I just bought my second NYX bronzer in medium yesterday! I absolutely love this bronzer. I switch between this one and the too faced chocolate soleil bronzer ...I would definitely compare them and say that i like both equally..
ps. NYX is only a fraction of the price!!

This is by far the best bronzer I've ever used!

Price: $13 CAD
Colour: (Deep Tan) deep warm brown
Texture: silky smooth
Pigmentation: light to medium

It doesn't apply orangey as it may look in the pan. I've tried the NYC Sunny one (which everyone seems to love) but it wasn't deep enough to show on my face. This, however, applies beautifully to give me that chiseled look. Don't use too much as it does have good pigm.

HG material through and through

This is my second bronzer I've bought in my life. The one before was an elf on and it was way too shimmery for me. I just wanted a nice touch/glow of color to make my BB cream not look to light on me. This does a fabulous job! It makes me look like I've gotten a little sun and is super matte. I got the medium one and use an Eco tools lush brush with a light hand. I use a little around my hairline, a little on my nose, chin, and down my neck. It doesn't make me itch, doesn't break me out, or give me a weird orange color. Plus, you can't beat the price of it! $8.99 at ulta. If you're lucky, you can find it for 40% on certain sales also! I guess it's a great starter bronzer for anyone bc if I can use a bronzer, anyone can. :)

I love this bronzer remember to only use this around the edges of face and under cheek bones. Great colour. I have olive skin and I bought the second lightest colour and it's a tad dark but still very blend able.

I purchased the 2 darkest shades (04 and 05) and I hated the way this felt and looked on my skin. It was gritty, drying and muddy looking. For the hype this product receives I had higher expectations.

I'm about an nc20-nc25 for reference. I got this bronzer in the shade Medium because i thought the shade Light would be too light for a contour color. I was so excited to try this, but it shows up so orange on my skin, and is really hard to blend out. I just tap my brush in it lightly, and it still looks like i have mud on my face.

This bronzer is an eh for me. I'm a medium tan so I got the darkest color, and I didn't see a big difference in my face while contouring. I like that it's a matte bronzer though

I bought this bronzer in light (I'm fair) on Amazon last week and it finally arrived yesterday. I used it today for the first time and I really like it. This matte bronzer is perfect for contouring and blends very well. My ELF brush picks up the product very well, but I don't feel like I am using too much like with other bronzers. I am going to keep using this and hope that I continue to love it.

How many bronzers does one woman need? Apparently I decided I needed another one so I got the NYX matte bronzer in Medium, #3.

I already have Bobbi Brown's Medium which I use to contour (it's a tiny bit darker than NYX's Medium) and I wanted something a bit lighter for an all over natural sun kissed look.

The fact that the texture is matte is a big selling point for me. I'm not crazy about shimmery bronzers and most bronzers out there have way too much shimmer for my liking.

I've been using Chanel's Soleil Tan Base as a light base on top of my liquid foundation du jour, followed by using Bobbi Brown's Medium bronzer to contour in the hollows of my cheeks. I use a very light hand to avoid that area looking 'dirty'. I follow up with a light dusting of NYX Medium bronzer along the hair line, chin and jaw area. Or I'll use Quo's Faux Glow 1 if I want a hint of sheen on the cheeks.

While I think the NYX bronzer is great for a light bronzed look, I'm not fond of the texture. I find it a bit on the chalky and powdery side, at least compared to the Bobbi Brown bronzers which have a superb texture.
For that reason, I probably wouldn't repurchase the NYX bronzer.

If you're on a budget or trying out bronzers for the first time, the NYX matte bronzers are worth trying.

My favorite bronzer up to date. I use it mostly for contouring. I'm a NC 25-30 and I got this one in "Deep" shade, which at first I thought was too dark. Maybe next time I'll buy it in "medium", but for now I totally learned how to make it work. I simply dip my brush very lightly and blend it well. I love that it's not orangy at all, it just gives me a very natural contour.
Love it! Recommend it!

This is a great bronzer. Its wonderful for adding warmth to the face, contouring and even a light blush. I have two MAC bronzers, and I do like them- but they have a slight shimmer to them, and one has to much of a red tone (I prefer those for summer)- I wanted something for everyday use. I saw a few Youtubers reviewing this, and it looked promising. I purchased the shade Medium, and it perfect. It's completely matte, and the colour is gorgeous. It's long lasting, inexpensive, and the packaging is sleek

I love shimmer more than Lady Gaga, but for contouring, I need something matte. Otherwise I just look insane. I used to use a darker powder than my skintone, but it just wasn't giving me the results I wanted.
Then, to Ulta I go and I spy NYX Matte bronzers. They're just that, completely, totally matte. Nary a shimmer in sight, which is more than I can say for most products that claim to be matte yet have that telltale shimmer. Yeesh.
There are more shades on the NYX website, but Ulta only carries Light, Medium, and Dark, so I went with Medium, despite my paleness, as it had the undertones I was aiming for.
It's pigmented, but if I use a light hand and blend a little, I get exactly what I'm aiming for; shimmer-free contour and defined features. Loving it
EDIT: Bumping it down to a 3, as it did end up oxidizing pretty badly. As this isn't news with my pale skin, I won't completely blame NYX and won't discourage anyone from buying this, but if you're pale, be warned. The search for a good contour continues

Great packaging, awesome formula. A little goes a long way. I really loved everything about this bronzer except for the fact that the colour isn't quite right for my skintone. Too bad. I am hoping they come out with more colours.

I love this bronzer. It is awesome for contouring. No shimmers and it is so soft.

But....

it breaks. I have had four of these in the last 8 months. It just crumbles when you travel with it. I still use it but I can't take it with me everywhere.

I've used this on my very fair friends for contour and medium friends for all over bronzing.

I use the light shade. I find the medium is slightly orange. I don't personally know anyone who would use the dark but maybe in the summer time. It has no orange tone to it

So far I really love this! I think it's more for contouring rather than all over like NYC sunny. A little goes a l long way and it make my face look sharp! I def recommend this!

I'm a big fan of this bronzer. I'm very fair skinned, so it's sometimes difficult for me to find a bronzer that is light enough without looking orange. I like that this doesn't have shimmer in it so it's perfect for light contouring. It provides that "Wow you look great" effect without the "Wow, what bronzer did you use?" Pretty cheap. I like it just as much as MAC's matte bronzer. This is my new go to bronzer in the winter. Blends well, affordable, a little goes a long way, and it's easy to find.
