I never thought I'd be so completely hooked on NARS skincare but I really love it. And I have to admit, I'm seriously surprised at how well they work for my skin. Typically I don't gravitate towards cosmetic brands that branch out into skincare, like Chanel, Dior, etc., and prefer brands that offer only skincare. But I tried the NARS Restorative Night Treatment on a whim after reading some good reviews online, had amazing luck with it, and started branching into the rest of the line. Wow. Everything I've tried has been perfect for my extremely sensitive, fickle skin. This has worked wonders adding some life back into my skin and I've been using it for about a month. Here's a quick rundown on my skin: super sensitive, especially to botanicals and thickening agents, intolerant of heavy or thick products and fragrances, normal with small dry areas depending on allergies or weather, not acne prone, and generally good as far as evenness and texture goes. My big concerns are moisture without heaviness, and because of perpetual allergies, gentle brightening is a bonus but hard to find because a lot of products are way too harsh for me.This has a thin, lightweight texture that's close to a serum. In fact, it's very, very close in general to ReVive's Intensite Moisture Serum Extreme, which I've used for about 4 years and love. It's a transparent, white color with subtle shimmer particles. The shimmer is so subtle as to be almost non-existant once it's on skin. It really only seems to act as a bit of an immediate "lift" or brightening. Once my sunscreen and foundation are applied on top, I don't even notice it. The scent is light, sort of an astringent, citrus type of smell and disappears a minute after applying. I use one pump, spread between my fingertips, and pat it all over my skin and neck following my Rodin face oil. It absorbs quickly and doesn't leave a film or a weird texture behind. It doesn't feel like much of anything but I do notice the moisture immediately. My skin feels less parched right away, and any unevenness from washing my face or whatever seems to fade within a few minutes. There's no stinging, tightening, or aggressive feeling at all. It's so gentle. I use it in the morning only, and have noticed results already. It definitely has helped add evenness and just an overall healthy look. It's especially useful on mornings when I know I look puffy or tired and feel like nothing short of another eight hours of sleep is going to make me look like a normal human being. It's expensive at $74.00 for 1oz, but it's been so effective for my skin type, and I have such a hard time finding skincare I can use (in general) that I don't mind repurchasing. It's replaced my Revive serum completely.I never thought I'd be converted to one particular line, especially given how annoyingly sensitive my skin is, but I am loving that Nars has made a gentle line that actually gives me results. I feel like I don't have to just settle for basic skincare. I want to try the facial cleanser next.

I am in LOVE with this product. I have been using it twice a day for about a week and I have already noticed a difference in my skin. (The previous reviewer mentioned that she uses it only 3 times per week. Its designed to be applied twice per day for optimal results). I have extremely dry and sensitive skin and this is keeps it from ever drying out during the day, even with wearing pressed powder on top and being outside a fair amount. I love the subtle glow that it gives you. (this is probably from the tiny mica particles that are in it. but also from the rich moisturizers). I feel like I can wear this with my NARS luminous moisture cream and not need any foundation. My skin looks and feels really amazing with this combination of products and I will continue to use them. I have previously been using Chanel which costs 3x and Dr Haushka which costs about the same but does not give me the glow and is very heavy. As far as chanel products go I really feel like this puts all of their products to shame (EXCEPT for the sublimage. obviously that stuff is like magic in a jar but who can afford $400 a month for face cream)I think this cost around $70 a bottle so it is not cheap but I imagine it will last about 3 months. For me and my picky skin this is worth it. Again, I have very dry skin so I highly enjoy how moisturizing this is. If you have oily skin you may find this too emollient.

This retails for $115 here in Australia (at Mecca). I managed to find it quite a bit cheaper on eBay (the love of my life!). To be perfectly honest, guys, I haven't noticed any change in my skin from using this three days a week for about a month (I work three days a week and don't like to wear anything on my face when I'm not working). In my opinion, it's just a liquid highlighter/luminizer masquerading as skincare. The liquid is pearlescent white; about the same consistency/texture as a liquid moisturiser, but a little lighter. It's filled with mica (tiny light-reflective particles)... Not so sure how good that is for your skin once it absorbs!Anyway, the packaging gets 5/5 because it comes in a sleek bottle with a pump that dispenses a small amount of product each time, which is really all you need.I'm giving this three lippies because I'm open to giving it more time to work/see the results, and it hasn't done anything bad to my skin e.g. give me a reaction (I'm very sensitive) or break me out.I hope that was somewhat helpful, to my knowledge this is the only review on MUA for this product, so I've tried to be detailed! :)
