This is my first NARS purchase and I am more than satisfied! The rep at Sephora explained to me that this is a great value. The palette itself is gorgeous. When wearing eye shadow, I lease towards neutral and taupe shades. This palette includes both. It is great for day or night looks and is so small and compact that you can take it along with you in your purse to work and pop one of the darker shades in your crease or outer v for a sexy clubbing/happy hour look :) The color payoff for this palette exceeds my expectations! I was so impressed at how pigmented and silky the were. I wore the shadow for a 12 hour day and it didn't budge The combination of the primer and shadows is perfect! I'm definitely going to purchase the full size of the smudge proof eye shadow base. This was a great investment for me and I am extremely happy with the quality of the product. I would for sure but this product again!

Two words. Vegas Perfect.
This was the only palette I brought with me to Vegas this past weekend, after purchasing this palette during Sephora's VIB CHIC sale. I was at first disappointed by the size of the palette but was pleasantly surprised at how versatile the colors were upon opening the palette. The top three colors create a very suitable daytime look while adding any of the bottom three colors create a sexy, sultry nighttime look. I got many many compliments on my eye makeup, however, while I was out clubbing, and it's all thanks to this perfect palette. I love how nicely it fits in my makeup bag without taking up much space, and the primer is one of the best primers I have used. I do wish the brush was a tiny bit smaller but paired with the MAC's 217, they were an inseparable duo while I used the palette.
Go get this girls while it's still available at Sephora! You will be using all the colors : )

I was really excited to get this palette because I love the colors. But, I will be returning because of the ingredients. While I am not generally too picky with ingredients for makeup - it is makeup after all - to me, given the other options available, using triclosan in makeup is completely unacceptable.

Absolutely lovvvveeeee this palette. It's convenient in regards to color selection and size (for travel purposes). I've honestly forgotten about the primer and brush that comes with it so I don't have an opinion on those items. The color payoff is fab and they blend very well. I don't have any other NARS eyeshadows therefore I consider this palette to be a good value. Honestly, I've never hit a pan on a shadow before so I've been steering away from purchasing full size shadows and have been sticking to just palettes or "minis". Highly recommend this!

I ordered it online and when I finally got over the initial shock over the palette size and cracked it open, I'm now using it every single day.
Great set of neutrals - nice brush (tho I think it's too big for this palette, lol) - and of course I love the primer. The shadows themselves are really awesome - everything you need for a understated neutral look or a smoked out evening eye. As a brunette with fair skin, this palette is perfect for me.
The only thing I don't care for is the tiny size, but that said it is the perfect size to travel with and for my makeup bag in general.

Great set of versatile neutrals. I was concerned some of the shades would be too dark, like Coconut Grove, but the selection is perfect and can go from day to night in a flash. Many of my daily favorites are in this palette which I like and I do like the tiny travel size of the palette. I do question NARS shrinking it's eyeshadow and artist palettes down in size and hope it is not a trend overall. The inclusion of the brush and primer is great. NARS brushes and primer are already in my collection and I can state as to the quality of the brush that it is the same hair, shape and size as the full sized #3 and the travel sized #3. Overall, if you are looking for easily paired shadows, portability and quality in a neutral palette then I would say this is a very good place to start. These shadows blend like a dream and all have very nice pigmentation.

I got what i wanted all in one package, everyday useable eyeshadows with the best eyeshadow base. I can say the brush is not the best one, i prefer MACs eye brushes all the time but after washing a few times it has become softer and i use it easily now. If you need something compact for your bag i think this is something worth to try.
Although the eyeshadow amounts are really less compared to the other ones of NARS if you use them with the base they will last for a really long time.

This palette is awesome. It has the best color IMO from the Alhambra, Kalahari, & Bellisimo duos as well as three perfect singles. I have used the palette for complete looks all week (purchased this as my own birthday present 2/7) using Coconut Grove as an eyeliner, & the colors above as eyeshadow. Of course, the eyeshadow primer is the best sold, & the brush is a nice fluffy brush with all the great NARS quality. The set is reasonably priced too. Simply put, a great deal. It's a neutral palette, but surpasses UD Basics as the NARS neutrals are not overly matte but the perfect blend of matte & shimmer. I think both warm & cool toned girls can use these colors. Easy to blend, stays all day. Another NARS winner. Go out & get it while it's available. $59 @ Sephora. It is smaller than expected, but there is more than enough product to last a long time. Love it, & would buy again.

