It takes a lot for me to write a review on a product but this was just AWFUL. not only is it heavy and pricey, it caused me to break out like crazy. I would not recommend this to anybody. one of the worst foundations I have ever used by far.

Worst foundation I have ever bought . In 2 days made me break out in disgusting cystic acne. Melted off my skin and felt like I was wearing a masque

Great medium to full foundation. Stays all day on my skin even though I live in a hot humid climate.

It's not my HG, and maybe I'll never find one for foundation, but it's a pretty reliable product. As long as you clean your face thoroughly, morning and night, this is a really good foundation for everyday use as it is build-able and very long-lasting. If you don't, it can cause breakouts, although the same can likely be said for any foundation.
I love the matte finish - no need to powder, also doesn't dry out my skin like other matte foundations tend to. The colour matches my skin perfectly to the point where I often only put it on areas where I really need it.
The concealer is a real bonus for hiding dark circles under the eyes, but not so much for blemishes. Unlike other reviewers, I really like the brush, it's just a shame it doesn't come in some sort of portable case to keep it clean.

This was my first ever liquid foundation purchase. At first I was hesitant in buying liquid foundations since i live in a tropical country. But since this was on sale, I decided to give it a try. I bought shade #5. Here are my observations:
PROS:
*has medium to buildable coverage
*concealer matches the foundation and very effective in covering dark under eye and redness around the nose
*very creamy and easy to apply with my RT expert face brush/ buffing brush
CONS:
*packaging comes with a spoon type spatula
*clings to dry patches on the areas around my mouth and jaw area.
*transfers easily when not set with powder.
I found that mixing the foundation with my moisturizer when I apply it to my jaw/ mouth areas solves this problem.

I tend to switch my face-makeup routines up a lot. If I'm in a rush I go for Bare Minerals and that's okay, but if I have the time I prefer liquid foundation. I'm freckle-y and I have uneven patches on my cheeks, so I like to smooth those out. Recently I'd been switching between MAC's Studio Fix and the Whipped Revlon one, but neither of those were a very good match for my skin--too orange-y and/or I could ~feel them on. Bleh. I saw this in Ulta and I decided to try it, and I think I'm in love.
I love the applicator thing-y. It makes for a no-mess makeup routine because you can just dab it on your face where you need it and buff it in with a brush, no fingers or back of your hand needed. I use UD's Good Karma blurring brush with this and that combination seems to give me a really nice, even look without being too "much". I feel like this would be buildable if I needed it to be, but I don't, so...
If my skin is behaving I mix it with my moisturizer to thin it out some and it's still really nice. I also like the concealer. It matches the foundation and covers my slight dark circles as well as the redness around my nose. This really does even out my uneven complexion without feeling cakey and the color matches my neck perfectly.
I also like that there's a lot of product in the packaging. I've been using it about two months (give or take about 10 or 12 days of BM use) and I've barely put a dent in both the foundation and the concealer.
I get good wear from this--about 5 or 6 hours after application I need blotting papers, but compared to the MAC or Revlon, and needing to blot after 2 to 3 hours... well, add another point toward this one. By the end of my day (with travel and errand running after work that equals about 12 hours) it starts to melt down, but I can't ask much more of a foundation than to get me at least through a day at work without migrating. :)
The brush that comes with it, though... well, it's gathering dust in my brush container. I didn't like it for either the concealer or the foundation.

Love, love, LOVE this foundation! For the last couple of years I've been using MAC studio sculpt since it was the only foundation that did not look flaky on my dry skin, but inevitably it would make my face an oil slick by the end of the day. Stila's Stay All Day gives me flawless skin, truly stays all day and doesn't make my face anywhere near as shiny (just a little blotting halfway through the day and I'm good). I was apprehensive before trying it since I've heard Stila's foundations aren't friendly to fair, cool skin tones (I'm NW15 in studio sculpt), but the 02 Fair is pretty much a perfect match (I'm going to try the 01 Bare next time just for comparison).
Pros:
- Works wonders on dry skin
- Good coverage (I apply with a stippling brush)
- Still looks good at the end of the day
Cons
- Don't like the packaging. It's better than a glass bottle, but considering how thick this is I would definitely prefer a pump.
- When they say 'Stay all day', they really mean it. This takes more work to get off than any other foundation I've used, and even after oil/ hot cloth cleansing I still get residue on the cotton wool when going over my face with toner after. If you're prone to breakouts, beware!

