This is by far the best topcoat I ever used. I got it as a present from a friend and used over al kinds of nail polishes, not one of them chipped (and they always did without topcoat or different topcoat), the nail polish I have on right now has been there since 10 days, without any chipping whatsoever. Really happy about that! The shine does get less after a few days, but hey I don't care because I don't have to do my nails every other day!

This is a review on Essie "Let it shine" high shine top coat.
It does what it says, is very shinny, it prevents nails from chipping and dries up quickly.
My mum got me this by mistake (well, the SA did) instead of "No chips ahead", and I´m glad the shop assistant thought she meant not the no cheap ahead....anyway, that top coat had worse reviews so I thought I´d give this a try and it works perfectly for me so I guess I´d buy this again. Price here in Spain is 13.50 euros, packaging was good cause it comes in a plastic transparent box so it protects it well.

If you like your polish to look ultra glossy, then run out and buy this. It's super super shiny, it looks really nice. Also, with this top coat, I get about a week's wear out of my Essie polishes without any chipping (as long as I'm careful and don't pick at my cuticles).
I did notice that the high shine effect only lasts two or three days, it can become a bit duller after that so if you want that shiny finish maybe top up with one more coat halfway through the week. But all in all: I love it. I think I might try Matte About You next for when I want a matte look, like when I want a more natural, frenchy nail.
