My favourite nude! Just wanted to say that kat7inka's review was wrong, as the polish is not thick or clumpy, she simply had bought an old/dried out bottle of it and should use a thinner. The consistency of it is light, not too runny, easy to work with. Requires 2 (occasionally 3) coats. It is perfect for warm skin tones and I cannot compliment it enough. Best nude ever :)

Like ChynaGirl I'm astonished about the positive reviews for this one. I have and love Samoan Sand, only it's slightly too dark for me in winter, and sometimes I wish it was less transparent. DPMB seemed to be the perfect choice then - slightly paler and more opaque. Well, I'm sorry to say it, but it could easily take the prize as the worst nail polish I've ever had.

The polish is thick and feels like glue. Because the polish is so thick it makes the brush separate during application which makes the result very (VERY) streaky. Two coats is still streaky and also looks unattractively thick and clumsy. I then added a bit of nail polish thinner (ten drops) to the bottle, shaked well and tried again. Same result. Then I added thirty drops of thinner, shaked well, waited ten minutes and gave it another try. Same result. Then I threw the bottle away. I simply don't know anybody I dislike enough to gift them with this polish.

The experience made me remember why I last year promised myself never to buy another polish from OPI. They spit out so many bottles every year and are so keen to be on trend that their quality control apparently can't keep up. There are simply too many misses from this company.

This is my "go to" shade. I LOVE LOVE LOVE Don't Pretzel My Buttons. It is perfectly opaque with two coats and OPI's formula is wonderful. I can't say enough about this product. Drying time is fantastic and the color is just gorgeous. It's honestly the PERFECT nude color. Looks classy and professional. I'd say it's the perfect way to spruce up your nails without looking like you're trying too hard.

I'm really quite surprised at all the great comments for this polish. Today was my first time trying OPI EVER and I just received in the post the Ger-Minis collection and DPMB was the first color I wanted to try. I couldn't wait to put it on. I'd always heard how great the OPI brush is, the application, the wear, etc. Well, first of all, the brush is a HUGE disappointment. It separated into single strands, individual brush hairs wouldn't lay flat, some longer, some shorter. Although the polish is creamy and opaque, it's goopy and gloppy and went on in streaks. So much so that I needed three coats (four on some nails) to get full coverage. It's taking forever to dry, even with a quick-dry topcoat. And, to top it off, it's bubbling up as it dries.

The ONLY redeeming factor is the color, which isn't much when the polish application anyway doesn't look nice. Needless to say, I would NOT recommend this nor try it/buy it again. My BIG regret is I have nine more OPI colors that I bought... I'm wondering if they'll all be like this one, or was this just a fluke? I think maybe I'll go back to the most perfect polishes, Nails Inc. and China Glaze. Can't ask for a better brand than either of those two.

the expert sales person recommended this to me after i showed her a photo of the nude i wanted. i spent lots of time testing out coney island and bubblebath but they were too yellow or too pink. plus it needed at least 3 coats to have opaque colour which is unacceptable.

i tried on DPMB and was so impressed by how opaque and smooth it is. amazing classy nude creme shade for warmer skinned people. it is the only nude i like, the most neutral.

Originally got this in the Germany Mini Set. This was the first colour from the set I tried, as I always wanted a nice nude polish and the closest thing I had was Papparazzi Don't Preach, but thats more of a pale pink, which doesn't really have a great application.
As soon as I put on DPMB, I fell in love, it only look two coats, and went on so smoothly. I went out the next day and bought the full size bottle. I refer to this polish as 'mannequin hands" cause my hands look so perfect and the colour is close to my skin tone. I'm going to have fun using this as a base colour for when I do nail art.

Lovely light beige-y color. Was not quite mannequin hands for me as my hands are still hanging on to some color from summer beach time but I really liked it. Since my complexion is so warm, it pulled on the pink-y side for me. Loved the clean, elegant look it gave my hands. Formula was very good, with 2 coats making it perfectly level and opaque. Recommend!

This is an amazing creme beige nude colour from OPI's 2012 Germany collection.

Application: 4/5
Colour Turnout: 5/5

I am absolutely in love with this colour. It is the absolute perfect beige-nude. I find most beiges to be kind of "blah" on but this one is just lovely. It almost has a hint of a blush colour (not much, just a tad). Amazing creme finish (my fav!). Perfect for conservative polish wearers (I personally go wild with nail polish colours, but like to wear nice neutrals for work).
The application was great. I used two coats, could almost get away with one though. Didn't go on streaky or gloopy, dried quickly as well.
Overall, I'd definitely recommend!

Purchased a mini bottle of this which came with three other colors in the Germany Collection. I thought this was going to be boring but it is my new neutral.. I use three coats and love the nude color.

YAYAYAYAYYAYAYAYAAYAYAYYAAY

Words cannot express how much I love this colour - it is the perfect nude - not dirty looking, too peach or too blah.

It was a perfect, chic neutral which made me run out and buy it! Long lasting too = it survived 2 long haul flights in two days :)

This is my new favorite nude shade; it's classic and elegant looking on my hands. I have a tan, caramel like complexion by the way. I only needed two coats of this polish for an opaque look.

This is such a beautiful shade = a pale cool beige, with a very slight pink cast. The wear is excellent. A real winner.

What a pretty colour. My skin is NC20 (maybe it's NC25 now that it's summer) and it is not the 'mannequin hands' look on me but a very pretty nude shade. Looks sophisticated.
I was afraid it will have too much yellow undertones but it is not so. For cream formulation it is not too thick. But certainly it's not the easiest one to work with.
However it seems I am the only one who cannot work with OPI pro-wide brush! It is so flared that I cannot help but stain my cuticles. I am not a polish applying expert but normally I am not bad either. With this one I always mess it. Either there is too much polish on the brush or too little. I don't think I will be purchasing more polishes from OPI just because of the brush.

Don't Pretzel My Buttons is from OPI Germany 2012 Fall/Autumn Collection. This color is a warm creme nude color with a light warm grey and light brown undertone. It also adds a tint of pink in it to look nice.
The application for this color is surprisingly flawless providing it's a light nude color. Normally I find light/nude color will make your nails look streaky but not this one. It dries really fast and doesn't chip easily at all.
So far, out of the entire Germany Collection, this is my favorite color. Not only because I am a big fan of nude color, but also of the texture and application. It really makes your hands look elegant in light or dark color dresses. If you like warm nude color, this is the one to go.

This is the nude creme polish from OPI's Fall 2012 Germany collection.

Judging by the bottle alone, I thought this was going to look IDENTICAL to my favorite nude, which is OPI's Samoan Sand. However, once on my nails, DPMB looked like a creamy, light toffee with strong mauve undertones to it, so noticeably grey-er than SS. Out in broad sunlight, you can see the mauve-y undertones much more than you can see them indoors, where it looks like a creamy nude.

I have a love-hate relationship with this formula, but I don't hate it enough to take off a lippie. The color is quite pigmented and can be opaque in 2 coats (3 if you're paranoid like me), but the formula is so runny! I had to clean up rapidly a few times after I accidently applied too much and it ran down the side of my nail. I didn't expect such a runny formula from an OPI polish, but the pigmentation is worth it so no real complaints there. Because it's so light and runny, it also dries quickly, so that's another plus.

Overall, another nice nude to go in my collection. I still think Samoan Sand will be a more flattering nude on those of us with very warm or yellow-y skin (I have NC25/30 Asian skin for reference), but this one is definitely wearable.