First high end foundation I have ever purchased. Coverage is medium and the staying power is not anything to rave about. Doesn't keep me matte and I ended up returning it. Not a bad foundation overall but you can find cheaper and better in the drugstore.

Decent foundation, didn't leave my skin flakey unless I really was going hard on the topical acne creams the night before. Just seemed a little orange and wasn't the greatest coverage. If you don't have a lot of flaws to hide this is a good foundation because its sheer-medium coverage (unless you put more than 2 layers on)

So I bought this product in the lightest possible color yesterday at Sephora. The lady at the store told me that this specific foundation is used a great deal during the New York Fashion week which I thought was interesting but might not be true. The reason I sought out this product is because it is completely free of SPF. I use bare minerals on a regular basis and love it and think it's the absolute best foundation out there.... except when I go out at night and am photographed with my friends and etc. This makeup goes on well, a little thin for me I suppose, but you can build it up to cover more. I asked my friends their opinion and they said they prefer this to my bare minerals I normally wear because this product looks much more natural and gives me a healthy overall-glow. Cool! Anyway, this product is AWESOME for when you are being photographed because there is no titanium-dioxide in it. I have a problem with my bare minerals because when I am photographed wearing that, I look HORRENDOUSLY washed out. Like extremely pale. the only feature you can see on my face is my eyes. This makes it MUCH better. I love it for that reason. The little brush that comes with it is stupid and pointless, don't use it.

The ideal coverge i want - natural finish and semi sheer. The coverage is better than Bobbi brown skin foundation. Color is yellowish which is good for Asian. Last all day!
Packaging is not great since its not a pump.

One word, LOVE! Again, tried a sample, and would definitely purchase a full size after I get through my very generous sample. I've been wearing it 3 days in a row now, and have been testing it in different ways - with primer, without primer, with concealer, without concealer, etc. It still doesn't completely cover my redness, nothing does, but the rest of my face is velvety. It stays put all day long, even after sweating in our wonderful tropical humidity! It may be a little matte for me so I tried it with Clarins Beauty Flash Balm on top, and it looks more radiant that way. Can't wait to get my hands on a full-size of this because the sample I got doesn't have a concealer.

I've been using this for a month. It took me a few try's to find my color match (started with light, then tone,& I'm happiest w/ beige). It stays all day & I find that wearing a primer underneath helps with making sure it stays matte without a tacky feeling. I don't use the concealer, I prefer Bare Minerals Correcting Concealer in medium 2. This is a pricey product & I'd prefer a pump, but overall I'm satisfied & would purchase again.

ok,so i have had a week of using this newest foundation and so far so good, the concealer on the lid of the foundation is decent enough,i would say it is a light to medium coverage i still layer it with my usual concealer tho,the foundation itself is quite creamy but still runny if that makes sense,i dont care for the wide open neck bottle it comes in with a spatula type applicator in the lid as it can become very messy and drippy so take care. This product also comes with a small short handled foundation brush i know lots of people have been slating the brush but i quite like it .i dab on the foundation blend it with this brush then quickly finish the application with my fingertips, you have to work quite fast as it does dry quickly, this foundation is vey similiar to lancomes teint idole ultra-the original one which was in my top five foundations so im not surprised i like this, I can get a good medium coverage with 3 light layers wears for ten plus hrs, looks flawless doesnt oxide.and actually does all that it promises, which is rare in my experiance.i am an nc 30 in mac so i chose the tone colour 6,this is perfectly matched to my light medium skin.im really happy with it and glad this was money well spent as herein blighty-uk we dont have a return policy on any sorrt of makeup or skincare, once your moneys handed theres no going back,im always amaazed how in the usa you can actually use makeup and decide its not for you and return it,wish we had that here;lol!

This has rave reviews, but I am kind of eh on this. The foundation shades are not the best. I have seen mentioned this is a HD foundation and that could be why I do not like it. To me this left me with a funny look. I would not call it shiny, but it left me looks like I had put on highlighter on all over my face. The foundation is buildable, but I felt like it did not look good on my face. The concealer was kind of alright, nothing special. The only good thing is that this does stay put. The brush is useless. It is too small for the foundation and too large for the concealer. I do not think it is worth the $44.

