I have wavy hair & have spent a fortune trying to find a product (s) that can tame it but not weigh it down. I use Shu Uemura Art Of Hair Essence after I washed my hair and comb it through. Although Shu Uemura isn't a cheap hair oil, its in a class of its own and worth the price. I have tried going without it and my hair doesn't have the shine or the definition - its literally a perfect product
