost all of these masks over the years and every single one has either broken me out or caused some kind of irritation. I'm not sure what's in the chocolate one, but it caused some serious cystic bumps to brew under my skin so if you're acne-prone stay away from that one! They're so cheap and easily accessible that I get lured into buying them every time, but I'm now officially giving up on Montagne Jeunesse :(

I tried the Sensuous Spice Self Heating Face Mask with cinnamon and ginger. It feels and smells really nice, but it broke me out both times I used it. I think it contains too many irritating ingredients. Better to stay away from this mask if you have even the slightest bit of sensitive skin.

I love the Green Tea peel mask. Used before a night out it really helps make my skin look refreshed, toned and shine free. Perfect base for applying moisturiser (and make-up if you're inclined).

For 75p, this is brilliant to do once a week - wish they did it in a bottle so I wouldn't have to feel guilty about all the packaging used!

I love the olive mask! It leaves my skin nourished and smells good as well :D The chocolate one made my skin feel irritated though, so steering clear from that one. The self heating one and Dead Sea sheet mask are also really nice.

I have to say I have very sensitive skin. I bought the Damask Rose and the White Chocolate. Tonight I tried the Damask Rose and I immediately felt a really horrible "burning" sensation on my skin. I left it on for about a minute and rinsed it off. Pros, even with just a minute, it left my skin super soft. I just think that maybe the scent is so strong it irritated my skin. This being said, I think I will try maybe some of the fruit blends because I've read so many good reviews. This one smelled really nice but unfortunately it was irritating. I don't know about the White Chocolate because I haven't tried it yet.

I received a package of this to try as part of Influenster and kinda put off using it because I'm pretty much an Ahava fan and wasn't sure I wanted to try another product on my unpredictable, sensitive skin.

The one I received was the Clean-Up mask (detox) mask and I decided to give it a whirl while my husband was at work (it's a pretty vivid green and no point in giving the man a heart attack in case he saw me in it). I left it on about 15-20 minutes, until it was thoroughly dry and removed it with warm water and a washcloth. WOW. My skin was soft, not stripped of oil, and, no kidding, was a tiny bit pinkish and glowing. As I used it in the evening, I didn't put makeup on after removing it and found myself touching my skin all night because it just felt so...SOFT.

I've seen this brand for sale at Walmart before but never tried them...after this experience, my usual Ahava mask may have some serious competition (and, for a bonus, at a fraction of Ahava's price).

Seriously in love with this mask and find the 1 package will give me 3 treatments...Woot!

i love their masks! i love the blemish mud, strawberry soufflé and the new very berry masks, i'm not keen on the peel offs (not just from this brand but peel off masks in general) cos they kinda hurt when you peel them off (although i do love the end product when you get it off in one piece!).
i also love that it's all natural ingredients as well so you know there's nothing harmful going onto your skin.
i had to stop buying the chocolate orange one as i wanted to eat it :)
they last quite long as well, i usually make one sachet last 2-3 applications.
i always buy them and will keep on doing so for the foreseeable future!

Merci Montagne Jeunesse !! :) First, I tried many different masks of this brand. Some I LOVE, but some I hate... Si I tried Strawberry & cream gel mask, dead sea tonic (cloth) mask (it burns at first :(), peach kernel and walnut scrub, blemish mud, dead sea mud pac masque, moisture miracle hair masque, aloes tonic (cloth) mask (burns!), cucumber peel-off mask, sauna fudge mask, the tea tree and spearmint one! It didn't like the consistency of the first one. It was too runny. Plus, I didn't feel it did something to my skin overall. So, my faves are the Peach kernel & walnut scrub (I LOVE THIS SO MUCH !!! the best scrub ever ! gentle, smells good and with one package, you could do up to 5 scrubs !), the dead sea mud pac masque (which I really LOVE! it cleans so well and make my skin incredibly soft! I just bought the tottle of this). I loved the fudge sauna too! (the best warming mask I think. Smells so delicious that I could eat it !! Leaves pores clean). And the last but not least, THE MOISTURE MIRACLE hair masque ! ( Which is soooooo moisturizing and leaves my hair sooo soft and smell good ! This is my new must-have) I can't believe I haven't use MJ products before...