This is a great foundation for HD cameras and all day wear for everyday. I am reviewing a lot of foundations right now because we upgraded the cameras our show and it is very unforgiving to makeup. You see EVERYTHING.
PROS:
1. All day wear, no powder needed. stays put
2. can be very sheer, and looks like 2nd skin (great for men!)
3. Can be either sheer, or build up to full coverage
4. Great for oily skin
5. Comes with concealer!
CONS:
1. Not great on super dry skin
2. Need a more full range color selection: Colors are very yellow based, not much in the pinky or peach toned colors.
3. Comes with concealer! (this is good and bad. sometimes its the concealer color you want, sometimes its not)
Hope this helps! Check out my other foundation reviews... I'm on a quest!!!

i LOVE this foundation. light weight, amazing coverage but doesn't feel heavy, easy to blend, holds all day and controls my oils, doesn't break me out, perfect match ( has many options to choose from ) easy to use because of the spatula inside. can be used as a light or a full coverage. the price is up there but its worth it. Not many foundation actually stay on my skin all day and don't cake up. this one does it.
my ONLY complaint is that is settles in my expression lines after a few hours.... but ill take that over looking oily and cakey. overall there PROS are far better then the CONS and i will definitely repurchase

Was "color-matched" to honey at Sephora with the new gadget they have. This makeup gives amazing coverage and glow, without turning into an oil slick by 2 pm. You can pile it on or apply the sheerest layer with a skunk brush, and the finish is flawless and really does last all day. I simply layer it over my Shiseido urban spf 42. The honey shade works beautifully with the Illamasqua bronzer, by the way. Love the little pot of concealer on top, which I dab under my eyes.
points off for having to take off the cap and that ridiculous spatula presentation which looks like a bad accident waiting to happen. Would definitely not recommend trying to open this in the car. Despite this minor design flaw, this is as good a foundation as I have ever used including EL, Chanel, CD, Bobbi Brown, Cle de Peau etc.
Will repurchase and strongly recommend heading over to your nearest Sephora for a sample trial.

I am kind of a foundation junky and recently I've been looking for a good long lasting foundation. I have combination skin and my T-zone gets very oil pretty fast in the day, while the rest of my skin can become dry and flakey. My skin is difficult, if I use moisturizers I look greasy if I use oil control primers on my t-zone it begins to flake. I'm also acne prone and using Retin-A micro, so that also makes my skin sensitive, dry, yet I still find most foundations make me greasy at the same time! How can both be happening? I guess I'm cursed.
Anyways I found that this foundation actually (magically) solves all my problems. It is truly long lasting, I do not feel the need to blot my t-zone at all, the skin color match is perfect, and the coverage is awesome! I also usually need a significant amount of powder to set most foundations and I barely need any with this (btw Makeup Forever HD translucent powder and Benefit Hello Flawless both work great with this foundation)
Additionally I have pigmentation leftover from acne and usually have to use significant concealer. I use a fraction of what I used to use with this foundation.
What I love the most about this foundation is it really sets well, almost every foundation I've tried, despite significant setting powder, is this sticky feeling all over my face. If I wear my sunglasses it usually rubs off and my skin is irritated. This does not happen with this foundation. You can take a nap and rub your face all over the pillow and it isn't going anywhere. And even though it has a great matt finish and staying power for some reason my skin is not dried out and flakey!!!
I love this foundation more than the hundreds of foundations I have tried! (FYI I have used Urban Decay's NAKED, Lancome Teint Miracle, Makeup Forever HD foundation, YSL Le Teint Touche eclat, Bobbi Brown SKIN, Laura Mercier Oil Free Tinted moisturizer, Sue Devitt Triple Seaweed Gel foundation, MAC Studio Fix)

I'm still not quite sure how I feel about this foundation. I used it a total of 3 times and I haven't been impressed with this foundation. I'm still debating whether or not I should return it.
What I like about it:
Great color match for me. I am an NC42 in MAC and the color Caramel suits my skin tone well.
Long lasting.
What I don't like:
The brush is useless as a foundation brush. It could be used for other purposes if you wish to keep it. I think I may be able to use it for contour chiseling under my cheekbones with creme products.
My pores on my cheeks are visible.
What I'm not sure about:
I can feel the foundation on my face.
The coverage is a bit heavier than what I wear on a day to day basis. This may be better suited for evening wear personally.
I've tried to apply this 3 different ways. Flat dome brush, stippling brush, damp sponge. Of the three, the stippling brush method garnered the best results.
I still want to give this foundation a try but I just find it more and more difficult to convince myself to keep it. It shouldn't be this hard to make a foundation look good on you.
