I've used several Gigi waxes (the original, azulene, creme) and found this one to be a favorite. It works very well and removes the hair without leaving any residue. The smell of the wax is why it's my favorite out of the other ones I've used--really pleasing and coffee-like.

I bought Gigi All Purpose Honee Wax in Espresso during a BOGO sale at Sally Beauty. I usually get the regular Honee Wax (also by GiGi) but they ran out, and the sales rep let me know it's basically the same consistency and works just as well. The only major differences between the two, in my experience at least, is that the Espresso wax is slightly scented, sorta like coffee candy, and leaves less residue behind. In fact, residue was hardly an issue--the regular version definitely leaves a little behind. It was quite effective on my moderately coarse leg and underarm hair, and even worked well on my bikini line (ouch!). I didn't need to constantly go over each area, as with many other waxes. Hair was easily removed (I use the white, cloth wax strips, also by GiGi). I would recommend making sure any areas you wax are clean and dry prior to waxing (I wipe areas with Witch Hazel toner), and using some sort of oil afterward- Azulene oil is great, and regular old baby oil also does the trick. When you wax, make sure that the wax is still very warm and has a liquid-y consistency. For ease of waxing, I use the GiGi Space Saver Wax Warmer, and spread only a thin layer of wax at a time. Then, wax! Work quickly, ladies (that goes without saying)! I would recommend this particular wax for most hair types- fine to medium/coarse-and waxing needs. It's a great wax--you can't go wrong with the Honee Waxes-- I would steer clear of the cream waxes if you have coarser hair type, as it doesn't work nearly as well. Most ladies will love Honee waxes, and the espresso version is no exception!

After reading several positive reviews on this wax, I decided to try it. I REALLY, REALLY wanted to love this product but I was a little disappointed. I still think regular All Purpose Honee wins when it comes to effective hair removal all over.

- Espresso Honee smells soooo yummy. It smells like coffee
and chocolate.
- It leaves less residue on my skin after waxing compared to
regular All Purpose Honee wax.
- It's about $9-$10 cheaper than regular All Purpose Honee.
- I found it okay for removing fine hair from my upper lip.

- On coarser hair (like leg hair), I did not find this product very
effective. You will need a tweezer for sure as there will be several
hairs left behind.
- I wouldn't consider it truly "All Purpose" seeing as it is less effective
on my leg hair compared to upper lip hair (and I am not even a
hairy person). The regular All-Purpose is still more versatile as
it is good for ANY body hair.

Would I buy it again? Yes (mostly for the yummy scent) but not for a long time because given the limited applicability, one tin will probably last me a couple of years. I think the regular All Purpose Honee is a better buy for its versatility.
