This product is amazing. Its a gel masque, that drives after application to the face then you peel it off. Its said to unclog pores and I feel it does so. It sometimes applies thick but this just means it takes a longer time to dry. Overall, amazing. The scent is okay for me but can be overpowering.

wow i cant believe i put off from buying this product for so long! I was wary of the price because it is so cheap I didnt think it would work but how wrong i was. Has done wonders of pimples and shrinks pores till there nearly gone. Does not do a massive amount for blackheads but i accidentally left it on one time for about 30 minutes and when i rinsed it off i noticed it had dislodged a few. Might leave it on longer on targeted areas only, to see if it will continue to help my blackheads.

I originally bought this mask to clear my blackheads, which it did not do (but my blackheads aren't worrisome anymore anyway, thanks to baking soda). What it does do is minimize your pimples if left on overnight, like other people have said. It's faster than 10% benzoyl peroxide cream, anyway. -_- It cuts my pimples' time of "showing" in half compared to a week's worth of "showing". Hey, anything that gets rid of those suckers on my face as fast as possible. :p

All hail to Mint Julep Masque!! This mask has improved my skin complexion by 90%
I am experiencing reduction in redness and and pimples. The sulfur ingredient really soothes and calms my skin and evens out my skin tone. I use this about once a week and have been doing it for several months now. The smell is green tea/aloe, the texture is creamy, and the price is so affordable!

This is my favorite masque hands down. I use it once every weekend to help clean out my pores from all the make up i've worn during the week. It really helps keep my skin clean and fresh feeling! It can be more harsh for those who have dryer skin, so be careful about that, but it works great for those who have really oily and acne prone skin. Definitely would reccomend for the results and the price it has :)

It feel minty and it's especially effective when used together with clarisonic. Best for acne/ problematic skin. But it does dry your skin out hence you've gotta top it off with a moisturising serum or good moisturiser.

Garbage. Dries out face! Might be good for greasy faced teens, but for adults it's nasty. Doesn't rinse easily either and it smells funny. It's similiar to Proactiv's mask. Don't buy! Recommend Pangea's face mask for us ladies looking for clean and glowing skin.

This is a really great mask. A makeup artist recommended it as part of her daily skincare routine and I must say, I'm glad I took her advice! Why wouldn't I? It was only $2.99 at Ulta! I couldn't believe how dirt cheap this stuff was! My skin is very sensitive and as I've hit my mid-20s and have a high stress job, acne prone. :'( So basically, I've been looking for a mask to help control oil, pore size and acne flare-ups. This mask is it. You don't need much either so the giant tube should last a good long while. I use it once or twice a week after cleansing. I just spread a thin layer over my entire face and leave it on for 10 minutes and you can see all the oil and gunk that its pulling out of your pores before you rinse! Its crazy! My skin can get very dry so I try not to overuse this as it could really dry out my skin if I go crazy with it. Its hard though...its addicting! Your skin feels so clean and refreshed afterwards! I love the tingle and cooling affect that the mint provides. Pore size is reduced, pimples are smaller and less red, and the skin just feels renewed and uplifted. Definitely a steal.

This mask is a classic and I just love the tingly sensation that it gives when I apply it; however, I find that if I leave this one until it dries, I get the sensation that it is sucking the moisture out of my face. I really like how it makes my face luminous and gets rid of the excess oil so I will repurchase (:

Great stuff. Very good for clearing up acne and clogged pores. It makes my skin feel tingly when I put it on, and very clean after I rinse it off. It's super cheap, too.

I have to say, it was kind of weird having a facial scribes on my face that smelt like peppermint... what i loved most was not the end result (because i didnt notice a HUGE change right away), it was after i put this product on my face and i felt a slight tingle from the mint. It made me feel fresh, and cool which is always a plus in the middle of winter. What i like with this scrub and a few others that i have tried is that i love using it on other parts of my body such as my arms where i have dry skin, my elbows, my neck and part of my chest. I will use it all over because i love how soft my skin is afterward. I almost forgot, using this on your legs- just prior to shaving makes your skin silky smoothe and makes it a lot easier to shave. If you are big on self tanners, this scrub works really well as i said previously, on your legs, but everywhere you may need to polish your skin beforehand. Self tanners work best on polished smoothe skin, and I think this product held up well. Things I didnt like were the bright green dye in the product- i am always weary of excess dye in a face product. I also wasnt too impressed with the basic packaging that looks like it hasnt changed once. I hate to say this, but when it comes to beauty products of any kind, us women will judge that 'book' by its 'cover'. Its a proven fact that products that are packaged nice, and look nice to the eyes will sell more than a plain and outdated product. A little tweak here and there, but overall i love this product and I will recomend it to a friend... I hope everybody has the same great experience that i did with the scrub <3

