I love these shimmery glosses.Essence never lets me down. Smooth, sheer and shimmery. I have this in 3 shades and i intend to buy more of them. I wear this night and day. Look better than most drugstore brands, such as Bourjois,Maybelline etc. Great price too.

Love these glosses. They aren't sticky and they are great on their own and on top of lipstick. And the price is amazing!

For the price, you can't go past these lipglosses. I've got two so far, and will definitely be purchasing others. Nice smell that isn't overpowering which is always a plus! I've been really happy with all the Essence products I've bought so far.

I like these a lot for the price. Um...not much to say about them, they're great, sheer lipglosses and look awesome on top of lipsticks. I have one in Bubble Babe (isn't that just the most awkward name), which looks frosty pink in the tube but goes on practically clear. Very lightweight and not sticky at all. They don't stay on forever, but this product cannot make you feel guilty about reapplying. Oh, yeah, these things are super cheap, too, only $1, and you get a LOT of product for the price. So...yup, these are great.

I got this in Sparkling Papaya 18. Comes in a wand that does not dispense too much. Smells nice. Pretty on its own, but warms up darker colors very well. The shimmer is a tiny bit scratchy, which is why I would use it on top of another lipstick or a lip balm. Not as pigmented with a different container but is very shiny, pretty by itself, and also makes darker colors look warmer and brighter and the $2.50 price tag cannot be beat! Wears off quickly though. A more expensive alternative in a similar color, which lasts longer is Urban Decay's Lip Junkie in Runaway.

I think the reviews here differ so much because it totally depends on the color you buy! I just bought the colour Red Blossom and it's so pretty! I've been craving red lips lately but didn't want all the opacity of a lipstick. When I found this gloss at SDM I snatched it up right away and sprinted to the checkout. I was a little worried it wouldn't show up on my lips at all, but that wasn't the case! It's a beautiful, wearable red. Definitely worth the $2.49 I spent on it! On the other end of the spectrum though, the lighter colors won't really show up on your lips at all... My sister owns two, Sparkling Papaya and a fuchsia one (stickers been removed, I don't know the name) and their is no pigment at all! Which is okay if you only want to use it as a sparkly topper over lipsticks, but on it's own? No colour, just shine and sparkle. So all in all, I recommend trying some of the darker shades, but unless you're in the market for another clear lip gloss, don't bother with the lighter shades.

This would be a good lip gloss...if it wasn't TERRIBLE. I have almost nothing good to say about this lip gloss, and I don't really have high standards. The claims on the package are "ultra shiny lip gloss, moisturizing and non-sticky." Non-stickiness is not always the best thing, products have to be sticky enough to stick to your lip so that they stay on your lips, which this product did not do. It was at the edges of/around my lips within 15 minutes, it feels slippery and greasy. It's not moisturizing, but it doesn't dry out your lips, which is good I guess. I did like the packaging, you get a decent amount of product for the price (which would be a good thing if I actually liked the product enough to ever use it, and I try to find a way to use almost everything I buy). It's a nice color (I have the sparkly bright red one, which of course doesn't even have a name on the packaging) and the color pay-off is OK, but it doesn't stay on my lips anyways. Oh and it also smells, and tastes bad. I'm disapointed, I have two other essence lip glosses that I like so this is unfortunate.
