I love batiste dry shampoos. I've tried higher end dry shampoos and none seem to work quite as well. My hair is dark brown and I use these products every day as I only wash a few times per week. That being said, I did not care for the tinted dry shampoo because it got everywhere. I took precautions from getting it on my clothes so that wasn't the issue but throughout the day, I'd notice dirty streaks on my forehead and face. The dry shampoo clings to fingers so if you touch your hair thought the day, this product probably isn't for you. I looked like Oliver Twist!! I do recommend other batiste products but just not this one.

I had just about given up on finding a shampoo that could save my oily root, dry end shoulder-length hair from the daily grind of washing, conditioning, blow-drying etc. I tried the Original Batiste dry shampoo a few times and couldn't get on with it. I just decided to try the dark brown version and amazingly it works for me! You have to apply it at arm's length, getting into the roots, leave for a couple of minutes for the spray to absorb the oil and then brush just a few times. I can see it really helping with my roots when I'm due a colour touch-up and it blends well with my very dark brown hair. My hair isn't perfect - it lacks a little shine - but it looks full of volume. I'm careful not to get it onto my hair ends as it is very drying, but I'm so happy I found this and had one last go at trying to get dry shampoo to work for me. My hair will thank me for it!

Hands down the best dry shampoo I've tried and I've tried just about all the ones I can find. I have fine, thick, long hair that I am trying to grow even longer. This dry shampoo leaves a grey cast to my hair at first but after it marinates for a few minutes and is brushed through the color disappears leaving my hair normal looking. It is the only dry shampoo I can use two days in a row that makes my hair presentable to be in public with. It helps give great volume and the smell isn't too bad. The spray does leave your hands/brush dark but it's worth it for how well it works. I also love the fact that if I can't get to dying my roots and they need covering that this well help hide them.

AMAZING. The designs on the can are cute and the scent is fabulous. I can finally use a dry shampoo without worrying about white residue. You can't beat the price either. I've used Tresseme and Suave dry shampoos but this one is now my holy grail.

I absolutely love this dry shampoo. I have tried countless brands (even expensive ones like Oscar Blandi!) and in my opinion this one is by far the best. I had previously been using the Dove one solely because of the price. It definitely got the job done but took forever to blend and get rid of the chalky tinge it leaves behind. This stuff is wonderful! My hair smells fresh and it doesn't look greasy. I can skip washing my hair every other day which definitely has helped since my hair is extremely dry at the ends and oily at the roots. I am a light-medium dyed brunette. My hair is naturally blonde so this also doubles as a root concealer in between coloring. It doesn't leave behind any chalky residue and my hair looks freshly done. I have not experienced ANY fall out or staining, but then again I only use this every other day in between shampoos and I use a minimal amount to freshen my roots. For the price definitely worth it! I spent $$$ on oscar blandi and in my experience this works even better.

This stuff is absolutely amazing!! I've tried many dry shampoos (suave, treseme, Oscar blandi, etc..) and this does not even compare! I haven't had much luck with the others so I decided to try batiste. The price at Ulta and walgreens are about $8.99 but I find mine at tj maxx/Marshall's for 5.99! The brunette one smells amazing and it leaves no residue at all!! I went three days without washing my hair and had multiple people tell me my hair looked just washed! Oil totally disappears, great product will def purchase again and again and again :)

I was so excited to try the brown tinted dry shampoo, because I hate that grayish cast the regular dry shampoo can sometimes leave. I don't know if I'm just a messy person, but I found that this stuff got everywhere, and being tinted brown, it was very visible. When I was brushing it out, I kept getting fallout onto my face which left little brown spots on my makeup. I was also a little shocked when I scratched my head and I had dirty brown fingernails. I wanted to like this, but I just find it makes too much of a mess to be practical.

Having visibly thin dark hair, I'm genuinely grateful that this stuff exists. It makes my hair look thicker and it actually smells good, quite unlike most other dry shampoos (including the original Batiste). It's almost an ambery scent.
I spray it slightly above my roots, not quite straight onto my scalp, because then it gets itchy. When it darkens, I brush my hair with a boar bristle brush to get rid of the excess.
And just to be clear: No, this doesn't actually cleanse your hair, and no, the effect doesn't really stay the same for two or more days. That would be asking a bit too much.

It's good to use on the day but the day after my hair is a feral grease ball

I love this stuff! Best dry shampoo ever. I have black hair and most dry shampoos leave a grey tone to my hair that sometimes looks flaky. I was previously using the original Batiste and while I still like it, I have to be careful about how much I apply and make sure to shake/brush out well. I have also tried a ton of others as well, most recently the Dove dry shampoo because my sister was raving about it and said it was better than Batiste original. I'm not sure why she thought it was better, to me it was mediocre but the smell was terrible. It reeked of old lady perfume scent, not digging it. Performance-wise, I wasn't all that impressed either. I thought Batiste had better oil absorbing powers. I have been eyeing this tinted version for a while but I was always afraid the tint would come off and stain my pillows. I saw a YT guru talk about this so I decided to try it. This is really great. It does not come off on the pillow like I was afraid of (but I use this only on top of my head) and it's so much easier to use than the regular version. It does make my hair slightly ashy looking when I first apply it because my hair is so dark but I shake it out with my fingers and it disappears. This easily beats the tinted version from bumble and bumble, the batiste has more oil absorbing powers and price is a lot better. For the reviewer below that said this stains everything, I have not had that problem. I think she is probably using way too much and spraying it carelessly. Remember, this isn't hairspray, you don't spray this all over your hair. I only spray this section by section at the roots in quick sprays, not continuously. The spray comes out concentrated so it doesn't go in areas that you don't want it to like your counter, etc. A little goes a long way, you don't need too much. My search for the perfect dry shampoo is over :)
