I want to love this, i really do. I love the packaging, i love how my skin feels when this gel glides on my skin, it feels nice and refreshed. But my acne-prone skin seems to hate this snail gel, i get acne immediately in the morning after applying this gel moisturizer the night before.

Shocked in the morning, i stopped using this gel moisturizer for a while until my skin is better, and then re-try using this again for second time (because again i want to love this gel), but nope-- skin still hate it, i got major breakup because of the moisturizer. (sob)

I stil have full tube here, and i use it as my elbow moisturizer and stuff, i think this product does not suit acne prone sensitive skin. =(

I'd heard so much about this product, and I really, *really* wanted it to work for me. For the first few days it was fine. I used it morning and evening. But after that, I realised that my skin was going... weird. It's sort of difficult to describe. It was tight and rough, but also greasy. I had to go in to full on emergency-skincare mode (nothing but Avene thermal water cleanser and Lush moisturizer), and it took about a week for everything to settle down. I couldn't even wear makeup for all of that time, because everything clung to the roughness then slid straight off. Not pretty.

Perhaps stupidly, I'm still emotionally invested in making this work. I'm also pretty sure I was using way too much for my skin type. I'm going to patch test by applying it just in the evenings twice a week to a small, unobtrusive bit of my face.

My garden is full of snails so I had to adapt to the idea of putting snail on my face. So I had my tube sitting around for months trying to muster some courage to just ... do it. Then I liked it. Not slimy but a nice gel consistency. I used it once used it twice. I use it weekly but not daily. Unsure if I will ever buy another snail product...
I have not used any other snail product so I can not compare. Does make my skin nice.

The company changed their packaging so I had to call on AB reddit to make sure mine wasn't a fake. Their is literally nothing to prove authenticity on the new "cheap" packaging. This was my very first AB let down. My skin isn't overly sensitive. I get light acne usually just hormonal cycle break outs.

This product was insanely agitating. It felt like my skin was burning. There was no recovery lol just damage. Ugh, Iet myself get whisped away in the hype. My skin wasn't even bad to begin with. Then I went and experimented.

I now need to begin my journey of finding out what the cus in this my skin loathed so much!

I don't understand why this product has good reviews. This cream didn't do anything for me!

This is my HG treatment. I have dry/combination sensitive skin. This was one of the first items I bought when I started tumbling down the Korean skincare rabbit hole, and I LOVE it!

It's a lightweight, unscented, non-moisturizing, off white gel. I apply it by squeezing a peanut sized amount on my clean fingers and tap it on lightly until it feels slightly tacky. The gel is completely dry after about one minute, leaving silky smooth skin behind.

I have never experienced any burning, irritation, or breakouts after using this product over the last 3 months.

The best result I've seen is that my skin is definitely more even and bright.

I use the gel twice a day (morning and night) after my skincare routine (Bioderma, Hada labo Tokyo hydrating facial wash, Benton Essence, and then the recovery gel.

The results were almost instanteous. My skin got brighter, glowed even, after about a week of twice a day use.

I'm already on my second bottle of this stuff, and just ordered a backup.

This is a very lightweight formula that is suitable for my oily acne prone skin. It has a watery gel consistency and it contains 74% snail slime filtrate, and it has no fragrance at all. I have another snail slime moisturizer and what I love about this specific beauty ingredient is that it helps my acne scars vanish in half the time they normally take to dissapear. This gel doesn't make me break out and that is VERY much appreciated because it doesn't clog my pores and let's my skin transpire throughout the night. I recommend this very much to anyone with oily, acne prone skin.
You can find this korean gem at EBay for about $5. Hope this review helps!

I am currently undergoing retinol treatment and I find this stuff burns my skin. But I have no problem with mizon 'all-in-one' snail cream.

Mizon is a nifty South Korean brand with a pretty extensive line but not much information directly on the internet.

Many of their products are quality items with leading edge formulations.

This gel-cream is a little marvel.

Considering how cheap it sells for on E'Bay - count this as a beauty steal because it works too.

Your secret weapon.

Whether you have uneven skin tone, wrinkles or even acne - this little beauty is what you need as a treatment.

You won't be disappointed by Mizon Snail Recovery Gel Cream.

Don't let the snail mucus aspect put you off - its filtered.

And it works.

You have nothing to lose.

This is a slightly thicker mucus like (horrific description, I know, I'm sorry) gel which is very light on the skin. It's quite soothing, yes, but definitely nowhere near the miracle skin recovery enhancer all the reviews I read raved about. It was nowhere near moisturising enough for any flaky spots/patches and I didn't notice any difference to my acne scars. I did have a slightly irritated chin one night and slathering this on helped calm it down. Also a bit of a warning, the tube was only about half full when I first opened it!
