For a natural, no fuss mascara look this is amazing. I love build-able mascara, and I was using Bobbi Brown's Extreme Party. I have switched to this for everyday, and I can leave the house with just this on and feel pretty. The applicator is small, however, I like it because I feel more control over the brush.

I was so excited about this product - I love Lush, and I have sensitive eyes so thought this would be the perfect product for me. Alas no. As others have pointed out the super short wand is annoying and makes it hard to apply. And I find my eyes start to sting after only a few hours of wearing it.

So I've been using this for a couple months now and as stated in other reviews it does come with a ridiculously short wand. That aside I think this is my new HG mascara. I have very very sensitive eyes, oily lids and work with water that splashes around. This stuff holds up to all that with no smudging, flaking, clumping or fall out, plus after using it for a while I've noticed my lashes look longer and thicker than before. The price is a bit higher than I would pay for mascara but for what it's done and how it feels I would definitely buy it again.

For makeup junkies who are looking for more natural and organic beauty, this is a homerun. The ingredients for the mascara are lovely and for an organic product to work this well, it is certainly rare.
The price point of $18.95 CDN is a bit steep, considering you receive 5 g of the product. It is smooth, unscented, doesn't flake, cake or smear and creates a very natural and thickening effect without looking false or cheap.
The product comes in a an eyedropper bottle and has the expiration date, like all Lush products, right on the container - which when you think about it, should be done for ALL mascaras!!!
I have a complaint about the wand as it is very tiny and somewhat difficult to maneovre, but it isn't impossible. Awkward at first but not impossible. The bottle itself is tiny and very travel friendly.
Overall, this is a great product and feels like I am doing something good for my lashes instead of slathering layers of chemicals over my lashes. Anyone with contact lenses, glasses or eye sensitivities would also really benefit from a product like this.

This product actually goes on the lashes nicely, but I find the wand to use very awkward. It's a good mascara from the standpoint that it doesn't irritate my eyes, and its lightweight in that when you curl your lashes, it holds the curl well. If they would make the mascara in a normal tube shape and wand, and perhaps in black/brown shade, I would buy again.

The packaging of this is crap. I don't mean that the brush is too short because after years of putting mascara on, I found that no real problem (though the eye corners are more challenging.) No, the problem is the flimsiness of the lid. Today I was getting ready to go on a first date. I had 20 minutes left, and wanted to use them to do flawless mascara. I had one coat on one eye before I put the lid back into the tube to get more product--and the brush bit got lodged in the bottom I figured I'd just screw the lid back on and when I screwed it back undone, the part would've fit back in. No! By the time I'd used needle-nosed tweezers to pull all the bits out of the bottle, I had mascara all over my hands and the guy was supposed to be t my house in 10 minutes. I tried to just use the loose brush, to apply the product, but because it needs the opening reducer to control how much product gets on it, it just got huge quantities of mascara out and even wiping the brush couldn't really fix it. Disaster.
This mascara is actually really good. When the brush is able to function, the application leaves no clumps and gives the lashes excellent definition. The packaging is a huge problem, though. I don't care about having to put out a few dollars more for this product than for others, but if the packaging can't survive until the end of the use, there's improvement needed.

I have been using this product for a week and at first I hated it. BUT, I got use to the short wand and now I love it. The product itself is amazing. I HATE clumpy mascara and this never clumps. I do find that I need to use two coats in order to get the effect I want. This is no big deal because I was using MAC before this and I needed to use two coats on that too. I have never used a mascara where I didn't need two coats. I don't know what some of these reviewers are saying, you should never let the mascara dry between coats! Try applying the two coats back to back and you will have amazing results! Applying wet mascara on top of dry mascara creates clumps! It is hard to remove (even with makeup remover), no big deal though. Just use an extra swipe of makeup remover and it will come right off. It lasts all day and it holds the curl all day as well (for me at least).
Although I got use to the packaging, I really hate it. I get excess product on my upper and lower lid forcing me to waste. I get that they package like this in order to help our environment (something I appreciate from LUSH), but I end up wasting product anyway. Do not let the brush discourage you though, you will get use it!!! Once you do you will be in love.
It is natural and GOOD FOR YOU. Those of you who are avid mascara wearers knows how damaging mascara is for you. This natural wheat grass formula does wonder for my lashes. My eye lashes have never been in better condition.
It is VEGAN! No animal products and no testing on the poor beagles and bunnies!!
Only has one preservative (awesome!) Therefore, toss after 3 months (like most mascaras anyway).
The pros outweigh the two cons that are 1) the packaging and 2) the removal process.
BUY THIS!
****UPDATE********
As much as I did love this product, my feelings have changed. After the first two weeks I stopped using it completely. The packaging was just too hard to manage. The formula still remains good in my eyes.

OMG. This is by far the best of the best hands down holy grail mascaras of them all. I love it the only I mean the only thing I don't like about it is the wand it is way to short. But it is very very black also it lengthens a lot as well as holds the curl and I feel my lashes have been their healthiest they have ever been. It is my new favorite product I have own. You don't even need to use any shadow with this mascara. It makes your eyes gorgeous! It id my new love.

