I absolutely love Vanilla Bean Noel. It's a winter scent, but I love it so much I wear it all year round. It seems that each year B&BW slightly changes the scent, and the more recent ones definitely smell the most delicious! It smells just like its description - vanilla, caramel, and cream. I constantly get told I smell great - like cookies and cake when I wear this! If you are a foodie scent/gourmand lover, you would LOVE this body mist! It does not have good sillage at all though, and I am constantly respraying it on myself all day long. But it smells so good that I don't even mind! If you go to B&BW after the holidays during their semi annual sale, you can get a bottle for $4! I always stock up for the rest of the year since it's only available during the holidays. I am a huge fan of sweet vanilla smells and this one is by far my favorite, next to Victoria's Secret Vanilla Lace.

A friend recommended this to me, so I bought it on sale just to try it out so I got the travel sized one. And now I regret not getting the bigger one since it's one of my favourite scents. I had to get out of my way to buy the regular size online because it was already sold out in-store! It has a nice vanilla scent that's quickly taken over by a sweet caramel scent. I advise to spray a few times or it'll be too strong. I'm not sure if it's different for everyone but it lasts for 3-4 hours on me. It's definitely something to wear on a cool to chilly day, and not for warm days. It'll be too strong and nauseating. So if you like sweet scents, I'd recommend this one.

This is nothing like the warm vanilla sugar body splash by BBW. It has more of a sweet burnt marshmallow smell. It's not really the best. If your looking for a good vanilla scent def go for the warm vanilla sugar.

I always end up getting sick of fragances, but I can never get sick of vanilla. I love the Christmas collections at Bath and Body Works, and I never really bothered to try Vanilla Bean Noel. One of my girlfriends wore this, and I fell in love! So I drove to Bath and Body Works at once and purchased it. Sadly, they sold out on the lotions so I went for the spray. Vanilla Bean Noel is amazing! It smells like your classic baked goods. Like cookies in the oven baking. It brings back so many nostalgic memories. I love it, and I definitely reccomend it to those who LOVE the smell of vanilla and baked goods!

Non-alcohol, non-synthetic smelling vanilla. Creamy, milky, creme-brulee, ice-cream kind of vanilla. True that the mist doesn't last long, but if layered with body wash, cream and mist it's decent.
I tend to use this smell with other sweet perfumes. For example, when I use my Diesel Loverdose I'll mix it with this vanilla to sweeten it up.
If you don't like sweet, gourmande smells, this one is not for you. Sweet and sugary, you'll smell like dessert!

It smells like a nice gourmet vanilla paradise! It doesn't last long at all that's only downside to it.

This smells divine! It has that gloriously gourmand vanilla scent that seems like a concoction of pure vanilla, marshmallows, and ice cream! It is a rather light formulation though, so I find it best to spray it mostly on my clothes. That way, the scent just lasts and lasts! I spritzed some on last night just as I got out of the shower and was getting ready for bed and I can still smell it this morning! It smells just like the fragrance "Tihota" by Indult. That is supposedly the best vanilla gourmand scent ever made and it sold for $300. To my nose, Vanilla Bean Noel is the lighter, softer version of that super luxurious perfume.

I bought cream and body spray because I love anything vanilla and this smells like creme brulee with some burnt sugar on top. However, my biggest beef with this is how weak the smell is. I layered it with lotion and it lasted less than 20 min(I timed it). It seems like every year, their items get more expensive and scents get weaker and weaker. I am so sick of it. Btw, I have couple of Body Fantasies body sprays and these last an hour or two on me and it cost only few dollars. So I feel like BBW is ripping people off. Considering that I live in the tropics where its always humid which tends to amplify any scent, no such thing happened with this. Seriosly, I am swearing off buying BBW body sprays because lasting power is so horrible, what a waste of money.

As most are saying- When I first smelled this, I loved it! It smells delicious and just everything I love about Christmas! After awhile, it starts to smell like...well, over-powering white chocolate nasty. It becomes way too sweet and I hate it now. It makes me feel sick to my stomach. :( Maybe a good scent for a candle? Not for body spray.