I have dry cheeks and oily t-zone, I'm 19, and I have persistent moderate acne.. Maybe it's not that bad but I never had it as a teenager so I'm flustered. I've seriously tried almost every kind of mask even ones from lush and I always go back to this product. The price is to die for and I noticed people mentioning the packaging I guess it could be in a jar or something but that doesn't effect it's over all score cause it always leaves my skin feeling so super soft. It tingles and kinda burns a little at first but I'm always skeptical if I can't feel anything. It's been helping keep my oily t-zone calm without bothering my dryer cheeks. I bought it for my friend because I don't think anyone should live without trying it

I have a very oily and acne prone face, so a few times a week it is necessary for me to give it a nice deep pore cleansing. I think this does the trick. After thoroughly washing my face, I apply this to my face (I apply it thicker in my t-zone) and let it remain on my face for about 15 minutes. I then wash it off and apply a moisturizer. It makes my face so smooth and clean feeling. It does seem to help with acne and blackheads too. I should also mention it has a wonderful minty fresh smell, which for me is part of the experience :)

I found another mask line with is Freeman, now their masks actually help my acne! Doesn't irritate my my face, if you don't believe me look it up here on Makeup Alley!! Their amazing!!! "Freeman Mask!" Rule! Hope their never discontinue them... Queen Helen mask just did not do anything for me!

After reading a lot of reviews and then trying this out for myself, I've come to realize that this is a "hit or miss" product. The only real way you will know if it's going to work for you is to use it!I'm a 26 year old female, and for the past 2.5 years I've been getting random moderate to severve breakouts that calm down after 2-3 months. It seems to be an internal thing because I've used dozens of products from high end, Clinique and Lancome, to drug store products and even a lot of home made remedies. Antibiotics with no luck. Certain things help yet usually I have to just wear no makeup, go on a strict diet, gallon of water a day and no sugars, fried foods, etc.. and let the breakout take it's course. I'm at a point to where I will try any product if I think it will help because if I get another breakout out my only option is laser therapy which can be very costly.I use this product everyday. It's drying to the skin yet if you find the right moisterizer you should be fine. It was great at shrinking my pores. The first use was....Wow. Slight tingle from the mint but after a few uses my skin has become ok with it. Didn't make my acne worse yet didn't really seem to do much for my pimples. Sometimes when I would wake up I would find a new one trying to form, as if I didn't use it at all. I'm going to continue to use this because I feel it's great at pulling the oil out of my skin, but it's just a below average product! For my skin at least.

I really love this product. It's cheap, smells good and it makes my skin look a lot better after only one use. The only thing that I do not like about this product is the packaging. The mask gets hard inside the bottle which makes it hard to squeeze the product out. However, the pros outweigh the cons so I will be buying this again.

I like this mask & I love the mint smell. This did not dry my face out at all (which is something I was worried about since I don't have oily skin). This mask does help to dry out pimples, does clean out skin, does shrink pores, and does leave my face feeling soft. For about $3, you get a good sized tube. Can't go wrong there. I will definitely buy this again.

I find that it did nothing for my skin, if anything, it made it a little worse. It was a little drying. I used the Freeman one (Mint & Lemon) and it worked way better! A lot of people actually told me that Queen Helene's was better but not in my case..

I've not written a review for ages! My skin has been acting up since the end of last year so I have been feeling sorry for myself, have finally got it a bit more under control and thought a new review was in order.
I have only used this mask a handful of times over the last few weeks. I actually bought it about two months ago but was scared to put anything on my skin in case it aggravated it, but I felt like I needed to introduce a mask to keep my pores clear and build it into my skin care routine. I have used Aztec Indian clay mask in the past and did like the results, it was great when my skin was normal and gave my skin a glow afterwards, but I gradually stopped using it and was worried that since my skin has been worse recently, it may pull up too much to the surface and cause more spots than I could handle! I had heard Queen Helene was a bit more gentle so thought I would give it try. Well it certainly isn't as strong or as drying as the Aztec clay mask, although I did mix the Aztec mask with apple cider vinegar, I'm not sure if water would have been more gentle. Queen Helene is also much more straight forward to use and a lot less messy, which is great.
I have an oil based serum (all natural ingredients, it's lovely) which I use as a moisturiser at night, I like to massage this into my face before I put the Queen Helene mask on ( something I picked up when I used to get facials, they always used a facial oil underneath a clay mask to stop it being too drying). I have to say this combination has been working well for me these last few weeks and my skin looks great afterwards, and I would say it has been helping to keep my skin clear and clear up some stubborn cysts on the left cheek. I know some people said it made their skin worse so I have been using it sparingly and will keep an eye out for any adverse reactions, but so far, so good! Also great price for a huge tub..and I am in the UK, I don't think it is that popular over here but I'll be telling my friends about it.