Picked up Lush's Eyes Right Mascara at the Towson Mall shop in Maryland after seeing it in their catalog. I was really excited, and I am feeling so so about it. It has the WORST short handled wand ever! I grabbed a couple extra spoolies from the display for my daughter to try it out with, and I'm glad I did, as I've been using them to apply the mascara to my lower lashes. It takes multiple coats to achieve any kind of impact look, but it's nice once you've worked with it for about 10 minutes! It stays soft and hasn't flaked on me. I slept on the plane with it this past week, and even after 18 hrs it didn't look or feel bad. I didn't get any smudging either, and I use a good bit of eye cream. Washes off easy too.
I think it's going to wind up being quite pricey since I have to use 3 to 4 coats to get the look I want. Not sure how much is really in the bottle-or if you can see into it once the product is half gone. I don't like that the sales clerk just pulls a jar off the shelf that the public has access to-the bottle isn't sealed either-you could easily get product that has been tampered with-UGH!
Right now I wouldn't purchase again, but that might change if Lush makes some improvements to this product.

I loved the idea of a nourishing mascara - but the small brush is a BIG NO good - its tiny winy and all straight .
The texture is good and like kinda of the result . I do not like the format either . so cause of the brush i will have to say NO.

I am a LUSHie and nearly crapped myself when I heard about their MU line. I have sensitive eyes and use eyedrops multiple times a day. I need a mascara that makes my lashes thicker/longer, has staying power and doesn't burn my eyes. I hoped to all things holy that this product would work for me. Alas, it does not.
As others have mentioned, the wand absolutely sucks. It is way too short and I can't really get to the base of my lashes with it-- and I have rather small hands. The formula is OK. Goes on pretty wet. Maybe it's due to the wand but I got some clumping and my lashes didn't look thicker or longer.
By the end of my work day it's smudged a bit and is about gone from my lashes. It doesn't irritate my eyes, which is great, but otherwise it's a lame mascara. I'm hoping LUSH will heed customer feedback about the crappy wand and re-design the otherwise cool packaging. Going back to my old reliable, Bobbi Brown No Smudge.

I am a Lush product fanatic so when they came out with mascara I was so pumped. The mascara itself is good. Goes on smooth with no clumps and washed of beautifuly. The wand and packaging is why I would not buy this mascara again. It is so small that it is so hard to apply and it is almost impossible not to get it on your eye lids. It is also a more natural look so if you want the full "false lash" look then this is not the product for you.

I'm a big fan of natural mascaras that are gentle on my eyelashes. The one I used before was a Korres mascara but I can only buy it on the internet for £16. Therefore, I was SO exciting when lush brought out a mascara and in the cutest little pipette Alice in wonderland magic potion style bottle! At £12 it's probably in the same region as other higher end drug store mascaras. So far, I have no irritation problems and no smudging issues. People say the mascara wand is too short, it is a bit unusually short to get used to but I haven't found it interfere with application myself, but I do have small flat eyes so I can't speak for all eye shapes as to whether it's difficult to put on (I've used a mascara with a toothbrush applicator before so this was still easier than that Longcils boncza one!)
The finish is very natural, nothing too dramatic although it does make a noticable difference with a few coats.
All in all great stuff, I will definitely be repurchasing!

Ok so I was skeptical at first, I love the false lash look without actually wearing fake lashes. I was told this mascara would not give me that effect but it was beneficial in other ways. So I purchased this product because if its conditioning benefits & because of how much product your getting for your money.... First couple of days I felt this mascara did nothing for my lashes, there was no significant change that made me feel it was a good product. After about a week I decided to give this product another try, I coated both sides of my lushes & then let it dry. Followed by another coat once dry & repeated the process about four times, & to my surprise I had such a dramatic effect, no clumps, just evenly separated lashes that began to touch the top of my lid. Adding black eyeliner or a dark blue liner helped to achieve that dramatic false lash look. Takes patience but its not a deal breaker for me... The brush is very short & can get a bit messy but its in a cute travel friendly package so I can't complain. Wear this mascara day, my lashes after I was my face looks longer & Fuller. Happy with this product & will be the only mascara I use from now on.... Also just because its nourishing to your lashes, do not sleep with it on over night. I have experienced lash fall out everytime I slept with this mascara on mostly when I have used heavy coats. .... My review is also all over the place lol but ... This mascara is also great for touch ups throughout the day. I went from work to a date and this product applied well & gave me a fresh look and more volume

This mascara passed the test of a horribly hot & sticky humid day with high marks (44Celsius). Using a blow dryer with my lash curler to curl them once the mascara was applied, they kept their shape a good 7 hours! It's a thin formula so if you want thick lashes you'll have to be patient. I applied 3 coats waiting for the mascara to dry between each. In the morning this could be a drag since it takes at least one minute to dry. Silky, no lumps and a nice deep black. It didn't melt eather in the heat and was easy to remove. The reason why I removed a lippie is the brush which is a bit too short and will take some getting used to. At $18,95 CAD the price is very reasonable considering I was never able to get such results with any drugstore brands. The one I was using was Estée Lauder Sumptuous which is also nice but sometimes did make clumps.