This would be a great quality set for you if you like (or don't have) all of the items (the eyeshadows, primer and brush).
The palette is smaller than I expected - but I actually prefer the small size. The palette is portable and practical. I could carry only this set in my purse and do my makeup on the go.
I've never had NARS eyeshadows so I can't compare the quality to the NARS singles/duos, but in my opinion the shadows are pigmented and buttery smooth. I don't experience any fallout and they are easy to blend. They are buildable and great for everyday and for special occasions.
Is this set worth the price? The palette alone is worth the price because each shadow is about 1/2 the size of a NARS single. The brush can be used for packing on color and blending (think MAC 217!), and the primer is a great travel size as it's 1/3 of the full size ($24).

And God Created the Woman is a Sephora-exclusive limited edition set of an all-neutral 6-pan eyeshadow palette, a short-handled #3 Eye Shader Brush, and a travel-sized Smudge Proof Eyeshadow Primer.
The palette itself is smaller than I anticipated. Eyeballing it, it's longer than a NARS compact by about an inch or two, so it's not large, nor is it tiny. The included brush's length is longer than the palette as well. The 6 eyeshadows included are: Alhambra, Bellisima, Kalahari, Galapagos, Coconut Grove, and Night Clubbing. The first three shades are from NARS eyeshadow duos and the last three shades are NARS eyeshadow singles, so these aren't new shades.
Below, I listed all the shades in addition to their shade description, pigmentation, and personal notes, when applicable. I marked my favorites with an asterisk (*):
-Alhambra*: Shimmery pale pink-champagne (excellent pigmentation) (less frosty, more pink than Stila Kitten) (more shimmery than MAC Naked Lunch)
-Bellisima: Matte cool taupe (excellent pigmentation) (cooler than UD Tease)
-Kalahari*: Shimmery warm champagne (excellent pigmentation) (lighter than MAC Sable)
-Galapagos: Chocolate brown with glitter (good pigmentation) (glitter is more refined on the lids)
-Coconut Grove: Matte blackened brown (excellent pigmentation) (darker than MAC Brun)
-Night Clubbing*: Shimmery green-tinged black with gold glitter (excellent pigmentation) (glitter is more refined on the lids) (to translate its true color--green tint, gold glitter, and all--on your lids, pat it on--don't smudge--with a very dense eyeshadow brush and apply it wet with MAC Fix+. Water works too, but I find Fix+ helps more with the glitter)
This is my first experience with NARS eyeshadows, yet this is now my current favorite palette! This is one of the very few palettes that I'm actually content with all the shades. I think the eyeshadows are the perfect combination of cool, warm, light, and dark shades. They're gorgeous and well-coordinated, and, being a fantastic day-to-night palette, they're incredibly versatile at the same time--in other words, perfect!
The formula is very smooth, finely milled, and buttery--just like my Dior and HG Urban Decay eyeshadows!
I was excited to test the brush, as I've seen NARS artists use this brush in live demos and videos, but I'm not as 'wow'ed with the brush as I am with the palette. But, still. It's a keeper. It's a good quality brush that picks up pigmentation well. I haven't experienced shedding, but I've only used it twice. It's not super soft or too rough. I prefer my MAC 239, but this isn't bad by any means! It's a good addition to any brush collection!
The set retails at $59. Supposedly, it's a $105 value, but these eyeshadows only have 0.03 oz. of product, versus NARS eyeshadow singles with 0.07 oz. of product--in other words, less than half of the available amount in the full-sized singles. Regardless, this set is still a fantastic steal, and the price is actually much less than I anticipated it to be prior to its official release. Considering it's limited edition and exclusive to Sephora, if you're interested, I would purchase it quick!
Would I repurchase? No, because I doubt I'll finish these up. By the time I do, this set will be loooong forgotten.
