am super bummed that they don't sell this anymore. It used to be my favorite from the drugstore. Had to replace with Maybelline's Colossal Volum' Express (which I love, but not as much as i loved this). ;o(

Really? This mascara is a joke. It did nothing for me, except take the curl out. No thanks.

Maybe I got a bad batch of this. I opened it right after buying and it SMELLED AWFUL! So bad it made my nose burn. Needless to say I did not put it on. It went back and I bought an Almay instead. Kind of bums me out because I like the idea of it being wax free.

This is a great daytime mascara. I have very long, but thin, lashes and this gives them enough volume without going overboard. It doesn't clump and doesn't flake and about the same price as other drugstore mascaras.

This mascara is great. Even though I have sparse, thin little Asian lashes, this just fluffs them up and makes them look natural, but still way better than my naked lashes would look. It doesn't smudge, never clumps(thanks to the nice, big brush that literally gets every lash), defines, and plumps up my lashes a little. It really is a good mascara. I'd love a little more volume, though. The packaging is very minimal, just a thin silverish taupey tube. It looks very high end compared to other drugstore mascaras, like Covergirl's huge orange tube and Maybelline's yellow and purple "Colossal" disaster.

A good mascara if you're going for the natural look. I bought this mascara mostly because it's marketed as having natural ingredients. It did seem to condition my lashes, but for a "volumizing" mascara, it didn't add much-if any- thickness. Also, the brush is really big which might make it hard to apply on lower lashes.

I bought this mascara because it says it contains natural ingredients and I was hoping that would translate to "good for my lashes" and could be something I use as an everyday mascara just to give my eyes that "I'm awake" look. I must say that the brush causes smudges when I use it on my lower lashes, but other than that, I like the coverage. Its just enough to let me look presentable. I only give this a 3 because it's not easy to remove, and it doesn't come through on all of the "Volume" its supposed to create.
I think that I will buy this again if its on sale and use it on the weekends or under other mascaras.

i don't really know if i'd buy this again. i like the mascara itself and how well it gets to all my lashes, but it's too natural for me. it doesn't look like i have any on. i know, i know, you must be thinking "but dont you want it be unnoticeable?" i honestly like the fact when people can tell that i wear mascara, but not to the point where it's clumpy, this is just too natural, but it has vitamins which i liked cause it conditioned my lashes and it really makes them full, but once again - too natural looking. if you like the really natural look, then it works great!

I am talking about the new Volume mascara by Neutrogena. I ended up taking it back for several reasons. First you had to apply a lot of coats in order for it to show up, which is weird for being a so called "volume" mascara. I didn't like the way it looked on me personally but I think if you are looking for something very natural you would like this mascara.

No Volume. The naturalist (is that a word? lol) of natural looks at best. The brush makes application harder than it needs to be. Almost impossible to get decent coverage on bottom lashes without smearing product under the eyes thanks to the weird brush.
Best thing about this product is the elegant packaging which is very appealing. Unfortaunaely, I can't wear the container...
No repurchase for me.
If someone can explain the purpose of the "hourglass" brush, please share.

I love this mascara. I know what you're thinking, I say I love it but I only gave it four stars. Well, the only thing that annoys me about this mascara is that it's supposed to be waterproof, but sometimes I find that it will flake off on me. The flaking isn't horrible, it's actually probably very minimal compared to other mascaras, but when I think waterproof mascara I think that it should take the hand of god to move it off my eye lashes. Nevertheless, this mascara pumps up the volume big time! Without mascara I have very light and short to medium length eyelashes. When I put this mascara on people seriously ask me if I am wearing fake eyelashes. This product separate and elongates your eyelashes beautifully. It is also very creamy and it does not clump up on your eyelashes. Now this is going to sound a little funny but I am being completely serious. The other day I was going through my makeup and getting rid of things that I had had for a while and I found a tube of this mascara. Well, I hadn't used the mascara in probably four years so as you can imagine it was definitely time to get rid of it. Anyway, out of curiosity I opened it and it was still creamy and smooth, not all dried out and flaky. Even though the mascara was like new I threw it out anyway because it was definitely hygienic thing to do, nevertheless the poing I'm trying to make is that you're not going to go out buy this product and then have it dry up on you in a few months. So if you want long sexy eye lashes this is definitely the product for you!

I like this mascara. I have lashes that aren't really thick (and are also very short), but this mascara gives me just enough volume to make my eyes "pop" and look nice. It gives volume (but not length. but that's okay since it only promises volume.) It doesn't clump unless you put on a TON of it and it doesn't flake off onto the area under my eyes like the other reviewers have complained about. overall, a decent mascara. probably wouldn't buy again, though. i need length.

my favorite mascara, it has kind of an hour glass figure brush so you have to use the part of the brush that is "skinnier" than the rest. It's AMAZING because it has a lot of vitamins and isn't clumpy or spidery. I absolutely love it.

Did I get a bad tube, or is this really that bad? This gave me flaky spider lashes. This was in the morning, while getting ready for work...and I'm not terribly vain when it comes to my office appearance. Normally I'd let it ride. After all, I don't get that close to people at work that they'd see my lashes. But it was so bad I washed my eye makeup off and started over again. This went right in the trash.

I liked this mascara okay. It's a decent thickening/volumzing mascara I suppose, but I've always preferred long and curvy lashes to thick ones. The mascara coats the lashes with a deep black color and is a good price, but there are mascaras I like so much better such as Lancome flextencils and Cover girl lash exact.

Flakiest mascara I've ever tried! After an hour, it's all underneath my eyes and not on my lashes. I'm not happy.

The tube is good, it's not overly fancy but it looks nice. I can't say the same about the mascara. All it does is make your eyelashes look a bit wet - the equivalent of putting water or vaseline on them. This doesn't volumize your lashes AT ALL. I'm not entirely sure if it's waterproof or not (haven't encountered a wet situation). It works just as a darkening mascara, if you have very light eyelashes. For what it's advertised to do (300% more volume? HA!) it fails miserably. Will not be repurchasing.

I really don't like mascaras with "hi-tech" brushes, i dont know how to use them. This is good for a natural look, doesn't clump, and is relatively easy to apply (besides the odd brush). I have over 25 drugstore mascaras and this is the best natural-but-not-too-natural drugstore mascara i have tried. So one lippie off for the confusing brush, and another for the fact that it doesn't give "full volume" as it claims.

Ew, ew. This made my lashes a disaster! They were really clumpy and it was really runny. It smudged everywhere. Horrible.