When I first bought this... I was in LOVE. I wore it everywhere and anywhere and thought I smelled like marshmallows and got a kazillion compliments on it too. It was too overpowering for me at first, but I got used to the after smell which was more subtle.
Now when I smell it, I feel like throwing up :( .. its sickeningly too sweet and smells like chemical and artificial vanilla and marshamallow. Definitely won't repurchase :(

This body splash is absolutely amazing! I am obsessed with the smell of vanilla so everything vanilla scented I normally love but this one is one of the best I have tried! It's subtle but still there, just without the headaches that some scents give. This is my go to scent for everyday regardless of what I'm doing. It's one of the few scents that I can wear to any occasion and never feel out of place. I always get so many compliments on it too. Everyone is always asking me which scent it is and borrowing it from me. And you get sooo much product with this I don't think I will EVER run out! I have used it nearly everday since last christmas and barely made a dent.

This review is for the fragrance mist and body cream.
I love anything green and festive for the holidays. Christmas is meant to be warm and cheerful and this scent is both.
For those people who go to BBW often would know when I say, that Vanilla Bean Noel smells quite different every year. Never really a bad different, because in all honesty, can vanilla smell bad to a vanilla lover? Probably not. Although I would not dare say that this is a straight up vanilla scent. It smells like caramel and buttercream as listed in the fragrant notes.
The fragrance mist has really good staying power.
The body cream is moisturizingand it is great for layering other scents with it. As this scent is a great base scent. For instance if you use the Vanilla Bean Noel cream, you can use a different foody scented mist and a great perfume.
If you are not familar with this, you need to try this, especially if you love VANILLA!
Yes I would buy BBW Vanilla Bean Noel body splash and/or body cream again.

I am very happy with my purchase and would repurchase for sure. I think the lasting power of this mist is good. Hours later, although the initial strong sweetness has faded, VBN still smells like delicious vanilla on my skin. I sometimes spray my sweatshirt too, and if I wear the sweatshirt again the next day it is infused with the wonderful, spun sugar scent of VBN.
VBN is a decadent, rich, caramelized vanilla scent, with no musk, floral, sandalwood, patchouli or incense. It's a straight up sweet, spun sugar scented vanilla. For those who find sweet foodie type scents a turn-off, steer clear of this one. For those who love over-the-top foodie smell-goods, this is worth trying! I also find this is a great layering scent. I wear it alone but sometimes I even wear it layered with another scent and it adds depth and warmth.
It seems BBW got it right this year as I've seen many reviews from years past that the lotion in this scent is HG status but the splash had little scent other than alcohol. The fact that it's offered in travel size is also a HUGE plus, as it makes it easier to sample different scents without a commitment, although this scent is so good I would repurchase in a full sized bottle. Also, travel sized make great gifts!
(Just for fun I wanted to add that I had some leftover VBN shower gel from last year and some leftover Twisted Peppermint shower gel. I poured the TP into the VBN bottle and shook it up and the combination smelled just like those chocolate thin mint Girl Scout cookies to me!)

love this smell! its a creamy warm vanilla smell with a hint of burnt sugar. The scent smells wonderful when first applied, but i noticed after 20 minutes the smell totally disappeared.. sad, so i spray it in my room for a short term blissful smell..totally wished the scent lasted longer.. :( but i still love it!

Has no lasting power. Otherwise it's a pretty good smell if you want to smell like a sugar cookie :)

This smells so good. Its my favorite scent from bath and body works. In fact I just bought 3 more bottles online...:)

I loved the scent of this lotion in the store. It smelled like a soft vanilla. When I got the spray home and spritzed it, it was very strong and reminded me of a cupcake on fire :( I am sensitive to smells though so this may be why I thought it was so strong.

It smells like cotton candy and mattress. I bought it because it's vanilla, but boy...I shouldn't have. I can't even use it as a "freshner" (what becomes of fragrances I don't care to wear) because it's just so...cotton candy. And it gives me a headache. Just not my kind of scent.

I was quite skeptical about this because Vanilla Bean Noel smelled like concentrated alcohol and burnt sugar from the bottle. I bought it anyway thinking it was better than Warm Vanilla Sugar (which I was disappointed with). I learned that you have to wait for it to settle which is only a few minutes btw, before it changes into a nice caramel-ly kind of creme brulee scent. I LOVE IT!
My guy friend said that it smelled like our favorite coffee shop and proceeded to tell me of his fond memories there. haha. Vanilla Bean Noel is great for reliving happy times with friends.

I'm afraid that I really don't get the reviews that describe this to be horrible/different every year. They all appear the same to me. The only thing I noticed is the cream and lotion smells softer since they've reformulated the lotion/cream. Otherwise, I find the body splash to be just like all the other body splashes. It starts out with a strong alcohol blast and then dries down to a soft creme brulee fragrance.
