I have tried this hair colour i copper, my mom has tried it in mahogany and chocolate and my sister tried it in red. I liked the copper - it really gave my hair a copper colour for a long time. My mom liked the chocolate - it looked good and lasted on her hair for a long time. My sister therefore tried this red, since me and my mom had such good experiences, but didn't like it.
.
My sister has brown hair that is on the darker side on top of her head and light brown from about the ears, from bleach in the dye she used last time she coloured her hair. She said that she could barely see any difference in her hair colour after colouring, although she kept it in for over an hour. She said that the lighter part had a red hue in the sun, but that the colour was more of an orange and washed out really really fast.
.
She said the colour bled when she got caught in the rain and washed out in about 2 weeks. I don't live at home, but I saw my little sister about 2 weeks after she coloured her hair and it looked like she had never even coloured it.
.
I tried colouring a strand on my light brown hair with this dye to try it out and it turned out quite red, even out of the sun. The difference between my and my sister's hair is that I have coloured mine a little more often and that her hair is fine, while mine is medium. I have no clue about how long the coloured might have stayed in my hair as I only coloured a strand and then cut it off, but from my sister's experience, I can't really recommend this colour. I can also mention that red is quite a tricky colour to have in general - it has a tendency to fade, no matter what kind of dye you use.
.
Although I can't recommend this particular colour, the dye itself is pretty good: my mom really likes it because she has a very sensitive scalp that itches for over a week after she coloures it with regular dye. Because she has graying hair that she really doesn't want to show, she usually has to colour her hair once per 1-1.5 month. She really likes this dye in the colour "chacolate" because it gives her a natural dark brown colour (although it's a VERY dark brown at first) that lasts for quite long and makes her scalp feel nice.
.
If your opinion about this dye is different, please tell.

I bought this at iherb.com. If you're a first time customer, you can use my coupon code JUZ808 and get a discount of $5 (if shopping for less than $40) or $10 (if shopping for more than $40). If you have products for more than $30 you can just go ahead and find something for $5 more - with the $10 discount it won't cost you any more.
.
BUT:
.
vitacost.com
has the dye too and it's $2 cheaper there, so please check out both sites if you're thinking about buying. You can follow this link:
https://www.vitacostrewards.com/hzlpRja
if you'er planning on purchasing for $30 or more and get $10 off. Vitacost ships to a lot of different countries too, just as iherb does.
.
I also want to say how the code works: if you use it, I get a small percentage of the price you paid. People earn money when you use their code. If you feel strongly negative about this, you can use iherb's own code ABC123, and only iherb will earn money from your buy.