I don't think i have particularly sensitive skin but the the rose scented one i think i'm slightly allergic to, makes my face get hot and slightly itchy because its too perfumed i'd say, if you have sensitive skin avoid this one and get the chocolate ones or the peel off types.

LOVE!!!!!!! The peel off ones can hurt if you get it in any hair such as eyebrows, so be careful. But for me, the best are the mud masks!! I have used the green dead sea one multiple times and like it pretty much like St. Ives Mineral Clay Firming Masque, but I forget so I'll have to try again (I just bought the Dead Sea one again. Dead Sea stuff is pretty sweet. I've been there and actually used the mud and it does feel nice :) )

BUT the CHOCOLATE!!! AHH!! WOW!!!!!!!! I don't have a moisturizer that I can trust, currently, so I grabbed this because it said it was detoxifying and hydrating. It's no joke!! I felt so great! I think this is one of my new favorite masks! And I love that it is vegetarian. I think it needs it's own category. I just might do that. :)

I love their masks! I've tried all I could find and I've only had one bad experience with a mask. The cucumber peel-off mask was terrible to my skin. The mask was so-so-so strong, both scent and feel. My skin became so red and it felt so bad. But all the other masks are great! I recommend all of them exept the cucumber one.

I love Montagne Jenusse face masks! This is is my go to brand for a face mask. They are SOOO relaxing and all smell beautiful. My favorites are - thermal clay, chocolate mask, fruit smoothie and the blemish clay. These all make my skin so smooth and they clear pores great. I leave them on for about 15-30 minutes and I can usually get about two applications out of the sachet. They are reasonably cheap, about £1 at Boots, Superdrug or Claires. I dislike the material, cloth toner masks (e.g the cherry one), I don't feel as if they do a great deal but the clay ones are brilliant.

I bought the the cucumber peel off mask and the passionfruit one as well. I haven't tried the passionfruit one yet but I finished the sample of the cucumber mask. I love the smell (reminds me of cider), application was easy, dried quickly and peeled off nicely. It didn't break me out and it helped fade my acne scars. Will definitely repurchase in the future, five lippies!

I do at least one at home face mask a week and I use a different one each week. My two favorites from this brand definitely are the Passion Peel Off and the Chocolate Masque. My skin is so soft and beautiful after the Chocolate Masque. It also smells so yummy! The Passion Peel Off cleans out my pores really well, but is not overly drying. These are so inexpensive but effective that I have a whole drawer full of them. I have combination skin and I find that these do not cause breakouts for me. My skin tone is much more even after using these masks.

All of the masks work very different, so its hard to give an overall rating for them all.
Aloe Vera Tonic: My ultimate favourite. GREAT for dry skin, makes your face so soft and smooth and hydrated.
Green Tea Peel Off: Also really good. Texture is so nice, fun to peel off, although its a bit drying.
Dead Sea Minerals Face Tonic: TERRIBLE. Burned my skin so bad, and stung like a bitch for a while after. So much for calming ._.
I tried a lot of others but cant really remember them too well, they must not have stuck out so much.

I love these masks.

I prefer the peel-off cucumber one as you can really feel it lifting the impuritites from your skin.
Your face feels squeaky clean and soft after using.

I removed one star because I used the berry mask and as much as it moisturised my skin and left it clean - it was sparkly!
I don't know about you but I don't like my skincare to leave me sparkly.

I'm a bit perplexed. I tried the Dead Sea mask and it seems like it half worked. After washing it off I could see many whiteheads (muck, whatever it is) that weren't there before, so I'm guessing the mask pulled them to the surface. It didn't draw them out enough though so they're still firmly lodged.

My pores actually look more obvious now. I'm left wondering whether I didn't do this properly...
