I had been wanting this palette for a few months and finally bought it about a week ago. I became obsessed with having the shade "Voulez-vous" - a deep, smokey purple/grey - and couldn't find an exact dupe of it anywhere so eventually broke down and bought this palette. For starters, the packaging is great - a sturdy, easy to use and practical small metal tin (rather than bulky cardboard) that closes securely and opens easily. And, yes, several of the colours are light, sheer and even very similar in colour but this is typical of many of TF's 9 pan palettes. But the less noticeable shades can be made more intense by using a coloured base and the shades Voulez-vous, Lap Dance, Birthday Suit and Garter Belt are such great and flattering shades that work together really well. "In the Buff" is the perfect "almost matte but not flat" brow highlighter. I am really happy with this palette. I fear that if I use up any one shade in it (not that this has EVER happened to me yet), it's likely to be Voulez-vous and then I'll have to repurchase the entire palette just for that one shade. But I like it so much, I wouldn't hesitate for a moment!

I like this one more than the romantic palette. Colours are all pigmented and beautiful. Packaging is nice but for some reason I find the cardboard box better.

Love this palette and would recommend with some caveats: some of the colors are sheer (fuzzy handcuffs, satin sheets and b'day suit all look about the same on me unless I really pack it on), the black shade is gorgeous but def not for daytime (FYI fair girls - it is blendable but still a straight up black), some shades are a little powdery.
I did the looks included on the card that comes w/ the palette and they all looked really pretty. It's a great neutral palette that's not UD Naked and w/ tons of shimmer. Really good for those days you want to look toned down but still pretty.

I love this!!!! Too Faced eye shadow formulas are so creamy to me, and I ADORE the colours in this specific pallet. Definitely going to repurchase.

This is great inexpensive palette that will allow you to easily create day-to-night looks in a snap. The shades are organized into rows categorized as "Day," "Classic," and "Fashion." The shades in the larger pans are meant to be lid shades, though you can use these however you want.
There are 9 shades in total, 1 of which is matte, 2 of which are satin, 4 of which are shimmery, and 1 of which are glittery.
Below, I listed the shades with a description, pigmentation level, and personal notes, when applicable. I marked my favorites with an asterisk (*). From left to right, up to down:
-In the Buff: Matte bright creamy white (good pigmentation)
-Fuzzy Handcuffs*: Satin peachy beige (good pigmentation) (nearly matte, but microshimmer is evident)
-Voulez-Vous: Shimmery eggplant-brown (excellent pigmentation)
-Satin Sheets: Shimmery light pink with gold shift (decent pigmentation) (only the gold shows up)
-Sugar Walls: Shimmery champagne with mauve undertones and micro-glitter (good pigmentation)
-Garter Belt: Satin medium cool-toned taupe (good pigmentation)
-Birthday Suit*: Shimmery warm light brown (good pigmentation) (has a sheen)
-Lap Dance: Frosted oyster with slight purple (excellent pigmentation)
-French Tickler*: Matte blackened brown with gold glitter (excellent pigmentation)
For the most part, the formula is good, but not the best. They are soft and smooth, but they're a bit powdery and not buttery. I'm not liking the inconsistent pigmentation either. Nonetheless, they're definitely doable and easy to work with and I haven't experienced much fall-out or creasing. Then again, I wore these over Urban Decay Primer Potion, so I'm not sure how they wear primer-less.
This palette is housed in a sturdy travel-friendly tin case. I don't like the case design, but that's just a matter of personal opinion. (Packaging designs are what have stopped me from purchasing Too Faced products in the first place--this is the first Too Faced product I've tried.)
It retails for $36, which is a great value. You do get a reasonable amount of product considering the small pans have 0.18 oz. of product and the large pans have 0.21 oz. of product, according to the back of the palette. The overall size of the palette is a lot larger than my iPhone.
Would I repurchase? No.

I think this is a great pallet for a natural smoky look. This pallet is different than other two faced pallets as it is in a tin container rather the cardboard ... which makes it much less bulky. The colors blend smoothly and I have not experienced any fallout. I have not tried the guides that were included.... but my favorite look is to use sugar walls in the inner half of my lid, lap dance on the outer part of the lid, and mix voulez vous and garter belt and swipe that in the lid. Finish it off by sweeping fuzzy handcuffs on top of voulez vous to soften the crease, and add a touch of satin sheets in the tear duct and brow area.... looks great!
My only complaint is that some of these colors are in the other pallets... so if you already have other too faced then you may be dissapointed by that

I was really excited about this palette when I saw it at the store. The colors were neutral but seemed unique. I especially adored "Voulez-Vous" and "Lap Dance". I swatched all of the colors in the store and they were all pigmented and true to the color in the pan.
I bought this and used it the next day and it just looked awful! They weren't pigmented, they were all very very sheer even on my pale skin. I use UDPP so there's no excuse for a color to not look amazing on my eyelids, unless the shadow itself sucks. It looked really muddy on my eyes and ugh. I'm going to try to play around with this tonight and tomorrow morning just to see if I was having a bad makeup day, but I'm glad I kept the receipt and I'll be returning this tomorrow if it doesn't work out.

I personally love this palette! Ihave had my eye on this for awhile and finally bought it. I think the colors are beautiful. I agree with the review that said if you love a sexy muted eye look you will love this! Im surprised by some the reviews because I thought these eyeshadows blended well and are not chalky. Even the black sparkly one, blended well. I only have a couple of 2 faced palettes, this one and the Natural Eye palette. But I will definitely be looking for other ones. The packaging is nice too. It is smaller than the Natural eyes palette but I like that it is travel friendly and has a magnetic type clasp. I would definitely recommend this to my friends!
